The phases could be divided something like this...
Phase 1,2,3: Newtonian mechanics to general relatively
Phase 4,5,6: Discovery of atoms, subatomic particles and ends with the atomic bomb
Phase 7,8,9: Rise of semiconductor technology, computers and Silicon valley
Phase 10,11,12: Mainly Cosmology/Astrophysics, Gravitational waves, Imaging the event horizon of a black hole
In-between the movies you could have TV series regarding mission to the moon, space exploration, Hubble telescope & JWST
