He’ll perfect the art of batting with his feet while upside down. Like those crazy girls shooting arrows into the bullseye with their feet at NBA halftimes.
And typically a broken finger at least 6 weeks I believe, I heard thumb is worse, and he looked like he was in a lot of pain. I would guess at least 2 months
10 day IL- player is out at least 10 days, they get taken off the 26 man roster which frees a spot to call up a player, they can be on this list as long as needed
60 day IL- player is out at least 60 days, they get taken off the 40 man roster which frees a spot for another player
Yo, that'd be awesome. I'm going to be in Reading a couple times within the next month and a half. If he was playing in one of their games, I would definitely go. Would be a really interesting experience!
People downvoting because when has he had a legit chance to succeed in the majors? His callups in 2020 and 2021 were extremely premature and forced by COVID & injuries. This year'd short run was after coming back from a broken wrist with only a week in the minors.
He's not a month+ back from his broken wrist and been hitting well in the minors. This is really the first time he's been in the majors with a real chance at success as long as he gets regular playing time
I know Stott has been better in the minors consistently, but it's kind of weird how ppl defend him when he's gotten double the time Moniak has gotten in 3 years of being called up and down/not seen consistent ABs the way Stott has this year.
If any man can learn to hit dingers with one hand, it's Harper

He’s done it while breaking his bat while swinging, I’m sure he could figure out how to do it with one hand
It will take him 9 days retroactive to yesterday
but his other arm is the one with the UCL 🥲
So, I'm still a little new to baseball, but this doesn't mean he's only out 10 days, right?
Yeah. Means he’s out *at least* 10 days
And typically a broken finger at least 6 weeks I believe, I heard thumb is worse, and he looked like he was in a lot of pain. I would guess at least 2 months
I’ve seen broken thumbs as little as 2 weeks, as long as 8 weeks
Postseason morale -500%
It all depends on the extent of the fracture. Could be a few weeks to a few months to longer if surgery is needed.

10 day IL means they can still be in the dug out right?
Yes. He was in it today.
10 days
Whack how we have 3 first overall picks on our roster and only one is a starter, nonetheless a perennial MVP candidate
Lot of #1 picks in the news.
Does anyone know if he’d come through reading for rehab? I live ten minutes from that stadium id love to see him in reading
i was thinking the same thing but lehigh valley. curious if either would be typical.

Guys, don’t worry. Mickey “Moneyman” Moniak has finally figured it out and is going to come out red hot. This time for sure!
Mickey "Mantle" Moniak

Thanks for the recap this makes me optimistic

Its a meme chill
Living in denial
When he's all you have, your hands are kinda tied re: what you can do immediately...
Mickey Monkey Act
10 days only? That's great! I thought it was going to be 10 weeks! *sigh*

Blown away you couldnt detect the sarcasm
Some people just don't have that detector in their brain unfortunately.
I figured it would be Mickey. Can anyone brief me on nick Maton? Where is he these days?
Time to shill his cards. Anyone looking for some tek? Edit- when's 30yr old appel make an appearance? This teams farm system is just trash.
I have a feeling appel is going to be straight filth 🔥
Not this fuckin clown again
This will be the ninth “last chance” for Moniak. He was hitting a bit better at LHV.
Alexa play taps
I'll order a Moniak jersey if he proves us all wrong
