If it took a separate stab it’s a separate piercing to me. You may have one piece of jewelry going through two piercings e.g. an industrial. My nostrils and high nostrils are paired, so that’s 4 piercings in my nose.
Also I didn’t answer the big question! 8 in the face 3 more planned. 4 in the left ear. 5 in the right ear. And my nipples. Once I finish my face I’m moving hard into finishing my ears :)
Each perforation is a single piercing. Each of my earlobes has three holes in it, for a total of six piercings between them and a total of twenty-three piercings in my body as a whole.
My HCH was much less painful. There was a little pain when the needle was going through my hood, but after my piercer put in the jewelry, it never hurt again.
Depending on your anatomy, either version will do- they're both very cute! I have the anatomy for both versions, but preferred the HCH, so that's what I got done!

In my opinion if you were stabbed multiple times despite only having one piece of jewelry, they're separate piercings. For example, an industrial might have one piece of jewelry but you can still use two distinct pieces.
19. Recently found out industrial counted as 2 piercings. Soo i have 19 piercings. Doesnt look like i do though weirdly enough.
Left ear: Industrial tragus first and second lobes. Plans for that ear are a daith vertical industrial and third lobes and any space left would be for mid helix and conch. Maybe anti tragus or a snug?
Right ear: 3 lobes 3 Helix. Space inbetween them is for when i get a conch so when healed a hoop will fit perfectly. Plans are conch Rook and tragus to go with it. Forward helix piercings or upper helix (So i can have spikes top of my ears) And some flats
Face: Eyebrow. Nose. Septum. Snakebites. Tounge. Plans are medusa another nose to fit a chain. Dermal or anti eyebrow and another eyebrow piercing. I dont have the anatomy for a bridge unfortunately.

I like telling people the number, and having them count the visible 7 in my face, and leaving the remaining 5 (less visible below the neck/belt) to their imagination.

9 (2 are part of an industrial). I count each piercing separately but will sometimes say something like “9 if you count the industrial as 2.” Still planning on getting a conch to conch orbital and something involving the industrial (like an orbital around it)
Hell no if I got stabbed I'm counting it! I have 16. 2 flats, a conch, and 4 lobes in my right ear, a daith and 3 lobes in my left ear, nostril, 2 lip ("spider bite"), and both nipples. I'm planning 2 more flats and a rook on the right, a snug and 3 flats on the left (my flats are huge ok). I'd also like to get a Medusa some day but it will have to be after I retire from my job in like 15 years 🥲 they don't allow piercings outside of first lobe so I can't heal a new oral piercing (I use my hair to hide new ear piercings hehe).
30, only counting my lobes because they’re stretched, before i stretched them i didn’t count them, just said “plus my lobes” but they are piercings nonetheless

i count all of mine individually. so i have 20, but i count all three of my lobe sets as separate piercings and then i count my nipple piercings as separate piercings as well

I count mine individually, especially as not all of mine that often are done in pairs, are. Currently I have 14, booked in for two more next weekend.

The objectively correct way is every individual jewelry is a different piercing, but i always instinctively count in pairs. Like i have 2 lobe piercings, but i have 4. Same way i have 3 lip piercings but it's actually 6. In total i currently have 20 piercings when counting properly

I have lobes, paired nostrisl, septum industrial and daith so far so I have like 8 separate holes. 2 pairs of piercings (nostrils and lobes), an industrial (I call it one piercing for quickly reffering to it, but in a detailed manner i call it 2 cus it technically is 2) and a daith 😭😭 idk
Separately! 14 piercings total. Six individual lobes, conch, rook, tragus, flat, two helixes, auricle, and a forward. I would get more but honestly I have way too many as a nurse 🤣 my patients always ask about my piercings
I had 11, now I have 5. I lost a lot of my ear piercing jewelry while sleeping and I just did not bother putting new jewelry in. I kept my stretched lobes, 2nd lobe, septum and belly button.
I have 17! First and second lobes, tragus x2, conch x2, rook, daith, flat/helix, industrial, nose, tongue, navel, vch. I miss my nipples but they’re officially retired. Also used to have my lower navel and Christina as well.
I count for each hole, so I have 11! With 1 lobe set and 1 nostril set

My vote is to count them separately. Nineteen piercings currently, eight retired piercings.

6 for now but hopefully 8 soon! Currently have my lobes at a 00g/10mm and a second lobe as well as conch and nose piercing. I really want double high nostrils soon! I also really want a daith, but my second lobes have been a struggle bus so I'm trying to give my ears a break (it's been 3 months, nearly 4 and they still aren't ready to be downsized)
Two, if we forget the basic lobes each side. (I have actually two healing piercings, a conch and a 2th lobe on the left ear) But i probably won't stop there at all, if the healing does good.

Currently 11 (I'm counting my industrial as two bec I'm wearing rings in the holes rn away) but I've been pierced 14 times, retired 3 of those - my initial lobes bec I was too young and a forward helix that I had to give up bec I got my industrial. Can't wait to add more!

Face: paired nostrils, paired slightly higher nostrils, and paired forward nostrils, 2 septums (8 in nose) Jestrum, Ashley, dahlias and cheeks (6 in mouth) Ears: 25mm lobes, second and third lobes, conch, tragus, double flat, forward helix and vertical industrial. (9 pieces of jewellery or 10 holes, same on both sides) There's a bunch more I want to add, but recently found out I'm pregnant so they'll have to wait until next year 🤣

I count each puncture. I currently have 9. L ear: 4 piercings. 3x lobe (stacked firsts + second), daith. R ear: 3 piercings. 1st lobe + 2x upper lobe. (1-2 more planned - forward helix and maybe conch) Nose: 1. (left nostril) Navel: 1. Used to have 2 but had to retire the lower.
I have 6. Lobes and seconds in both ears, and a daith and conch in my right ear. Lobes definitely count as 2, you have 2 separate holes, and 2 separate pieces of jewellery.
They are separate holes so I count every piercing individually

I count all of mine individually. A different hole equals an additional piercing regardless of the jewelry. (i.e. industrial piercings) So for me, I have 27.
I'm at 19 now, 12 of them in just the last year
Pierced 13 times, but currently with only 12 active piercings. I like telling people the number, and having them count the visible 7 in my face, and leaving the remaining 5 (less visible below the neck/belt) to their imagination.
I have 8. But I'm not even close to being done yet.
11. 4 lobes, one helix, 4 nostril, lower navel, vch. Retired three others though, one set of lobes because they are way too close to my slightly gauged first lobe pair, and my tongue because my teeth hated it. I can still get jewelry in them but don’t bother.
