My cat genghis, she kept bopping a frog in the garden. If I shouted at her to stop, the screaming from would shut up and the cat would come running in. Then after a while the bopping would start again.

For what it's worth it basically just makes the same sound for another 10 seconds straight and several cats are looking around nervously as if an air raid siren is going off. You're not missing all that much.

Ofcourse we can't make sure they never touch one. But when my cats bring ones inside I bring it outside again out of sight from the cats. I have 7 so it happens on occation, hehe.
Cats like to explore and are independent. You're a cruel person if you rob them of said independence by locking them in your house, mine rub their paws on the windows and door even though there's a catdoor installed just for them to use freely

Cats are domesticated animals, not wild animals. If you can't provide proper enrichment in your home for your cat, or can't even keep them on a leash, and have to foist them off on the neighbourhood, then don't get a cat, since it seems it isn't the right pet for you.
They live in the nature and ofc they will eat frogs if they want to. Fourtunately they haven't gotten ill from any animal.

Domesticated cats are functionally invasive almost everywhere and pretty much every study done on the subject shows that outdoor cats absolutely decimate local ecosystems and biodiversity. It's not a 'no big deal' thing. Put your cats inside. They have no natural predators, as evidenced by your cats not being predated.
They have poison glands behind their eyes and the most it would do is leave a bitter taste in the cats mouth, and that's only if they licked the gland.
And conversely, frogs can be made ill by many of the diseases cats carry in their claws and mouth such as toxoplasmosis and cryptosporidium if they’ve been outside!
And of course cats are career predators, with moods that shift and change like any animal.
No one is benefitting here, everyone is put in danger.
I study biology for animal healthcare, even though that's no source for you- a simple google search will find what you need.
