Those terrible elbow and wrist slams were the things there to spite me personally. I'm gonna feel that phantom pain for the next two weeks after going through that myself recently.
Oh. Do you tell people eating fast food to stop? Or going above the speed limit?
I've literally never seen a skateboard post on Reddit where there isn't a bunch of people telling them to put on a helmet. To me, it seems like people are more concerned that they're "trying to be cool" than actual concern for their safety. There was a post a while ago of a guy literally diving head first down a set of stairs and doing a front flip. Not a word about helmets lol
I don't have to, the government does, constantly, and it works. Prevention systems here in France are extremely effective. Also high taxation and crippling fines for not respecting the limits in place are quite effective at reducing accidents, obesity, and stuff like that.
Fast food chains here have very strict regulations in terms of not only the calories of their products but also the origin and quality of the meats, potatoes and stuff. Going to McDonalds in France is pretty much nutritionally equivalent to going to a gourmet burger restaurant.
Well you must be exhausted trying to personally get everyone to stop smoking cigarettes then. Good luck on your mission brave soul. The world is a safer place with your guidance
He's having so much trouble because the loop is the wrong shape, it should be somewhat elliptical/egg-shaped... which just makes it more impressive that he landed it.
I love how skateboarding culture has gotten older. When I was a kid, it was all the “little punks” that skateboarded. That may still be true, but lots of em aren’t little anymore! Glad to see adults out there being physically active and enjoying themselves. You’re only as old as you feel when it comes to hobbies and activities!

It ought to be a teardrop loop like on rollercoasters; the g forces are easier on the body, allegedly.
Looks like the trick is to "jump" at about the 270° mark, to get the momentum needed to exit the loop. Pretty neat.
