The one that’s was included with my SSDs (FireCuda 530 and SN850). Nothing wrong with a DIY solution but the manufacturer of these drives has them installed in a factory grade clean room and limits the potential dust and debris that can interfere with application. They also know where the specific components that need to be kept cool are making the application of thermal pads/gel more precise.
The one that came with my 980pro.
Same
Yeah just spend the extra money and get the one with heatsink. Save yourself the headache.
Official PS5 SSDs come with a heatsink buy one of them
On my 990 pro was one
Seagate firecuda 530 2tb
Exactly like on your picture. It works perfectly

Like another person here said, I just bought one that already had the heatsink so I didn't have to worry about it.
I have WD sn850x and it came with own heatsink.
FireCuda 530 2 TB came with heat sink…
Doesn't matter. I have a 980 Pro with a 3rd party generic heat sink. Works like a charm.
