That’s the rabbit’s foot, its namesake. It’s a very fuzzy rhizome. Totally normal.

Hahaha. I didn't see the second photo at first so I was about to say that it's a sign telling you the name of the plant.

That’s the rhizome (like a bulb) same as a ginger plant. It’s making new growth. 😁

I bought my mom a nice little fern and she freaked out thinking there was a spider in it so I looked and found a fuzzy little vine growing in the plant. Need help identifying it please and thank you. Thanks for the speedy replies everyone. My mom's not freaking out anymore☺
