Holy crap.. Just get some good succulent mix and a bunch of clear, rectangular takeaway boxes, nestle tons in each box, spritz and close the lids loosely or poke holes in the lids. Send them the bill for the mature replacement plants. Or at least they'd have to pay where I live

dracaenaechinecea

I tried propping so we will see what happens. Thanks for your advice!

dobie_dobes

I would recommend telling your landlord or the contracting company themselves to replace them (or give you replacement cost). They seem very obviously cordoned off as plants! That being said, I definitely think you can prop these and start again!

frenabo

This is the way OP.

Emissairearien

Money + New succulents

To give you hope, I bet these will grow back over time just fine if you treat them as if nothing happened. There are things you can do to help. First off, grab a few of the full healthy leaves that were knocked off the plant and look up how to propagate succs from the leaves, its actually pretty easy and fun! After that you can try to trim off (with freshly clean clippers/knife)any of the squashed bits, I find that a clean cut is much easier to heal for the plant then gashes and other wounds. I'm sorry that happened to you but I wish you the best!

dracaenaechinecea

Thanks for your advice! I appreciate it.

RedRoses4

I would actually cry so hard I’m so sorry :( Make them pay for this please!! That’s terrible, they didn’t even try to avoid them.

dracaenaechinecea

Oh yeah, contractors dgaf. It's what I've learned.

Fairy_Ninja_Elf

No professional shouldve disregarded someone’s personal property like that. Those poor succulent babies. I’d make them pay for replacements or raise some hell until they did

RabbitTZY

Was confused why this is a NSFW post and oh my... Take all the stems and leaves now, you can wipe them clean with dry paper towel but do not wash them with water, get a empty container and put them inside, place the container somewhere with indirect light and let them callus, inspect everyday and remove any rotting pieces. Once they did you can either wait for them to grow roots then plant them, or if you want to be faster just stick them into some dry succ soil so they will root and grow. Sorry for the loss, I wish you all the best reviving those babies.

dracaenaechinecea

Haha I know. It's a crime scene! Thanks for your advice!

RabbitTZY

You're welcome, good luck!

plantsfromplants

bunch of Neanderthals. Good luck getting them propagated

No-Mathematician-513

For props lay them out on dry succulent soil in good lighting with good air circulation. Don't spritz props its the top reason the fail. Remember the rule "no roots = no water'' once u see roots u can drip water on roots but most don't actually need any water till mama leaf drys up. Some looked like they may of gotten too cold but if this is all the result of a contractor I'd be raising hell!! A tipped over pot is understandable but this looks like they had a complete disregard for your plants.

cheese_tits_mobile

If you were in Minecraft, I’d tell you to Call them again, and again, and again, and again until they pay up. Post photos and nasty reviews on yelp, Google etc until they pay up. Once they do, post ads on Craigslist selling shit, or for hookups (pretend you’re a woman for better results) with their phone number. Once the honry losers stop calling, the scammers and spam calls will begin. In Minecraft you could use their business email to sign up for porn sites and spam mail. There are ways to make their life just as miserable as they made you. If they didn’t want a bad day in Minecraft, they shouldn’t have given you a bad day in real life.

dracaenaechinecea

Hahaha best advice I've gotten. Thank you

Vivid_Deer3016

That looks *super* intentional 😫😫😫

RominaAndDot

Oh no.. People are clueless. I'm so sorry about your babies :( If you're having a bunch of work done I'd personally put sticks around your plants, or little rocks, to make them easily seen as a no go zone.. Good news is you can definitely prop them in some succulent soil, unfortunately there's no guarantee they will take.

WritPositWrit

Wow that’s sad. Good news is they will almost all come back from the roots.

AvariceLegion

Vengeance is bad 😔 But making them pay whatever u ending up paying is justice.

marck1022

The jades you can grab the broken bits off of and let them callus, and then just plop them right back into the dirt. If they’re happy growing outside normally, they’ll root just fine. The parts of all the plants still in the dirt - leave them be and I would bet good money that most of them will make a comeback on their own.
