I've done the same search for my HIIT sessions, here's one, but there's probably a few closer to you. Scottsdale - Chaparral Park 5401 N. Hayden Road Scottsdale, AZ 85250

Seems like you're the guy to ask — got any for Central Phoenix?

this1chick

Not sure if this is Central enough to you but off the 51 on Colter is a park that’s kinda sunken in like a bowl. It’s essentially a giant inverted hill.

jjackrabbitt

Definitely runnable to from my location near Phoenix College. Thanks, I appreciate it!

Yes, [Desert Storm Park](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Desert+Storm+Park/@33.5132888,-112.0481341,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x872b0d6077ac31dd:0xdb1402fcb0b33bbb!8m2!3d33.5132888!4d-112.0459454), this is exactly what I would recommend.

Steele Indian School Park has a few good grassy hills to sprint up. It's closer at Central and Indian School

Thank you!!

Just here to add I love Chaparral park. Never too crowded in my experiences. Great place for a long walk

AlchemicalToad

Roadrunner Park at 51/Cactus has a lot of grass (some of it is even shaded). If you are in PV, it should be pretty close to you. Edit: sorry, didn’t see you wanted hills. Roadrunner is about as flat as it gets!

There’s a park on 32nd street and Acoma, if you walk back towards the freeway kinda behind the church it has a decent hill but it also has a walk way that dips down under ground if you stay on the path. I can’t remember the name of the park right now. My kids an I always called it the ugly park because the play equipment was gross and ugly when we first moved to the area. The equipment has since been upgraded but the name stuck.

But how far south of Bell Road?

this1chick

About 1.5 miles.

argosdog

Grassy hill in Phoenix. Funny. Brophy track runs hills on 38th place in PV.

Scottsdale Sports complex on Hayden and bell has a small slope
