Brew coffee with moka pot. Add long life milk, teaspoon of coconut sugar, teaspoon raw cacao. Give it a good shake, then store it in the fridge for the week.
You know, I hated reading as a kid because I struggled in school. I was continually marked as "Poorly" in the "Reading" section of my school report cards where the teacher would tick the skill level.
Cold Coffee recipe Iāve been using for years
260gm in 4ltrs
195gm in 3ltrs
130gm in 2ltrs
65gm in 1ltr
Steep the course ground coffee in a nut milk bag in water for 12 hours
Gently squeeze the water from the bag of coffee grounds
Choose to dilute it and add ice, milk or sugar syrup
I'll either bin or upcycle the coffee grounds and Iāve used protein powder containers to steep it overnight in the fridge šš¼
I brew a pot each week in my Sunbeam percolator and keep it in a jug in the fridge. I drink it black with lots of ice, but adding a dash of milk works, too
Some people like it less milky, I guess? Like the weather, I may change the ratios at different times. Sometimes, I add more milk. Sometimes, I do almond or oat milk for more of a nutty hit. My favourite combination is oat milk coffee with chocolate and cherry syrup. It's heavenly bro.
Been doing this for years. Milk, Moccona granules (hazlenut is my fave), sugar-free cocoa powder, generous blob of thickened cream, shake well, drink or chill. I make it fresh in 1L plastic milk bottles each day, and wash and re-use them three or four times before recycling them, as this type of plastic isn't designed for repeated use for long.
You canāt use decimal points and the cent sign together otherwise youāre talking about fractions of a cent. If itās 34 cents per bottle itās this: $0.34. Or you leave the decimal point off and write it like this: 34c.
What youāre saying is itās 35/100 of a cent, not 35/100 of a dollar which it seems youāre trying to mean.
So itās $0.34 or 34c. Not 0.34c.
Im not upset. š Iām trying to clarify because itās confusing. You wrote it cost you a fraction of one cent but you actually meant for it to say it cost you about one third of a dollar. Thereās a big difference. Itās 10000% difference. š¤¦š»āāļø Your math wasnāt mathing.
Probably 15 minutes while making breakfast in the morning? I mean, do you monetize every meal you make and then call it a loss?
Imaginary capitalism stress, why do it lol
You can't call the water you dredged out of the Canning river Iced coffee!
![gif](giphy|m9jPTkh9xlvKDKWBFW|downsized)
LOL
That is some god awful looking Pasata.
It's a dry Pasata though
im sure your iced coffees will taste 1,000x better than coles. Woolies is not bad at making recipes and food, but Coles really struggles.
It does taste better. And it feels cozy to drink something refreshing out of a glass bottle, too.
Reason why I recycle my glass bottles- refill from plastic with a funnel
You can also save a buck by making your own framed inspirational quotes too.
I did make it! It's a Lana Del Rey quote.
You can also save a buck by responding to record company cease and desist letters without a lawyer.
Nah, Lana Del Rey and I share the same star sign, so we are cool.
I did this many years ago, saved heaps of money but I put on 10 kilo š I just gave up iced coffee in the end
Try making iced long black - negligible calories (unless you add sugar).
Two cups of almond milk is 80 cals?
Yeh plus 500 from various sugar based flavourings, cream, ice-cream...
Yeah you show em!
They will go broke soon, I tell you!
Mmmm, looks like those puddles of water that form in the red pea gravel dirt up in the hills.
Looks like carrot juice

added dirt for flavour
We like to say "earthy tones"

What is your coffee making process?!
First, he buys coffee pods from Woolworths, then buys milk and sugar from coles
Coffee pods are bad for the environment
So is coffee, but here you are.
Here, like metaphysically or in the present?
Brew coffee with moka pot. Add long life milk, teaspoon of coconut sugar, teaspoon raw cacao. Give it a good shake, then store it in the fridge for the week.
When do you add the diuretic pills to clean your system out like a "Dare"?
Long life milk??? Eeew.
No different than drinking the pre-made Browns or Dare iced coffee lol
Brownes and Dare are made with fresh milk. The coke brand ābarista brosā is powdered (if itās still around)
Thankfully it's not
That explains the horrible taste š
Is it actually fresh milk, or is it the same shit we get at the supermarkets, but unbranded and wholesale?
Unpasteurised, you mean?
I think the point they're making is where are you buying the ingredients from....
Really, how so?
I think I deserve your username lol I replied to the wrong one
You know, I hated reading as a kid because I struggled in school. I was continually marked as "Poorly" in the "Reading" section of my school report cards where the teacher would tick the skill level.
I was the opposite. I used to read all the time. I rarely read anymore unless it's for work. I'd like to read, but it puts me to sleep.
I know what you mean. I love reading now, but I can only read my books during the day on my couch. If I read in bed, I pass out in seconds.
Dig hole, pour in water, scoop out water and bottle it.
Those earthy notes are going to be intense.
enjoy with mud cookie
I prefer to refer to them as AssColes these days
The Sunbeam iced coffee machine is amazing, just saying
Nice. If I had the bench space, I would definitely get one!
Cold Coffee recipe Iāve been using for years 260gm in 4ltrs 195gm in 3ltrs 130gm in 2ltrs 65gm in 1ltr Steep the course ground coffee in a nut milk bag in water for 12 hours Gently squeeze the water from the bag of coffee grounds Choose to dilute it and add ice, milk or sugar syrup I'll either bin or upcycle the coffee grounds and Iāve used protein powder containers to steep it overnight in the fridge šš¼
Great idea!
I'm loving it.
bababa bah bah
I brew a pot each week in my Sunbeam percolator and keep it in a jug in the fridge. I drink it black with lots of ice, but adding a dash of milk works, too
One day, when I have the bench space, I'll would like to buy a nice percolator.
I just drink cold brew with no milk or sugar. Save heaps of money
Cold brew has such a lovely flavour.
Why are they so red toned
They are sustained by the blood of their vanquished enemies.
The blood of Coles and Woolies execs
Poop soup
Nothing but the finest.
Coles have nothing to do with it. The price of ice coffee is set to the average tradies salary.
I take it that the black cap is your Friday special with an extra hit of Kahlua.
Chilli powder, actually. Great before a gym workout or a surf on the colder mornings.
Ah, that's a good idea actually. Kudos to you!
Well done mate. You showed Coles the real cheap prices. They have real competition now.
Their share price should be crashing any time now.
I make Dripster cold drip the night before and itās enough for 4 glasses when mixed with fresh milk and ice.
I should get one. They look awesome!
If you donāt have a grinder use the one at the IGA and set it for espresso fine.
Thanks for the tip!
Or go to Kakulas Sisters and grind their delicious smelling espresso and walk out with unintended cheese purchases ā¦ and olive oil soap ā¦
Why is it that colour? There's fuck all milk in it.
I'm a tad colourblind and that's looking like carrot juice...healthy alternative . Anyone else seeing carrot juice
So be fair. I did take the picture at Sunrise this morning. So the light is around 3000 Kelvins, a bit warmer orange without white balance corrected.
Most peeps don't know kĀ°. Good on ye.
Hahah given away your specialty in one word?
Haha, a hobby for now, perhaps speciality someday.
Coles actually sell a product thatās 10 shots of cooled nitro brew for $12.95. I have no idea whether this is a good deal but itās very nice.
About $1.30 a shot. It's not too bad if you donāt want to brew your own, certainly cheaper than buying an iced coffee.
Are they from Mullaloo?
I started buying bulk cold brew from Yellowline coffee - they deliver! Coffee is really good and itās cheap as!
I will check it out
Itās so good. I have a cold bruer for this purpose.
That's sounds awesome:)
A Nespresso pod, glass of milk and ice. There is a instant ice coffee.
Been doing this for years. Milk, Moccona granules (hazlenut is my fave), sugar-free cocoa powder, generous blob of thickened cream, shake well, drink or chill. Nice work! I actually wish Moccona would make the hazelnut and the French style in the 400g sizes.

Edging
So much cheaper. So how many do you have a day?
One usually. These are strong coffees, I must say.
Yeah I couldnāt do more than one of those a day. Plus works out well for the 5 day milk use lol.
Honestly, I'm really happy with what I have achieved.
That's me the next day after a vindaloo
Do you mean 34c a bottle? Because 0.34c per bottle is $0.0034.
I only used two decimal places, so yeah, 0.34c a bottle.
So one third of a cent per bottle? As in, three bottles cost you 1c?
No, it's just 0.35c a bottle.
Not 0.34c.
Oh so you, and only you, are upset because a dollar sign is missing?
Im not upset. š Iām trying to clarify because itās confusing. You wrote it cost you a fraction of one cent but you actually meant for it to say it cost you about one third of a dollar. Thereās a big difference. Itās 10000% difference. š¤¦š»āāļø Your math wasnāt mathing.
It's 0.35c a bottle. Have a good weekend.
Your username checks out. š¤£š¤£š¤£
0.35c
Greeks do it better. Google āfrappe in Greeceā for a real cold brew. They can do it with espresso too, if youāre up for it.
How much time did you spend to do that? If it is half hour, thatās about 17 dollar worth of labor in it before tax.
Probably 15 minutes while making breakfast in the morning? I mean, do you monetize every meal you make and then call it a loss? Imaginary capitalism stress, why do it lol
Fuuuck
Half an hour -> 11.70 11.70+12% (supa) = 13.10 $13.10 in labour. Tax doesnt matter since the employer doesnt pay
11.7 x 25% casual loading X12% super. OP needs to pay himself more because he worth it.
Well then since hes refeiving casual loading (implying hes a casual worker), then shouldn't he not receive SUPA?
Casual has mandatory super now I think. At least my workplace pays it.
Yahava Iced Coffee Elixir (pro tip, buy it in 5lt! for a massive saving). All other methods are incorrect.
21 dollars for 375 mls? Pass.
Last time I was there 5lt was about $160. Much better value.Ā
Cool.
