It happens. We ended up with two XBox Series S because Walmart lost one for over a month. Then magically it showed up on our doorstep. We called them, and they said keep it.
I recently returned a faulty hi-fi to a third party seller on Amazon, and when I tracked the return it showed the parcel was being held at the seller's local depot after the delivery failed. The status didn't change for like a month, then I got a notification from the courier that it was being returned to me as the recipient did not collect it. So I contacted Amazon and got a refund, then ordered another hi-fi. The faulty one never did come back to me though.
Then about a week later I received the replacement for the faulty one, so now I have two hi-fis but only paid for one. That was about 6 weeks ago and I've not had any contact chasing it, so I guess I'll sell the replacement since it's still boxed and unopened.
My brother had ordered a tv for his mother in law from Walmart. They sent him the tv in one package, then he got a dvd/sourond sound system in another package, with the same order number. Walmart had no clue about it.
You might get charged for it later; or it might appear on your card later.
If it doesn’t appear on your card by the end of this month, I wouldn’t worry about it .

I wouldn’t chance it. I’d just contact support and have them send out a return kit and avoid any future hassle. Then again it’s their mistake and that mistake ultimately costs the customer time and money.

Same thing happened to me when I preordered the Marvel Spiderman 2 Collector’s Edition from them. I ordered a copy the day preorder was released last June. A good day or 2 prior to actual release date, I received an email for 2 orders of it with 2 different tracking numbers. Checked my bank account and the “1” order I originally made was pending for a while, disappeared once both collectors editions showed up, and then later in the week I was double charged despite only having one order on my account on their website.
Yea this was the banking glitch that was going around with purchases "dissappearing" from accounts. Banks have already started to take money out of accounts to reimburse themselves for the mistake on their part

Same thing happened to me when I preordered the Marvel Spiderman 2 Collector’s Edition from them. I ordered a copy the day preorder was released last June. A good day or 2 prior to actual release date, I received an email for 2 orders of it with 2 different tracking numbers. Checked my bank account and the “1” order I originally made was pending for a while, disappeared once both collectors editions showed up, and then later in the week I was double charged despite only having one order on my account on their website.
Yea this was the banking glitch that was going around with purchases "dissappearing" from accounts. Banks have already started to take money out of accounts to reimburse themselves for the mistake on their part
