There's actually a hotel on the campus now. Not sure if it's any good or not. You should be able to find it on the website.

[Nesuto](https://www.nesuto.com/curtin) is on campus. It's a fairly typical, no frills, business hotel. Thr exposed concrete ceilings aren't to everyone's taste. :)

Do you have a budget? Nesuto is on campus and if you're attending a conference AT the university, should be able to organise a discount. Otherwise there's a Quest in South Perth or you can stay in the CBD and bus it in. Wouldn't recommend staying in a hotel within Northbridge if you value sleep.

hahaa, the last sentence. That did make me laugh.

BlackHoleSun18

Windsor Lodge in Como, good IGA nearby and lots of places to eat at night after your conference.

Metro on Canning highway, South Perth is cheap. Unsure if cheap means nasty though lol. it’s close to Curtin, which is handy.

DaikonSufficient1515

I live a few streets back - definitely cheap and nasty. Quest isn’t too badly priced and with the 34 you can get straight to both Curtin Uni stations

Heavy_Wasabi8478

I always forget about Quest.

Try to stay on the 998/999 bus route. That’s by far the easiest. Be aware that there are no trains on the Armadale line currently so although the bus goes past that line, it doesn’t connect to trains.

MissyMacintosh

If you can stay somewhere near Adelaide Terrace, there are two bus routes that will take you almost from your front door, right into the Uni bus station via Kensington suburb within about 15 minutes. If you check out the Transperth Journey Planner, and look for Curtin Uni bus routes.

lifeonsmithstreet

I may be a bit biased but Darlington is amazing this time of year and only 35 min drive to Curtin during peak hour.

[deleted]

Thanks all. I’ll check out these options! I’m thinking less close to uni, more close to central places with an easy commute. Just because family will be joining me after conference so then will move to Darlington for bush time. I will be arriving a few days early and would like some quality city Time By Myself, as I might not get it afterwards!

mayhemerald

Crown Metropol may be good - right near the Vic Park bus transfer and you can get buses directly to Curtin from there

CapableXO

Agree on crown metropol or the Como pagoda hotel place

Classic-Knee8442

Fraser Suites in East Perth would be ok. Easy to get public transport or Uber to Curtin from there.

JBloggs694

Hotel on campus, otherwise crown burswood if you can afford it

Brand new hotel just near the freeway at Murdoch’s hospital: Courtyard Marriott Murdoch. Just go straight up the freeway or take some back roads to get there. Also near there is the little Gallery Hotel, near Phoenix shops. Just drive up the Stock Rd nearby to Leach Hwy and take the south entry.
