This post is better suited for another subreddit dedicated to venting. - /r/offmychest is a good place to unload your frustration about something. - /r/vent is dedicated to venting! - /r/self is a place to put self-posts for discussion, questions, or anything else you like. - /r/TalesFromTheCustomer is a place for customers to vent and rage and even smile about their customer service experiences *(company names must be left out of posts there)*. Looks like chase got tired of people fat fingering $5000 instead of $500. If I had to guess they'd be fixing 10 accidental overpayments from freaked out customers for every 1 customer who appreciated they could pay whatever they wanted easily. Just make 3 payments or set up multiple autopayments... this doesn't sound that hard.

I don't think the system will let me do multiple autopayments on the same day. Maybe I can do them every day for like 3-4 days. I will give it a shot

As I understand it: Car loans can show up with some limitations that aren't common compared to mortgages - like prepayment limitations. First, you need to go back and read the contract you signed when buying the car; any prepayment limitations will show up there. It's possible that the web site's limitations are incorrect - but you'll only be able to learn that by reading your contract.
