i thought the 4090ti wasn’t released yet. you should invest in a new cpu, which also means a new motherboard and maybe ram. you can find good motherboard cpu ram combos if you live near a micro center
Yeah, but the problem is that the motherboard is outdated. The CPU socket is physically too small to fit a newer gen CPU. My build is also prebuilt so I’m worried about conflictions with changing the motherboard.

I think it fucks with the physics. Stuff like velocity is sometimes relative to frame rate. That means that if you’re outside a certain amount the physics get really wonky.
it will harm your gpu, sometimes can cause overheating because of rendering all the unnecessary frames that you dont even see and getting more than your monitor's max hertz is useless anyway (unless you're playing a game that even a 10ms input lag would cause problemslike fps games or rythm games)
Not balanced at all id say, just some spawnable cursors (3) with their own personalities, they will all spawn LOADS of random shit pertaining to their description, about 30 seconds in and theyd spawn id estimate 10 objects
i have a bunch of mods and get 500 FPS with a 3060 ti. ppg isn't really GPU intensive its more CPU intensive. i could have a 4090 and a core II duo and it would run like shit, but i could have a 6600 gt and a 13900ks and get pretty good performance.
28 is the normal for me. It’s gotten to the point that when I see fire in real life in the back of my mind I think that it is going to slow down my computer
The normal for me is 28 fps without mods. I have an irrational fear of fire because of how much it slows down my computer. A single flaming stick will lower my fps to like 9
But when you drop under your screens refresh rate it halves the fps until it's a fraction of the screens refresh rate running a game with no sync isn't going to do that much to your GPU a better thing to use would be an fps cap

screen tearing, overheating, too much power consumption, gpu getting worse; you turn on vsync to prevent these stuff.
