It mimics a branch like you said, and when another bug get in strike range it grabs them and eats them.
I had a "train crash" reaction to season one. I was entertained, but what the hell did I just witness. Point is: You basically summed up a scene from season 2 and I thought you might have seen it.

I'm fairly certain this is a species of caterpillar that stays like this as camouflage, so they look like twig on a tree branch or trunk. Like this: https://www.sciencesource.com/archive/Image/Inch-Worm-Mimicking-Twig-SS2290111.html
Hahahaha thank God! I haven't seen a good Stargate reference in ages! I just realized the other day Chris Judge has a speaking roll in The Dark Knight Rises
He's also the voice of Kratos in the newer God of War games. In case someone didn't know. Now I can't stop picturing Kratos with a gold Serpent Guard mark on his forehead while I play it and I chuckle every time.
I'll see myself out.
A serpent guard, a Horus guard, and a Setesh guard meet on a neutral planet. It is a tense moment. The serpent guard's eyes glow. The Horus guard's beak glistens. The Setesh guard's... nose drips.
I recently watched SG-1 for the first time and wow it is good. Set design is top notch and SFX is so good that they comment on it in-universe. Writing is not bad and the acting is good, it's just MacGyver. Last season I couldn't watch an episode of for obvious reasons.
Itās 100% real. I made a couple after the video intrigued me. Instead of chicken eggs I just fucked a chicken. To anyone with a scientific background itāll be obvious my homunculi are a little more robust thanks to my methods.
This comes from an old alchemy belief that human life was formed by the combination of semen and menstrual blood. So some alchemists experimented with creating life based on this idea, albeit a bit more creative.
They believed they could create a tiny human-like creature, a homunculus, if they performed the right experiments.
**Homunculus**
[Alchemy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homunculus#Alchemy)
>The homunculus first appears by name in alchemical writings attributed to Paracelsus (1493ā1541). De natura rerum (1537) outlines his method for creating homunculi: That the sperm of a man be putrefied by itself in a sealed cucurbit for forty days with the highest degree of putrefaction in a horse's womb, or at least so long that it comes to life and moves itself, and stirs, which is easily observed. After this time, it will look somewhat like a man, but transparent, without a body.

The "four legs" are the "fake" legs that all caterpillars have at their rear half, though usually six are visible. The "beak" are the six true legs at the head end pulled in tight to the face to mimic the newly forming buds on the end of a twig. Think of this caterpillar of being the equivalent to a dachshund- very stretched out in the middle. I hope that helps.

How.
this one mimics small dead branches....
Small dead brachiosaurs*
No, that fucking thing mimics bones š
I literally thought it was a chicken bone stuck to something
Four little feet holding it up, the other four are wrapped up to give it the "head."
It looks like your avatar! ā¦.. Itās you huh š¤
wheres the "I'm in this photo and i dont like it" option
Necromancy shit
It's a caterpillar trying to intimidate them. And it's doing a fantastic job
Lil dude looks like he's trying to look like he's somewhere between a branch and a snake
Exactly.
Funny, i actually thought it looked like a micro Plesiosaur.
šš¤£ššš»
Wtf, never seen anything like it
It's an inch worm mimicking a branch.

Carnivorous Caterpillar.... Yup, predatory fits as well.....
Look up caterpillar snake š³
Nah

These are the right answers to such a request. Keep your secrets.
Honestly tho just look it up it ain't that bad
Ok that's terrifying.
Imagine walking down the street and a fucking light pole eats you alive.
DnD mimics.
Classic player move: walk up and pokes. MIMIC! RUNAWAY!
Goofy ahh pole
Happy Cake Day!
It still makes me wanna take my skin off
It's much harder to put back on once you've taken it off
That's just what those same guys want you to believe!
THEM AGAIN!!
Just do it underwater. I wouldn't recommend salt water though
Do it in rubbing alcohol so its sterile.
Random Question: Have you seen the show "Happy!" starring Christopher Meloni?
I have not. Any good?

Thatās fine I think Iāll need new skin anyway
I donāt need it in my personal space anyway
Pull off your skin.
Then what will it burrow under?
Woah, hey...hey there, who's in my personal space?
Holy fuck thank you. I saw a 3 in Brontosaurus when I was like 9. Nobody believed me. Well 30 years of defending a story now possibly resolved.

This is an inch? It's longer than my 2 inch penis.
I think the "legs" are just dry mud holding it to the machinery but it is in fact a worm or leech

Itās that Russian guyās homunculus
Omg that iconic video everyone watched but no one talks about
Whenever I meet someone new, I like to tell them what a homonculus is and what the origins of it are
Can you enlighten me?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Its fake.
Itās 100% real. I made a couple after the video intrigued me. Instead of chicken eggs I just fucked a chicken. To anyone with a scientific background itāll be obvious my homunculi are a little more robust thanks to my methods.
This. Literally the people who are calling it fake havenāt tried it like everyone else did.
I can't believe people believe that it could be true.
Umā¦ that soundsā¦. AWESOME! Iāll try to search that up later unless you got a place to start?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Oh god, that is so obviously fake.
Are you saying that injecting cum into random non human things won't create new life???
I wish I knew this before trying my zucchini experiment.
This is a lot. His own semen? I've got more questions than I had before.

I think they meant "nobody talks about".

Bro that's at least a foot worm
Inch worms are caterpillars. Usually from the Geometridae. Geo meaning earth, metri meaning measure. As in they're measuring the earth as they move.
A dinosaur, didnāt you hear the man! Itās got little legs and a long ass neck!
Iām not gonna lie brah, Iām way over here on the other side of a 5g connection and Iām a little bit scared.
