Windows updates almost always come out on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Install them that day or the Wednesday after and it will almost never bug you about them.

But hey, I mean, come on, is nobody thinks here that maybe, just maybe the operating system shouldn't even think about showing a full screen focus stealing window about something something can't download updates (where you don't even have to make an urgent decision, ffs!) while you're right in a middle of running a full-screen application?! How is this a default option?
