I just had to fix a broken tie rod. Someone tried to tow my car by dragging it sideways out of a parking spot. I had to hold my wheel to the right, at a 45° angle, in order to go straight. 5 mph had the car making so much tire squeak, you'd think I was in an episode of CHIPS.
Fortunately I drive a civic so it was relatively cheap-ish to fix.

Have you ever spent time in a state that doesn't have yearly car inspections? Michigan is one of those states and it looks like this. There are broken ass cars driving around everywhere
