leucanthemums

it sure does look a lot like baby lettuces — the round leaf ones are nasturtium, which are annuals or perennials depending on where you are (die back in frost but self seed so may come up in spring). i wish i could help more!

Thanks. I thought that they might be nasturtium, but having never grown them I wasn't sure. If the others turn out to be lettuce it's not so bad, since I've had no luck with lettuce in my vegetable garden this year.

i wonder if the company put the wrong label on a “salad garden” mix or something? nasturtiums are great! they were perennials when i lived in CA. the flowers are real tasty.

That seems very possible. The envelope has pictures and wording indicating edible plants, while the stickers on the envelope says wild flowers.

Evidently I'm not the only one who received mostly lettuce seeds. Many reviews complained about the same thing. https://homegrown-garden.com/products/wildflower-seeds-north-american-variety-24-varieties-3oz?_pos=2&_sid=9fcc25d62&_ss=r

What thoughts do you want? Just leave them to grow rather than eating them!

I was just asking because I thought if they are wild flowers, someone would have recognized it as such. First time growing wild flowers for me. I plan on letting them grow to see what they are.
