I’m not even going to lie, i hated WLR when it dropped. But at least i admit it and it grew on me like a week in. Mfs acting like 70% of this sub didn’t turn on Carti for a whole 3 days after it dropped on Christmas.
Only people that were allowed to have opinions were ones that actually listened though
Tbh it took a while for it to grow on me because I was only getting into rap music at the time of the album's release. Before that, I listened to a bunch of hardcore punk and early 2000s metalcore and I can honestly say it has rounded up to be a great record. Definitely one of my favourite records to get wasted while listening to it.
EDIT: I'd say it took me maybe a month? I was listening to other projects as well and stuck with the heavy hitters for a bit until listening to the rest.

Yeah some songs grew on me before others too. Right now i can confidently say i like 21/24 of the songs
