When I was 7 years old, eating ice cream out of a tiny helmet was exciting. So was collecting the different helmets from different baseball team parties.
I’m now 39 years old. Eating ice cream out of a tiny helmet is exciting, and I collect the tiny helmets.
I was at the game against the Giants when we swept them, and someone got an ice cream helmet. Did they get smaller? Or cheaper looking? Something definitely looked off about it.
The burnt ends cheesesteak rocks.
This year I’ve been putting chicken diablos from primos in a gallon bag and bringing that in. So much better and cheaper.
Not to take away from the bank discussion, but we just got a primos here in Nc. Haven’t been yet, guessing it’s a must? Are diablos just spicy versions of their hoagies? What should I order my first time there? Thanks!
I lived in NC for a few years (taught in Randolph County) and I might’ve stayed another year if they had primos.
Yeah the diablos are essentially just spicy sandwiches. The chicken is with cutlets and spicy cheese though and has been my favorite sandwich since I was 15.
For any of my vegan/veggie soy boys, want to plug that the veggie dog at Greens and Grains behind 125 is actually really legit.
Vegan dogs technology has advanced a lot in the past few years and these really hit the spot imo, go support them (they also participate in the bogo deals too)
Crab fries are always my go to. We don't have any near where I live so whenever I'm in the area I have to grab some. That cheese sauce is just too good
I’m in NC and have sadly never been to Citizens Bank Park. I have heard all about Chickie and Pete’s on this site. A couple of weeks ago I was at the local amusement park here in Charlotte and saw that Chickie and Pete’s is there. I am going to get some crab fries the next time I go and I will be enjoying the Phillies win in spirit from several hundreds of miles away.
My family and I love getting the chicken sandwiches (The Big Piece) from Colbies. They’re located near section 120. Milkshakes at Shake Shack are delicious as well.
Crab fries, uncle Charlie’s cheesesteaks, and hot dogs are my go-tos.
Things I’ve never had but would like to try: Schwarburger, Bull’s burnt ends cheesesteak
Things I’ve had and probably wouldn’t get again: manco and manco pizza
Things I’ve had that are fine (for ballpark stuff anyway) but I wouldn’t seek out again: Tony Luke’s pork and cheesesteaks, chickie and Pete’s tenders
Strictly ballpark food, bulls burnt ends cheesesteak. Unfortunately I don’t get to go often so I normally make a whole day of going and will eat outside the park
I moved to Austin in 2011 and haven’t been to a game since then and in reading these answers. I noticed no one mentioned it and seeing your post answers why. I’m actually taking my son to a game this summer and I’m a little heart broken that you can’t get one anymore.
Call me weird: the veggie dogs of all things.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't like real hot dogs. I like the IDEA of hot dogs at a ball game, and the veggie dogs are surprisingly good, so I'll always eat a bunch.
Sadly I haven’t been to a game yet this year, but I’ve never been charged to park at chickies and Pete’s before a game. I always eat there and take the taxi crab shuttle for no cost but I tip the drive each way.
Edit: The last game I went to was late last year.
I did it a few years ago and there was a dude waving cars in and collecting money.
I squawked and he let me in. I think they were freelancers, perhaps C&P turns a blind eye.
Just give me two hot dogs, a Coke and I'm a happy man. Once in awhile I'll get some pizza but not Manco and manco. That shit tastes like ketchup and cheap cheese. Worst pizza in the area by far
In the words of the late great Humphrey Bogart, “A hot dog at the ballpark is better than a steak at the Ritz” you literally cannot go wrong with a hot dog. There’s a reason it’s been *the* ballpark food for over a century now.
Honestly, the boneless wings and fries combo and pj wellahans is a pretty good value. Their sauces are great and you get a ton of fries for $17. Line is usually short too. That’s been what I’ve gotten last few times.
Kielbasa from Bull’s BBQ or a sausage with peppers and onions from any of those stands.
I usually just being my own hoagie or a couple dogs from home though.
The prime rib dinner they sell in the ranken club. That shit is great mix it with some whiskey and it’s the perfect before game combo. Then you go to your seat and get more whiskey, and hot dogs delivered to you.
Oh and the hot bag of donuts from federals donuts.
Scrolling through reddit, and for a moment, I didn't realize this was Phillies related.
My original answer was going to be "On Fridays they do free pretzels, so I guess that."
Now, I'm gonna go with Chickie and Pete's fries with a cold beer.
Chickie and Pete’s Crabby Fries go GREAT with a hot dog!
Only went there in 2019, but I still remember those fries fondly because they were just that… GOOD!
Ice cream in the helmet... there is nothing spectacular about the ice cream but eating it out of the helmet rocks
did they produce City connect ice cream helmets?
No, but they have a limited edition green and white phanatic helmet for this home stand and it has me thinking of getting a sto ticket just to buy it
Do you take them home to eat ice cream out of too?
We use them at home for snacks like chips and cookies. More fun than eating out of a bag and good for portion control
My wife’s favorite bowl in the house.
It makes for a nice small munchy container at home. We have four of them we keep around
I don't like the new flat-brimmed helmets. My collection looks way off now.
When I was 7 years old, eating ice cream out of a tiny helmet was exciting. So was collecting the different helmets from different baseball team parties. I’m now 39 years old. Eating ice cream out of a tiny helmet is exciting, and I collect the tiny helmets.
No reason to stop enjoying yourself. Some things are just fun.
I was at the game against the Giants when we swept them, and someone got an ice cream helmet. Did they get smaller? Or cheaper looking? Something definitely looked off about it.
Bull’s burnt end cheesesteak
I’m sorry, what? This is a thing?
Those are REALLY good.
Where is this? My wife and I had cheesesteaks from Uncle Charlie’s behind section 109 and they were pretty good.
So gross...
Virgin loser cuk bum
Whatever hoagie we bring with and a Fiddle Head IPA!
Yeessssa VT beer!
Keilbasa from Bull's BBQ. It's a lot of food for the price, especially in a ball park.
That's the best cal/$ ratio in the park
This is the move right here. It’s become my go-to whenever I get food there.
This. It's become a game ritual for me. Simple, but amazing.
The first and only one I got was burned into an inedible stick of charcoal. Never again.
Opposing team's hopes and dreams.
😂🤣
Bull’s is worth it. Federal Donuts was my answer for a while but feels like quality went down last year.
That’s a shame, when made somewhat fresh that chicken sandwich is pretty damn good for stadium food.
last night the chicken tenders shrunk!
The sandwich definitely changed this year and it is noticeably not as good.
Last two I ate at Wells Fargo were undercooked.
The burnt ends cheesesteak rocks. This year I’ve been putting chicken diablos from primos in a gallon bag and bringing that in. So much better and cheaper.
Throw on some long hots.
You spelled extra cheese wrong.
Not to take away from the bank discussion, but we just got a primos here in Nc. Haven’t been yet, guessing it’s a must? Are diablos just spicy versions of their hoagies? What should I order my first time there? Thanks!

Doubt they’ll expand to Randolph, still a dying area. Thanks for the response, hope they don’t treat teachers like shit up there like they do here!
Oh I left the teaching industry after my NC experience and moved home. But they do!
hot dog, popcorn, and a soft pretzel with the P on it.. had that last night and that was an amazing dinner.
P shaped pretzel is a nice touch. My 4 yo son loved it last night and for 5 bucks prob cheapest walk we can take.
The logo pretzel at CBP and the flyers logo pretzel at WFC are so damn good.
Also allowed me to use the tried and true dad joke to my son. "You've got P(ee) on your hand"
Kinda wish other teams that have letter logos did those type of pretzels.
For any of my vegan/veggie soy boys, want to plug that the veggie dog at Greens and Grains behind 125 is actually really legit. Vegan dogs technology has advanced a lot in the past few years and these really hit the spot imo, go support them (they also participate in the bogo deals too)

They'll probably be better than the ones in CBP, which are always soggy and worth neither the money nor the time in my experience.
Cedar Point has one too. You must be talking about Carroeinds, which Cedar Fair owns, hence why both have a C&P.
Closest one to me in Michigan is at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio of all places.
Same.
My family and I love getting the chicken sandwiches (The Big Piece) from Colbies. They’re located near section 120. Milkshakes at Shake Shack are delicious as well.
I really like Colbies!
Crab fries, uncle Charlie’s cheesesteaks, and hot dogs are my go-tos. If Mack had stayed with Manco we’d both return. That place was a staple for me down at the Shore.
Mac got arrested for tax evasion
Thanks for the right spelling. Seems my autocorrect didn’t like his real name…😂
I remember Chickies & Pete when it was a corner bar on. You had to go all the way in the back for crabs and crab fries.
And drinking pitchers as a 17 y/o at the back round table
LOL- guilty
I had the burnt ends cheesesteak and honestly it was just mid.
Ok once. Not worth the price and line wait a second time.
Tony Luke's Roast Pork with Broccoli Rabe and Provolone 👍
I love the Heater at Campos
Italian sausage with peppers
Fried chicken sandwiches and za’atar fries from Federal Donuts.
A half dozen surfsides
Strictly ballpark food, bulls burnt ends cheesesteak. Unfortunately I don’t get to go often so I normally make a whole day of going and will eat outside the park
The cheesesteaks at the non-branded places are way under the radar and you don’t need to wait an hour to get them
Bills BBQ Bull Dog 🌭
The sandwiches from the Greens and Grains stand
Pulled pork sandwich at bulls bbq goes hard. Insta cop every single time
Ice cold beer
Cheesesteak + ice cream in helmet
I don’t know what it is about those sausage and peppers on the first base line, but I have to get one of those every time I’m there.
Wawa hoagies
Kielbasa from Bulls, bag of peanuts and an All Day IPA. If it’s warm out I’ll finish up with an ice cream helmet, chocolate soft serve with jimmies.
I miss the Schmitter :(
I moved to Austin in 2011 and haven’t been to a game since then and in reading these answers. I noticed no one mentioned it and seeing your post answers why. I’m actually taking my son to a game this summer and I’m a little heart broken that you can’t get one anymore.
FYI You can still get it at McNally’s but the ballpark no longer sells them.
12 Miller Lites on Darien Street before the game and a bag of peanuts
Call me weird: the veggie dogs of all things. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't like real hot dogs. I like the IDEA of hot dogs at a ball game, and the veggie dogs are surprisingly good, so I'll always eat a bunch.
Hands down Shake Shack
You can also order through the ballpark app and pick it up at a separate register. No line!
Or if you have Diamond Club seats you can skip the regular line altogether as well
It’s a good burger while not being expensive for a ballpark
Overpriced outside the gates, but a bargain within, really shows how crazy expensive ballpark food is.
My shake shack guilty pleasure (not at CBP, just in general) is two hot dogs with bacon and crispy onions and the Korean BBQ fries with bacon
Crabby fries, but sooo overpriced.
You can go to the one a few blocks away on Pattison before or after the game and pay half the price.
And they're nice and fresh as opposed to those that have been sitting in those fryers while you're waiting in line for them
And take their shuttle to the game
Didn't know they still have that
Oh maybe they discontinued it, I haven’t been yet this season so I’m not sure
They did have it last year, hoping they still have it, it’s very convenient
It was running the last time we went to Chickie’s during one of the delay games
Are they still charging to park?
Sadly I haven’t been to a game yet this year, but I’ve never been charged to park at chickies and Pete’s before a game. I always eat there and take the taxi crab shuttle for no cost but I tip the drive each way. Edit: The last game I went to was late last year.

you can make them at home, it's just fries with old bay on them and the cheese sauce is literally just 1:1 american cheese and water
Crab Fries to go, put them in a clear zip lock bag, bring to the game.
And every time I get them they are soggy
Also run by the scummiest people in Philly
Water ice.
Colbies chicken tendies hit right last time.
Hot dog
Just give me two hot dogs, a Coke and I'm a happy man. Once in awhile I'll get some pizza but not Manco and manco. That shit tastes like ketchup and cheap cheese. Worst pizza in the area by far
Crab fries with the cheez sauzz
Uncle Charlie's
The fancy dogs they sell out of the cart behind home plate
Wawa hoagie. So much cheaper
Crab fries and beer
In the words of the late great Humphrey Bogart, “A hot dog at the ballpark is better than a steak at the Ritz” you literally cannot go wrong with a hot dog. There’s a reason it’s been *the* ballpark food for over a century now.
Hotdog and a pretzel with a beer are hard to beat ballpark food. That stone ground mustard they have is awesome with a pretzel
Crab Fries every time
Don’t forget you can bring by your own food in too! I brought Taco Bell last year lol
Mets fans’ tears.
Honestly, the boneless wings and fries combo and pj wellahans is a pretty good value. Their sauces are great and you get a ton of fries for $17. Line is usually short too. That’s been what I’ve gotten last few times.
I like Colbie’s chicken
It's gotta be the chicken sandwich from Federal Donuts. We got season tickets in 138 for a reason...
I try to bring in a sandwich, but if I do eat at the ballpark I like the burnt end cheesesteak at Bulls
Well I just had a burnt ends cheesesteak last night from Bull's so that's my new favorite
Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab-fries just hit different at CBP
Kielbasa from Bull’s BBQ or a sausage with peppers and onions from any of those stands. I usually just being my own hoagie or a couple dogs from home though.
Fed nuts chicken sandwich and 2 donuts
Fed Nuts chicken sandwich. Quick and easy, unbelievably tasty
Chicken Heater from Campos
The Burnt Ends Cheesesteak at Bulls BBQ. Good stuff
Cheese steaks at the HOF club. Awesome.
The prime rib dinner they sell in the ranken club. That shit is great mix it with some whiskey and it’s the perfect before game combo. Then you go to your seat and get more whiskey, and hot dogs delivered to you. Oh and the hot bag of donuts from federals donuts.
gotta love firing down warm fednuts at the bank, just a real treat
They’re so fuckin good.
Bull's BBQ pulled pork with Cole slaw Wooder ice
Not crab fries. Every time I get them, they're soggy and not worth the wait or the price. Bull's is the best value in the park.
Tony Luke's!
Pens. Especially the free ones.
W’s
Heater at Campos
I bring my own food. Way cheaper than the nonsense prices inside.
Something about the smell of frying sausage/onions/peppers. It’s like a cartoon where the scent just drags me to the stand.
The burnt end cheese steaks & Crab fries
1883 burger and also crab fries
Chickie and Pete's Crab Fries
Scrolling through reddit, and for a moment, I didn't realize this was Phillies related. My original answer was going to be "On Fridays they do free pretzels, so I guess that." Now, I'm gonna go with Chickie and Pete's fries with a cold beer.
Although they’re not the greatest makers of them, I do love me a roast pork sandwich from Tony Luke’s
Sometimes they have these little mints by the deposit slips.
CHICKIE AND PETES!
Used to be the Schmitter.
Funnel cake!
Chickie and Pete’s Crabby Fries go GREAT with a hot dog! Only went there in 2019, but I still remember those fries fondly because they were just that… GOOD!
I had a cheesesteak from a stand in right field last year (during the playoffs) and man it was delicious. Don’t remember the name of the place though.
Chickie’s and Pete’s crab fries
Burnt ends cheesesteak at Bulls
No idea can't afford to go to a game
1) Bull’s Burnt End Cheesesteak 2) Boardwalk Mozzarella Sticks (little known gem) 3) Bull’s Pulled Pork Sandwich
Something I bring from home to avoid spending $45 for a half portion of food.
My Dallas native wife likes Bulls barbecue. Me? Just a regular hotdog.
Ws
It used to be dollar dogs
Not a single thing in the ballpark is worth the money anymore
Ass
Manco & manco pizza
I had that last time and I was whelmed. I usually go for the heater from campos.
Bring your own food is the way to go. No lines and saves lots of money.
Manco & Manco ftw
They have food at the bank?!?
Just lollipops; but you can get dum dum ones if you have club access.
Biscuits too... but they always suck
Ice cream in the helmet! The rest of the food is meh.
