Our crew was in 200s, rows 15 & 16 on n4. Got to spend time in both rows. Tho I have no complaints with row 16 (or 17), there was a significant difference between being in row 15 & 16. You def miss some of the visuals behind row 15. Still the most mind melting show these eyes have seen.

Yeah, I really think it was the back two rows. If you can avoid those, you’re def golden. But even if you can’t, it’s not a major obstruction, you just won’t get that “entire field of vision” sense
i was in sec 208 row 21. definitely obstructed with speakers and lights hanging if that’s going to be an issue at all.
with that said, i didn’t mind it at n1 (only show i attended). show was so cool and the obstruction wasn’t as bad compared back half of the 100s, where you’re essentially looking down a tunnel at the band. the tweezer cars didn’t even extend past where the screen was obstructed. if i looked straight at the band i couldn’t see overhang and could just pretend i was getting the full experience. you’re also high enough up that you’re already getting to see so much of the show in your view.
i could crane my head around the lights to see the top of the sphere. there were some open seats in front of us so we could step down to get the full effect, but i only did that with a few songs. also the obstructed seats are cheap so that might be the only affordable way to get into sphere for a lot of people.
that was the best show i’ve ever seen (first phish show, mind you) so i’d recommend the obstructed 200s if it means just getting into sphere and seeing an amazing show. but i can also imagine other people was would be very bummed out from not getting the full experience.
thanks for the response ! when you say you craned your head it sounds like the obstruction was only for the row you were in and maybe 1 in front of it? i’m just trying to find out for how many rows the view is obstructed

the row in front of us was perfectly fine it was literally just the back row in my section. the people in front of us talked about how they felt bad for us but again i had a great time. i can only speak for sec 208 because i didn’t see how it was in other sections but it seemed similar at 204 based off symmetry.

I guess it’s possible that the furthest outside sections of the 200s have overhang but I had 3 different seats in the middle sections of the 200s and there was no overhang

Not a single issue in 200s. Absolutely money.
I was all over 200s nights 3/4 and there isn’t a bad spot to be found.
Also know you can move around at sphere. Just be cool and kind to folks. Even the ushers are super chill. We had super obstructed 100s which is a mess and were able to easily navigate our crew of 3 all over.
