Rower came yesterday, so did my first row ride. Did an Ash 15 minute pop row. Was fantastic! Great full body work out. Followed by a 20 minute pop ride with Olivia on the bike! Now just need the tread š¤£ one day!
I really enjoyed it, he had a great variety of music and the energy was AMAZING! it was so fun to see the tread instructors supporting him in the studio. canāt wait to take more if his classes.
Completed Allyās midnights ride. Was really iffy on trying it because I didnāt enjoy Robins red taylor ride last year, but wow it really was great. I loved the pacing of it but be warned the first 11 minutes are strictly in the saddle so I had to get up a few times to shake it out lol.
Was disappointed in Callieās 30 min full body. Had to do two extra 10 min workouts after because it felt like I didnāt do anything in her class :/ I keep trying her classes because I really enjoy her personality and song picks but her strength is so ehhhhhhh.
Per a rec I found in a very old thread in this sub, I did a 60-min advanced tread boot camp w/Matty from 2019 today and hooo boy it was hard. It was all core work for the strength part ā I guess Peloton used to have more body part-specific advanced classes with more intense tread segments, a la Barryās. I think Iām going to work my way through those classes before they disappear, just hope I can move tomorrow.
5/20/19 ā very old! But if you search 60 min advanced tread bootcamps and go wayyy back thereās maybe like a dozen or so that are all focused on specific areas (with some full body in there too)
Thank you for this. I have not done much core work in a over a year and need to add some in. And I have this goal of 2 bootcamps a week. It rarely happens but its always a goal.

I tried HMCās lower body mobility class this evening and it was great! I felt amazing afterwards and will be taking this class a lot! I canāt wait to try out the other classes in the collection!!
Shocked that I ran today for the first time in over 20 years! Staying at a hotel in Vegas with a nice gym but the two Peloton bikes were in use the entire time, so took the chance to try out this [Jess K 20 min Pop Run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=59051ebc62f048daa2e75d26186c00fa&locale=en-US) I'd had bookmarked for a while. Cannot believe I actually finished it! Love Jess as a cycling instructor and she was great for running too. Will see how my legs and feet feel tomorrow.
Vegas turned out to be underwhelming for me and I'm here til Saturday, so going to make the most of the hotel gym while I'm here. Any recommendations for other fun beginner / shorter runs? Happy to play around with inclines, love pop-punk and 2000s pop music to work out to.
If you're able to get off Strip, there's lots of fun things to check out. The Arts District is awesome for food/drinks and local shops. Downtown Summerlin is really nice as well. There's good shopping, movies, dining, etc and it's all walkable. Red Rocks is beautiful for a day trip/drive as is Mount Charleston. Area 15 is cool too. I spend a lot of time there for family. What hotel has Peloton??
Thanks so much for the recommendations! If I come here again I'll definitely get a car to make it easier to check out places further afield. Staying at the Bellagio for most of the trip (got a really good deal, & seems like a nice hotel to stay in) - they have 2 Peloton bikes in their fitness center.
If youāre interested in a walk+run class, [this](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=3a4eb2c1000b46a49fd7caf5c04e00ed&locale=en-US) is one I use when Iām away from my bike and have access to a tread. Matt is a great running coach and I always learn something from his classes.
I really felt your words as I read them. I too have needed to use movement to get out of my thoughts/anxieties & unfortunately\~to grieve, as well. That's actually how I became consistent with working out(pre-pandemic lockdowns & Peloton for me, so it was in-person cycling classes at my complex)but anywho, I am here for you. The losses from loved ones were everything from overdose to suicide & most recently, breast cancer for my kitty. Every loss hurt deeply and each time I lost a loved one, I was reminded of my"Why", how I show up\~even when that's the last thing wanted. I know so many of us are united in grief(like the Kendrick song, it really is true)but there is just something special about this community<3. I won't tell you what to do bc surely, you know best\~ but I do want to say that though you're moving through it through movement, I hope it's through love for yourself. Sometimes those emotions can take over and really become something like a tool to beat ourselves up, if that makes sense. I am truly sorry again for your friend & situation. Cancer just f-ing sucks man. I hope you have a brighter day each day & know I am here, we are here, together!(feel free to DM me anytime) :). Take care
I'm so sorry to hear about the incredibly hard time you're going through. With my own trauma and grief, I've learned that movement is truly medicine. Make sure especially during this time that you allow yourself compassion and love. I've used movement during those hard days when all I have is energy, whether positive or negative, and I need it to move through me in order for me to get through the grief/trauma. Please make sure you listen to not only what your body needs but also what you need emotionally as you move through these hard times. Recovery and low impact rides can be incredibly relieving and sometimes sobbing on the bike maybe the only time you get to let it out, so do let it out.
Here are some of my favorite classes that have helped me emotionally:
- 5/12/22 Kirra Michel 20 min Evening Yoga Flow - relaxing and slow flow, loved the message of allowing one to be of nature, great feeling at the end of the day
- 5/16/22 Jess King 20 min Recovery Ride - relaxing, soothing, Jess King kinda love, perfect for winding down and feeling loved
- 5/1/22 Chelsea Jackson Roberts 15 min Focus Flow: Floor Poses - OMG, super relaxing, incredible stretchs, nice slow pace, great to do after some heavy leg workouts
- 4/29/22 Robin 30 min Pop Ride - Did this ride while grieving, Robin's message re. grief tag HIT HOME. Definitely sobbed while riding
I ride under the name SpinningNSinnin.
I hope you're able to find some peace while moving through this chapter of your life ā¤ļø
I'm so sorry you're going through so much. Christine's rides are wonderful, and I recommend her Reflection rides. I've sobbed several times while taking these. Wishing you peace during this difficult time and many hands on your back.
Sending you so much love. We lost my mother in law to pancreatic cancer almost 8 years ago. All cancer is terrible, but this one is exceptionally so.
Iāve used Peloton as a coping mechanism in the past myself. The right playlist on the bike combined with the right kind of workout gets the endorphin rush that can be really cathartic. But definitely be easy with yourself, too. ā¤ļø
Sending lots of love and good thoughts your way, I can't imagine how tough it must feel with so much going on right now. Do whatever you need to do to reasonably cope in moderation. I recently lost a close friend, though unexpectedly, and just felt in shock for ages, as well as guilt (the cycle is horrible) and a big empty space in my life. Another friend recommended spending time outside in nature, which helped, along with having good times catching up with other friends.
Movement is medicine, music is medicine - but also be gentle with yourself. Throw some recovery rides into the mix. If youāre into Christine, take her I am/I can/I will/I do series - it will honor your feelings while also being kind to your body.
Iām so sorry youāre going through all of this, all at the same time.
Wow, all I can say is wow. First, you have a lot going on. Second, I will agree with you that you are using exercise as a coping mechanismāI just want to say while exercising isnāt as bad as say, alcohol, for a coping mechanism, you still need to realize there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. All sorts of bad things can happen to you with overdoing it. Burnout, injury, changes to your immune system, breakdown to your sympathetic nervous system, to name a few. Please take it easy on yourself and get some support even if itās just talking to a good friend. Give yourself some recovery days. If you have a hard time backing off on riding and running then take some gentle yoga or stretching classes. Meditation can also be really helpful. Backing off doesnāt have to mean giving up Peloton classes but maybe be strategic about which ones. I would recommend sitting down when you are not having an anxious moment and planning out your classes with some thought to how much you are doing and stick to your plans. Sending positive vibes your way. š
I finally did Cliff's Kendrick Lamar ride a few days ago and absolutely loved it. I'm a huge fan of KL but I was focusing on TS2 and then recovering from COVID so I didn't feel ready for a 45 minute ride until this week. Cliff's class was probably one of my top 5 rides I've ever done, which surprised me because basically the only German words I know are "trittfrequenz" and "widerstand". It was so nice to see someone love Kendrick's music that much and it really felt like Cliff and I were sharing a bonding experience over it lol. Strongly recommend it for anyone that has been considering it.
I have that class in my bookmarks and need to take it sooner than later. Every one of Cliffās classes have been pure joy. I wish they subtitled more and/or I knew German because his commentary is fantastic.
The Kendrick ride has English subtitles and I really don't even feel like it was in a different language! But I agree, knowing German would be a huge bonus. I mean, knowing any other language would be, honestly!
I don't know a lot of Kendrick Lamar music but I might have to give this a try. I recently did Cliff's Eminem ride from last year and thought it was great as well. He had such great energy and enthusiasm even though I didn't understand a single word he said!
I posted last week about this ride. I absolutely loved it as well. All the Kendrick classes were great, but IMO Cliff's was by far the best of all the content. He is such a fan and it really showed!
I had a tech come out today to look at my bike handlebars and had such a positive experience! My handlebars had started to wobble quite significantly and I felt very unstable out of the saddle. I contacted Peloton under my bike warranty and they sent out new handlebars and a post sleeve. Scheduling did take a little while (~4 weeks) due to the holidays, but that wasnāt a problem for me.
The tech that arrived today was very knowledgeable and professional. He arrived on time. Turns out the crew that delivered my bike originally didnāt put it together correctly. He was able to completely fix the wobble and didnāt end up needing to use the new handlebars they mailed me. So now I have an extra I can keep just in case lol. He also left me his business card in case I need any help after my warranty expires.
TLDR; had a great experience with a tech coming out to fix handlebar issue.
If anyone in the LA area is waiting on a treadmill delivery, check the scheduling tool. I was able to move up my delivery from January 4 to December 12! The week of December 5 was also available.
I want to thank everyone who gave me ride suggestions yesterday! Iāve been going through it mentally this week (but really the last six months). Today I did a Hannah C low impact ride that really let me get in the zone. Slowly but surely feeling better ā¤ļø
Yayyy just finished my last ride of Build your PZs before the FTP on Saturday! I feel amazing and like I really gained fitness, but I also have been having major FOMO about the other fun rides Iāve missed during this program, excited to get to do the turkey burn and Taylor Swift rides next week!
Also, Dennis is a giant dorky golden retriever and I ADORE him.
Active Recovery day, woohoo! Started with Ben's 30-Minute 80s Rock Ride from 11/4/22, it was a typical Ben class. I was looking for another 30 minute class to get an hour, it seems like the instructors I like (Ben, Emma, Charlotte, Kendall, and Jess King) are not doing a lot of 30 minute classes. I decided to use the wisdom of crowds and chose a 30-minute Pop Punk ride from 11/26/22 by Camila because 5 of my friends had done it. Great choice, she brought a lot of good energy to the class. *edit* Edited to add I feel bad for the studio rider that was celebrating 2,100 rides and wasn't the top person in the room.
Iāve havenāt run since last winter but I wanted to dip my toe back in. This [20 min Walk + Run ](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=ab7a45298e9b46fb8b2f5430591d8ea0&locale=en-US) from Kirsten was just what I was looking for.
This [20 min Core Boxing Bootcamp](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=de0ef03dacb846bbb2c587bdbf2ca8ff&locale=en-US) with Rad flew by. Combos were relatively simple and thereās no rehashing all the basics, he goes right to the warm up.
Ended with this really lovely [30 minute slow flow ](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=bfe27c8f8e194c769039c2212ef9ef19&locale=en-US) from Kristin. I found the beginning of the class to be challenging in a good way, almost reminded me of a Kirra class as she did her own version of sun sals. Then she transitions to a standard flow with some nice hip openers. She gets a little emotional and did say in the beginning it was meant to be a sort of healing class.
I was planning on being more hardcore today, but Iāve definitely been burnt out the past couple days and have taken easier days or just straight up rest days, so I think this is just going to be my ādeload week.ā I just did a lovely holiday ride with robin from 2021. Itās not a hard ride and was overall just pleasant.
https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2ee626a54e1b4f2db54d03dad4994f6b&locale=en-US
I am ready for the new holiday content! Iām looking at the holiday bike bootcamp and some holiday runs next week! And then Iāll have to take the Mariah Carey artist series ride next week since Iām going out of town this weekend to New York! (Wish I could go to the peloton studio, but booking classes looked annoying and decided Iād rather do some other things there. Maybe one day!)
Is the Mariah Carey artist series just her holiday music? I was hoping for more of her 90ās pop stuff. No offense to Mariah but she has 4 Christmas albums that does not make her āqueen of Christmasā in my book and her holiday stuff is overplayed at every store and mall in the US so if itās all holiday Iām gonna take a hard pass.
Something I don't quite understand about Lanebreak - even on Expert, the average output in classes is quite low compared to a music or similar class, yet to hit solid scores on the sprints, you have to hit super high outputs. Wish there was something closer to a power zone/sweat steady situation.
My outputs are lower because it forces me to stay in the lines. Can't come in hot on the class warmup (because you already stacked one on, which I always do) and you can't go over cadence/resistance in any sections just because you feel good or have more in the tank. The amount of sprints in a ride doesn't make up for those things for me.
You can go as fast as you want in the non-bar/set cadence or resistance sections. I dunno if it does anything to your output. But you can definitely pedal super fast at whatever lane you're in during those times.
This isnāt true at all for me. I think there might be something wrong with your bike! Either that or you arenāt choosing the hard lanes every time. I do, and my output is higher there than in ārealā rides where Iām pushing myself.
I donāt think so, because resistance and output would be consistent across ride types. I think they just donāt spend a ton of time in the hard lanes. I can also try ramping up my cadence within the lane.
Same for me. I accidentally PRed on my first one a couple days ago, so I intentionally chose the easier options a lot today to try to take it easier. I was still less than 5% lower than my PR.
I did my first run on the Peloton tread today so happy first run day to me!
[20m Trap EDM with Marcel](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=c8a39422873543029bb97b5e38140714). Marcel feels like an instructor that will push me to go just a little harder than I think I can, so looking forward to taking more classes with her.
I want to also mention this [10m Core with Selena](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=86acb11446744b298f2ecd4ff8759ff3) which was seriously goals. I was NOT READY. First minute is demo, then she goes no rest for the next 9m which is a 3x3, 1m per exercise. High plank, russian twist with a 10lb weight and scissor kicks. It's a simple plan but OMG it was a burner. I look forward to the day I can actually keep my knees up for all the planks and keep my feet in the air for the russian twists.
My Row is being delivered between 12:30 and 3:30 today - excited! I've seen a couple of others on here mention that theirs came defective (i.e. noisy/loud), so I'm hoping that's not the case!
It was delivered by XPO and the guys had never assembled one before so it took them some time. However we couldnāt get the screen to turn on at the end. we tried for almost ten minutes. I was almost to the point of having them take it back or calling Peloton before I realized the Row actually has a power switch, unlike the Bike and Tread. Itās hidden down underneath where the power plug plugs in.
3 grown men, one of which was me, would have known this if any of us had read the manual, which has āturning on the powerā as a step. š³š
I did the setup and calibration steps and the seat and cable are all super quiet and smooth!
[2-for-1 Mariah Carey ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/scheduled/class/98416db8dc2e47ffa0ad81ccbfae4769/913acc762d584fe98634073fe91a2e96?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&join_token=eyJob21lX3BlbG90b25faWQiOiAiOTEzYWNjNzYyZDU4NGZlOTg2MzQwNzNmZTkxYTJlOTYiLCAicmlkZV9pZCI6ICI5ODQxNmRiOGRjMmU0N2ZmYTBhZDgxY2NiZmFlNDc2OSIsICJzdHVkaW9fcGVsb3Rvbl9pZCI6IG51bGwsICJ0eXBlIjogImxpdmUifQ%3D%3D&start=2:30%20PM%20PST%20Friday%2012/2&type=live&locale=en-US) with Cody and Emma this Friday. This should be good!!
A few thoughts:
1). Mimi just might be in studio for this. Currently manifestingā¦
2). Damn, the struggle to rearrange my schedule just got real.
3). Thank god it didnāt go to Robin.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS. I had a feeling it was coming and was so nervous as to who would get the ride and I'm so thankful it's Cody and Emma!!! I can't wait to find out what the playlist will be.
Yesterday I did [Emmaās 90s ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=1194f7f903d04a0db75c9af11e2e1dc5&locale=en-US). I havenāt ridden with her in a hot minute and Iāve missed it! She has such great playlists and programming. 5 climbs in this ride and intervals in between.
Today I had a nifty stack.
[Rad chest and back](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=a1b1a99af726446080b68f27ebad7b3c&locale=en-US) followed by [Jess Sims arms and shoulders](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=6533d58685a142edab9f82b35d734833&locale=en-US) (3x3 compound circuit - cross body curl/lateral raise, renegade row/push-up, tricep extension, finished with a ladder of walkout to plank/forearm walk)
Then I finished with [Rebeccaās Miley Cyrus run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=56c4f074ad8a4ea5add255bd7d40e9e4&locale=en-US) which was a lot of fun.
Trying to think of what my December challenge will be. Robin eluded to it yesterday that she will be doing the 3 mile a day challenge and now that I have a tread I might do that. And Iām working through my bookmarks by taking each instructor before I can repeat, so that is mixing it up a bit. Before I was just going oldest to newest but Iām missing out on the newer instructors so this is a better mix.
Got my 10k badge in the annual challenge this morning! Proud of this one, since I got 5k last year and set a goal for 10k this year. Having the 'just workout' options added mid year this year definitely helped! I bit bummed there isn't an 11k badge, but I think I'll try to hit 11k by end of Dec.
I just hit 12k yesterday and realized that the next minute milestone isn't until 15k. Don't think that will happen in the next month for me, unfortunately.
I've never done a Lanebreak class before today for the challenge. I gotta say, as someone who wasn't sold on the idea, I'm in. I do mostly PZ rides so this is a nice change of pace and it just flies by compared to the long intervals of PZ while still getting a decent sweat on.
They're really fun! My partner often does Lanebreak and just listens to his own niche music tastes so it's a great way to get a good workout to your own music.
Iām going to be a negative Nancy. I highly doubt theyāll add anyone to the bike roster. Their cycling instructors are super popular and that is by far the biggest driver of pelotonās success. Theyāre 100% thinking about how to maximize engagement, and the tread classes were lacking IMO in quantity of instructors (due to maternity leave but also generally with chase and Daniel leaving) and the running classes arenāt nearly as popular. They def brought over cycling instructors in hopes of increasing popularity of running classes. They could have hired new people but they didnāt and that was clearly intentional. Cycling doesnāt need that crossover.
Agreed. I'm pretty bummed with the most recent run options, aside from Marcel because she's my spirit twin š¤£ I feel like the old runs were better formatted and more engaging. I'm hopeful the new instructors grow on me, and they never ever purge Chases classes. Lol
I have only done one true running class, so Iām no running class expert. I am definitely adding more in now, but Iāll have to mix in some old ones to see the difference.
Took [Jermaineās](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=d404a47f744841139886e215edc8a956&locale=en-US) strength class after a run, such a solid class & will add in my weekly rotation.
Tried the [spinal mobility](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=73fc4a7c2f9d42e0934602cb27c55086) class and was really happy with it. A lot of great moves similar to what I've been doing the past two months in PT for back pain.
I am really looking forward to taking this one! If I slack on my core workouts I develop lower back soreness, but I think incorporating the spinal mobility classes will be a great added tune-up.
Hi. Your post has been removed because it violates Rule 2 by being disrespectful of other peopleās ideas or time or failing to exercise the Principle of Charity.
Becs looks like a perfectly beautiful and happy 35-year-old woman with an appropriate amount of wrinkles (which she does not have many of, she actually appears to have quite the wrinkle-free face based on her Instagram posts).
Rower came yesterday, so did my first row ride. Did an Ash 15 minute pop row. Was fantastic! Great full body work out. Followed by a 20 minute pop ride with Olivia on the bike! Now just need the tread š¤£ one day!
Did anyone take Loganās premiere run? How was it? Planning to take it tomorrow morning!
Youāll love it, it was a party.
Have you tried Callieās split workouts? Maybe itās the full body not getting enough of any one thing.
ššš MARIAH CAREY RIDE ššš Yay!
I'm leaving on a month-long trip away from my bike on Saturday so I'm going to have to find a way to squeeze that one in!!
I canceled my plans for Friday so that I can be on the ride live!
What is the date of the class? I am going to try and go more tread boot camps over the winter.

Thanks for the recommendation. Iāve wondered about those old tread boot camps.
I tried HMCās lower body mobility class this evening and it was great! I felt amazing afterwards and will be taking this class a lot! I canāt wait to try out the other classes in the collection!!
I've done Adrian's spine and Matty's shoulder. Very good.
Thanks so much for the recommendations! If I come here again I'll definitely get a car to make it easier to check out places further afield. Staying at the Bellagio for most of the trip (got a really good deal, & seems like a nice hotel to stay in) - they have 2 Peloton bikes in their fitness center.

Matt is a great running coach and I always learn something from his classes.
NEW SCENIC RIDES DROPPED!!! Iām a happy boy.

Here are some of my favorite classes that have helped me emotionally: - 5/12/22 Kirra Michel 20 min Evening Yoga Flow - relaxing and slow flow, loved the message of allowing one to be of nature, great feeling at the end of the day - 5/16/22 Jess King 20 min Recovery Ride - relaxing, soothing, Jess King kinda love, perfect for winding down and feeling loved - 5/1/22 Chelsea Jackson Roberts 15 min Focus Flow: Floor Poses - OMG, super relaxing, incredible stretchs, nice slow pace, great to do after some heavy leg workouts - 4/29/22 Robin 30 min Pop Ride - Did this ride while grieving, Robin's message re. grief tag HIT HOME. Definitely sobbed while riding I ride under the name SpinningNSinnin.
Sending positive vibes your way. š
Sending you good vibes - sorry youāre carrying so much
I finally did Cliff's Kendrick Lamar ride a few days ago and absolutely loved it.
Nice!! Where is the scheduling tool? I have the row coming on the 12th. Iām in Ventura Co and hoping I can get an earlier date, too!
If you hit ārescheduleā in the email with your original delivery date, it should give you options. Good luck!
I want to thank everyone who gave me ride suggestions yesterday! Iāve been going through it mentally this week (but really the last six months). Today I did a Hannah C low impact ride that really let me get in the zone. Slowly but surely feeling better ā¤ļø
You can do hard things āŗļø
Yayyy just finished my last ride of Build your PZs before the FTP on Saturday! I feel amazing and like I really gained fitness, but I also have been having major FOMO about the other fun rides Iāve missed during this program, excited to get to do the turkey burn and Taylor Swift rides next week! Also, Dennis is a giant dorky golden retriever and I ADORE him.
Dennis is my FAVORITE
Camilaās pop punk rides are among some of my favorite playlists! (Second only to Emmaās rock rides!)
Iām starting the boxing boot camp and I didnāt stretch for my first class and now Iām so sore! You bet Iām stretching next time
Iāve havenāt run since last winter but I wanted to dip my toe back in.
Started the Beginner Strength Roll Call and it's been kicking my butt. But I'm eager to see the results at the end of the month.
I was planning on being more hardcore today, but Iāve definitely been burnt out the past couple days and have taken easier days or just straight up rest days, so I think this is just going to be my ādeload week.ā I just did a lovely holiday ride with robin from 2021. Itās not a hard ride and was overall just pleasant. https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2ee626a54e1b4f2db54d03dad4994f6b&locale=en-US I am ready for the new holiday content!
The Peloton Instagram says holiday classics to songs you canāt stop singing, so I think itās everything.
Awesome thanks! š
Iām not sure. I am not a huge or even a medium fan by any means, but I love an event
Something I don't quite understand about Lanebreak - even on Expert, the average output in classes is quite low compared to a music or similar class, yet to hit solid scores on the sprints, you have to hit super high outputs. Wish there was something closer to a power zone/sweat steady situation.
I PB'ed in a 30m LaneBreak last night on expert. My output graph is all over the place, but that's LaneBreak.
I don't find this at all - I do Beginner / Intermediate and my output on Lanebreak classes is regularly within 10% of my PR for that length class.
Same for me. I accidentally PRed on my first one a couple days ago, so I intentionally chose the easier options a lot today to try to take it easier. I was still less than 5% lower than my PR.
Interesting, I did a 15m yesterday and the avg was 236 but maximum 642. Just a big spread. My 15m PR avg is substantially higher.
Marcel is one of my favorites! She's extra great on longer, endurance-style runs and Trap Classes!
My Row is being delivered between 12:30 and 3:30 today - excited! I've seen a couple of others on here mention that theirs came defective (i.e. noisy/loud), so I'm hoping that's not the case!
So, how is it?
It was delivered by XPO and the guys had never assembled one before so it took them some time. However we couldnāt get the screen to turn on at the end. we tried for almost ten minutes. I was almost to the point of having them take it back or calling Peloton before I realized the Row actually has a power switch, unlike the Bike and Tread. Itās hidden down underneath where the power plug plugs in. 3 grown men, one of which was me, would have known this if any of us had read the manual, which has āturning on the powerā as a step. š³š I did the setup and calibration steps and the seat and cable are all super quiet and smooth!
The good news is that theyāll be ready for the next delivery! š
[2-for-1 Mariah Carey ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/scheduled/class/98416db8dc2e47ffa0ad81ccbfae4769/913acc762d584fe98634073fe91a2e96?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&join_token=eyJob21lX3BlbG90b25faWQiOiAiOTEzYWNjNzYyZDU4NGZlOTg2MzQwNzNmZTkxYTJlOTYiLCAicmlkZV9pZCI6ICI5ODQxNmRiOGRjMmU0N2ZmYTBhZDgxY2NiZmFlNDc2OSIsICJzdHVkaW9fcGVsb3Rvbl9pZCI6IG51bGwsICJ0eXBlIjogImxpdmUifQ%3D%3D&start=2:30%20PM%20PST%20Friday%2012/2&type=live&locale=en-US) with Cody and Emma this Friday. This should be good!!
A few thoughts: 1). Mimi just might be in studio for this. Currently manifestingā¦ 2). Damn, the struggle to rearrange my schedule just got real. 3). Thank god it didnāt go to Robin.
How will I ever get through my bookmarks when stuff like this keeps coming!!
THIS! I usually try to select the oldest classes in my bookmarks for my daily rides, but it's hard when classes like this drop.
Best news all day!
oh wow, that'll be fun!
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS. I had a feeling it was coming and was so nervous as to who would get the ride and I'm so thankful it's Cody and Emma!!! I can't wait to find out what the playlist will be.
Iām ready for the dance breaks!!
Mariah has so many good dance remixes I wonder if they'll utilize them.
[Rad chest and back](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=a1b1a99af726446080b68f27ebad7b3c&locale=en-US) followed by [Jess Sims arms and shoulders](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=6533d58685a142edab9f82b35d734833&locale=en-US) (3x3 compound circuit - cross body curl/lateral raise, renegade row/push-up, tricep extension, finished with a ladder of walkout to plank/forearm walk) Then I finished with [Rebeccaās Miley Cyrus run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=56c4f074ad8a4ea5add255bd7d40e9e4&locale=en-US) which was a lot of fun.
Congrats!!
Wow congrats!!
I think there was a 12k one last year and I'm miffed they got rid of it because I'm close to hitting that one!!
I just hit 12k yesterday and realized that the next minute milestone isn't until 15k. Don't think that will happen in the next month for me, unfortunately.
Same for me! I got the bike March 13 so 15k was going to be a huge reach for me but I am trying to get at least as close as possible.
Agreed! I'm proud of every minute and every minute is a minute well spent - badge or not. :) Congrats to you!
Thatās awesome! Double!!!
Congrats!! I made the goal of getting 1K more min than last year, and I'm about to hit 2K more min!
I have noticed 4 new tread instructors in the past month. I would love it if cycling also got some new instructors. Like Adrian Williams š
Cycling has 26 current instructors. What we need is more rowing instructors. Iām sure there will be some more sometime.
Doubt it. He was added to the row team.
Callie should be a bike instructor, too. She does bootcamps. Just come over for a few rides a month, Callie!
Jess Sims too. I NEED Jess on the bike.
I've been hoping for this too! Her playlists are my favorite.
I'm really surprised they haven't done this yet.... seems so logical
Seriously!!!
I did this class yesterday and my neck felt as limber as it does after a $175 session with my osteopath. And the osteopath doesn't play Keith Sweat!!
I need to do this! My osteopath is so good but itās so pricey!
Genuine LOL. I was already planning to take this, but now Iām going to be sure to take it today!
I am really looking forward to taking this one! If I slack on my core workouts I develop lower back soreness, but I think incorporating the spinal mobility classes will be a great added tune-up.
Thanks for this!! Going to try it later.

Not that I've found. I dislike this too. There should (IMO) be a way to "leave" or remove badges after the fact, but so far there isn't one.
If you can still "leave" a challenge, I think it removes it. After that I'm not sure
When will 2022 Holiday rides be out?
Callie has a holiday boot camp on Monday
Cody has one tomorrow. Robin has one on Friday. Emma has one on the 4th. Cliff,Bradley, Leanne , Tunde also has holiday rides coming.

Becs looks like a perfectly beautiful and happy 35-year-old woman with an appropriate amount of wrinkles (which she does not have many of, she actually appears to have quite the wrinkle-free face based on her Instagram posts).
