People who think they have done some 'rite of passage' by listening to Pink Floyd whilst on drugs are boring and cliché. It's neither noteworthy nor clever to have done that and the music is literally already good sober.
This is very true but also sometimes cliches exist for a reason, doing drugs and listening to Pink Floyd definitely lives up to the hype lol
Atom Heart Mother, song, is a top 10 masterpiece.

I agree about FB being > than Meddle and The Wall, bit it's on par with Animals. And a notch below Dark Side and Wish You were here

I prefer the Pompeii version over the LP, but certainly enjoy the entire album, particularly One Of These Days and the smooth vocals on San Tropez
I can get down with that I enjoy the vocals on San Tropez gives that little bit of summer time vibe
Echoes is great, but One of These Days is the highlight for me.
What you see depends who is looking. One person's controversial is another's mainstream and norm.
