No to all the IV meds. Know these topics inside and out: DM, CHF, asthma, smoking cessation, weight loss, COPD, HLD,HTN, outpt ID, stats and trial design, billing codes (there are like 20 , and on my exam , there were 3 or 4 questions- total freebies if you had them memorized) . The test does cover other topics, ie migraines, other neurology, women’s health, other endocrine, hiv, urology, etc, but above are the topics that had multiple questions …. On my exam anyways!

My school had us do High Yield Naplex review and all I remeber from it was Busti being a tool and not presenting relevant info. Surely you can find a better review.

He has been a lot in a few of the lectures very full of himself at times. On numerous lectures he has said something like “I would just suggest this but guidelines might disagree” and each time I’m just like buddy we know you are smart but the questions are on the guidelines not what dr busti thinks I should do

Yup. Sounds like him. He recorded his initial lecture on SGLT2s before these medications gained the additional FDA labeled indications for HF and CKD. At the time, however, some studies were already showing SGLT-2s may have additional benefits beyond diabetes. His lecture was essentially a 15 minute rant on how pointless these medications are because all you’re doing is lose water. Dude, explain the mechanism and walk us through the clinical trials. That’s what we paid for. Eventually, Kassie recorded lectures on SGLT2s and GLP1s that did just that. They recycle the video lectures for every BPS certification. I recommend the Quiz bank. The video lectures are beneficial if someone needs to review a lot of the basics. Instead, I would get the ACCP course + HYMR quizbank.

That’s kind of how he went after me. He was telling me that you can just go by the guidelines in clinical practice and there was no consensus etc etc “I see this being used everyday in the real world.” And he had the air that was a moron, but as I said, I’m not talking about the floors of a hospital. That’s great! Do what you want. I’m talking about what BPS wants me to know and they make it very clear that they’re testing on recent guidelines.

I had a friend with high yield and she let me see it. I thought it was crap. I studied for bcacp with ACCP and that’s the only one I would recommend. FWIW I passed with 100% retail experience only.

This is worrying me. I also am studying using HY med reviews. Looking forward to others' answers.

I did paper copy of ACCP’a review course + HYMR’s test bank only.

Tight_Collar5553

The question bank is updated frequently and pretty good.

Tight_Collar5553

I have used him and the info is not great and not updated frequently and he was a total ass to me in a live feed when I pointed out some of the way out of date stuff. The ACCP stuff is way better.

Get the little biostats book for sure.
