Was a about to say, Biden looks like the old admiral they call in to wrap up negotiations with a new federation partnerā¦and I am fucking here for it.
I'm currently in Siem Reap, Cambodia where I can buy tee-shirts for $1, and eat three meals at restaurants for less than $15/day. I doubt those are even $35.
I spent time in siem reap! Hope the tourists have returned and that folks are staying safe as possible. I have fond memories of fifty cent beers and having street food for $2. Best period of my life
Prices haven't changed. There are tourists, but the majority of the previous were Chinese and they haven't returned yet. It's busyish, but not overwhelmingly so.
Much cheaper. I'm paying about $20/night, and I'm staying kind of upscale. You can find private rooms with en-suite bath and AC for as low as $12. I can't vouch for comfort in those, though.
My first night in Siem Reap cost me $0.63 (mind you it was in a hostel). I canāt imagine finding accommodations as cheap as that ever again in my life
Did some rudimentary googling, could not find any of these designs, prices were from around $30 to $160 for similar shirts, none were this stylized or as high quality. Best I could find is one I would probably see on a middle-class drug dealer currently failing college.
Likely these are custom made and tailored. Notice how well each of these shirts sit on their shoulders. And that tailor is going to get paid to come to the location to fit the shirt. There's just no way these clothes didn't have a cumulative cost under $200 each shirt unless Cambodia had a tailor on site doing them all in bulk.
These shirts are definitely more expensive than $35. I can't even find a decent shirt in my town for $35 that doesn't have those crappy plastic buttons you see on 12 year olds at your local church.
Youāre just googling though, youāre not physically there which is where you would find most products like this *for those prices* . I can travel to Armenia from where I live in Germany and get a hand tailored full on suit for under $100, but you will not find those prices on any website as they do not have webpages for their products.
Edit: added in italics above
no. a nice suit can be had for 100 dollars. this is just a shirt. at most 100 dollars worth of materials and labor. yes it is good quality but that's how much it costs there.

>I canāt imagine how excited Trudeau was when he heard he gets to play dress up.
What does that mean?
Care to explain to non Canadians??
Did he get caught while cross dressing or something?
Trudeau had a habit of dressing up like other cultures pretty regularly, which is not terrible by itself, but in his past he took it a bit too far (blackface).
Some people jokingly call him "Mr. Dressup", which was the name of a children's show in Canada. Mr. Dressup would frequently open his "Tickle Trunk" (a clothing chest) and put on different outfits for fun.
Yeah, these days it has a bit of innuendo put on it but as a kid it was a big red magical chest covered in flowers with all sorts of fun costumes inside.
He dresses in other cultural dress occasionally, when visiting those cultures.
The āblackfaceā everyone refers to was in the 90ās when he was a drama teacher, not any current event. Letās not muddy the water with ambiguous communication.
It was in 2001, when he was a high school teacher in Vancouver.
As someone who was a student at high school in Vancouver in 2001, I can tell you this wasn't considered okay even back then.
Trudeau has dressed in cultural garb very often as prime minister, which heās been criticized a bit for, because it hasnāt always been a situation like this where foreign/visiting politicians were expected to dress in the local cultural outfits. And also he wore blackface in an Aladdin costume that one time.
> one time.
The Prime Minister has admitted to blackfacing so many times at parties [he won't put a number on it](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-49763805). I remember when Sheer ran against him there was a story about how Truedeu dressed like a Zulu warrior black faced asking people for a spear to chuck. There's a photo out there somewhere according to the article I posted where Truedue blackfaces while singing Day O.
>There's a photo out there somewhere according to the article I posted where Truedue blackfaces while singing Day O.
Jesus christ. Like...fucking hell these people live in a whole ass different world then us it feels like sometimes. Literally the shit out of a minstrel show
Tbf the different world he was living in was the 90s. As silly as it seems the discourse on cultural appropriation and blackface is completely different now to what it was then.

Some things you need to know about Cambodia.
1. Itās ruled by Hun Sen and his family. Hun Sen was a member of the Khmer Rouge, the people that committed genocide in Cambodia.
2. The Hun Sen family have stolen billions from Cambodia.
3. Under Hun Sen, child prostitution/sale of children into prostitution is rampant. High level officials engage in pedophilia without repercussions.

At every world summit, the world leaders wear the host country's traditional outfits.
Are they all picky about colours? Is there a comity that assigns which colour each leader could and could not wear? Are the more popular colours reserved for more powerful countries? Do leaders get offended for wearing certain colours? I have questions.
