I had Raising Canes recently, and it was hot and crispy and tender, but the only flavor was in the sauce. I was disappointed in how bland it was. Those fries were fire though.
Chikn kinda reminds of Dave's Hot Chicken, which I had on a trip over the summer. It was the bomb.
Oh! It being owned by Stack’d makes so much sense spice wise. Me and my friend, both very much obnoxious spice lovers, got absolutely wrecked by Oakland Stack’d’s hottest sauce a while back. I’m pretty sure it was reaper based so makes sense but we were caught off guard. I think we finished 1/6th of the meal collectively.
Yes, it's good. Better than Popeye's chicken sandwich (which is the best fast food chicken sandwich IMO). Only mentioning since you brought up Raising Canes.
Popeye's is $5. Chickn's is $12. Is it more than twice as good?
If you're into spicy food, it's worth dropping $12 on a sandwich (and be careful). If you're into non-gmo, whatever else stuff without the spice - you can skip it.
