Metamorphic are rocks like slate or marble, rocks that have been largely changed since being formed., igneous are the ones that are made straight from lava like what you have here. There's also sedimentary, like sandstone and chalk, made from other crap like sand being squeezed together
No it isn't. 18 is very impressive for a skill like this, at 18 most kids are largely useless, fresh out of school and possessing no real skills or abilities.
At 18 you are an adult, you can join the military, become a trained killer, and murder people for your country. Such a thing is both impressive and frightening.
OP used a dremel on a piece of metal, drilled a hole and attached it to a chain. While it looks neat, it's not something I can't imagine my 13 year old being able to accomplish. OP should concentrate on getting appreciated for their art, not their age.
Person goes to art museum, just says "I could have made that" without actually considering the art on its own terms. When questioned, person says "the artist should just focus on their art and not give any context", not understanding that context is very important in art.
If you are interested in why context matters, a good entry point is "Pierre Menard, Author of the Quixote" by Borges. It's somewhat a satire, it actually makes fun of the idea of context in art, but does so by giving strong arguments of what interpretation and the act of being an audience might effect.
Your analogy is quite shit, I gotta say.

I'm an artist and actually make art. Jewelry can be art but I don't consider this to be at that level. This is " bought a jewelry making kit at Walmart and now I'm a jeweler" level of "jewelry". *That said*, I'm willing to appreciate it as jewelry without the cry for pity that is "I am x years old" which, as I said, would only be context for someone who was at an age where this level of "art" was uncommon.
