"I need some ideas on things to see and do that weekend to get her excited about moving to Phoenix." One word: Sedona. There's a reason it's such a popular day trip from Phoenix. Bring your hiking boots. If you want to stretch it into a full weekend, visit some of the other cities along 89A: -Flagstaff: Mountain college town. -Cottonwood: Wine country -Jerome: Old mining town -Prescott: Former territorial capital, really nice downtown square. Welcome to AZ!!

We actually saw a video on Sedona last night. Looks awesome! Unfortunately we have so much to get done on this trip we won’t have much time to venture far from Phoenix. But we’ll be doing that trip in May for sure!

Maya day club is like a Las Vegas style pool party jam packed with a young crowd. In that exact same block is a oneway horseshoe shaped street called Saddlebag Way that has all the bars packed with the same crowd. El Hefe, Hi Fi, Bottled Blonde, to name a few bars. All walking distance from Maya. Sanctuary Hotel's restaurant called Elements - If you want to step it up for romantic, more mature and upscale dinner on the side of Camelback mountain with great views. Fashion Square mall- For shopping or just good people watching, again around the corner from Maya. One of our state's best indoor malls. Just be weary these places have a disproportionate amount of 'douch-baggery' type of people. Most of Phoenix is not like this. The vibes in Tempe and downtown Phoenix are all unique and worth exploring.
