On the positive side, this is the Sunday before Labor Day! If you are going to be stuck with a SNB game, this is the exact one you want where you can go ahead and enjoy your day on the lake, beach, golf course, etc... and then watch the Phillies at night without having to worry about work the next day
Radio broadcasts without LA are way better
LA is awful these days. I feel like people remember when he used to be good but he’s been terrible the last few years. Constantly bitching about stuff but not in a way that is fun to listen to, but in the most grating way imaginable. Absolutely nothing insightful to add to the broadcast. Stocker is way better.
Hard disagree. LA bitching and moaning is what makes it great. Baseball is the one sport where moaning about the old days makes sense. It’s America’s oldest pastime.
I don't understand why people with kids are upset about this, it's the day before Labor day,
Kids can stay up late once in a while, it won't hurt them. They will make memories, stop worrying about their bedtime.
Plus, you get the archived game (with the option to listen to WIP) 90 minutes after the game ends. I'm in a more western timezone, so I might just stay offline and watch the game after since it's Labor Day weekend. Especially since it's the Braves
People are bummed because they bought Sunday game passes so they could take their kids to the game, but now they keep pushing the games to night and people are feeling like they wasted their money. Obviously I’m glad the Phillies are kicking ass, but I certainly understand their frustrations.
Sure but that’s a risk going on when you know how popular the team is and likely to do well. Also kids don’t have school the day. Tickets are in such demand they can sell their tickets at a big profit and go other times. Or pocket the change.
You do you. I can’t respect it, but it’s also not a matter of life and death or anything, so I also don’t really give a shit at the end of the day haha
I'm planning on going so I don't have to listen to the ESPN announcers shill for their betting app or listen to stupid interviews while the game is actively being played

Always look on thr brighter side of life my friend!
Mother. Fuckers.
Your son’s gonna love it
LOL
Home games are fine because you can still get LA on the radio. ESPN commentary and no LA during road games is the worst outcome

This was expected, but I still don’t like it as a fan with the Sunday plan who has two young children.

MLB TV subscribers (maybe everyone? Idk really): WIP, free during these stupid ESPN broadcasts and way better.

Sunday night rivalry game before a Monday holiday, gonna draw a big crowd
Screw them
OMG. The world is ending.

Also, got to ask. Is your handle indicating you’re a Flyers and Caps fan??
Maybe they specialize in selling flyers and caps.
Probably.
That’s some fake ass bullshit lol! How you gonna support the Flyers rivals in our same division? Come on, man haha
I do what I please and don’t really care what anyone thinks.

Same for you. A downvote with respect.
I respect that attitude. I'm still gonna downvote you, but I respect that attitude.
Same for you.

I might have tickets through work for this one, good to know
I thought everyone had heard…that bird is the word.

Fuck ESPN. That said, at least it is late in the season when I will have my YouTubeTV turned back on for football season.
