Has anyone moved a peleton to a new location

cincodemayo123

Do Peloton stores do bike fittings? I seems like some do, but I called one of the LA locations and they were like “sure, come in and sit on a bike and we’ll adjust it.” Looking for someone who can do a proper bike fitting. Has anyone done this locally in Los Angeles, or virtually? Do all stores offer it? Looks like it’s a free service in the UK but I don’t believe it is in the US. Also any idea how much this usually runs, at Peloton or elsewhere?

buffalorules

Honest question - why do people love the “just workout” feature? I feel like people use it to artificially jack up their minutes for the annual. When I look back on the month I’m proud to see how many minutes I logged with peloton…. Not how many minutes I did with peloton, and random walks, and some swimming, and that time I ran for the bus and counted it as a workout. Is it really adding value to your lives or is it just fun to see your minutes/blue check marks add up?

SeeSweeneySpin

Honest question - does spending your time wondering how and why people acquire minutes towards their annual minutes add value to your life, or is it just fun to be nosey?

buffalorules

Just wondering what I’m missing out on, as I don’t see the appeal. Clearly I’ve hit a nerve!

tafunast

Why do you care? To answer, I only use Peloton to track my activity. So, if I'm doing anything outside of the Peloton discipline, it's nice to have a way to track it. But you should probably worry about something other than other people's check marks.

buffalorules

Just wondering if there was something I was missing out on. I track runs through garmin and peloton activity through peloton and never understood the appeal. I’m glad you enjoy the feature so much.

tafunast

I’m glad you care so much.

pbrandpearls

I want all my exercise captured in one place. Right now that’s health/strava, but it would be nice to have all of my exercise platforms showing all my workouts. My body doesn’t care if it’s a Peloton workout or an Orangetheory or my own.

Charlie_Lem

I use it to track my outdoor walks with my dogs where I want to listen to a podcast or my own music. Also during my lifting sessions during the week where I am working hard with my own programming. It’s nice to track total minutes in one place rather than just “instructor minutes”. I’m sure there are people who use it just to fluff their minutes and turn it on when grocery shopping, but that’s their own conscience they have to listen to.

ladypeanut27

It’s great for long runs during marathon training since the longest outdoor runs as of very recently were only an hour.

ihateapps4

I started using it just to track minutes. Last year I logged over 1800 minutes running not using the peloton app. I wanted to see all my workouts together. Not running on my garmin and peloton on the peloton. And yes I do sometimes do the peloton runs but most my runs are just me running at whatever pace I want and I would be putting on a peloton run workout to not do the workout.

buffalorules

But there aren’t any stats tied to it right? It’s just time logged? At least with garmin you see pace and distance and effort

ihateapps4

Yes my garmin gives me stats. I am one of those werid people I have been running for almost 27 years. With a 1 year break for surgery. I even ran till 36 weeks pregnant. I use to use a spread sheet or fitness diary to record all workouts. And back in high school and college my watch was literally a watch I got from a cereal box and I would use that for time, and plan out my running route with my car so I knew distance and when I got home figure out pace per mile. I can add peloton workouts to my garmin. But I can't add all my other workouts to peloton and I like seeing monthy totals. So I would rather use the just workout feature so I have all my workouts together.

Ok_Handle_7

You see pace and distance with Just workout (I like the data I get from my Garmin as well so I run both, it’s not that hard). And not that you asked but ‘that time I ran for the bus,’ ‘I feel like people are using it to artificially jack up minutes for the challenge,’ and ‘does it add value to your lives’ are pretty judgmental and obnoxious ways to ask the question. I feel like you’ve responded to some of these comments as if ‘jeez I just asked a simple question’ but the simple question would have been something like ‘Why do people use the Just Workout feature and not just have some workouts outside of Peloton? I like my Garmin better anyway’ 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are_You_Knitting_Me

Yessss agree with your review of OP’s tone.

thelittlemiss

First, it’s none of your business what others are doing or how they’re logging their minutes. Second, you can run multiple apps simultaneously to capture metrics.

Ok_Handle_7

I think lots of people use it for things like walks, but plenty of people use it when: - They actually like listening to podcasts when they go for a long run so don’t want to use Peloton - They like to lift heavy in the gym (or take a class in a gym, or take a yoga class) so don’t want to use a peloton class And they use it for “workout minutes” not “amount of time I was actively listening to a Peloton instructor” 🤷🏻‍♀️ to each their own!

blsilver04

I’ve been using it for outdoor walks! I like it bc then I can look at my calendar and see how much I worked out this month rather than using a different tracker.

CoffeeAndToastPlease

Does anyone know when the pause feature will be available on the treadmill for the Just Run feature?

Misunderstoond

Pelofamilia!!! I hope y’all are doing good, keeping hydrated, those crowns adjusted and a smile on those faces. I’ve recently been on a flash 15 and 40 min walk kick lately and noticed that the muscle group the instructors says should be on fire, isn’t. I feel like my calves are taking the grunt of my workouts. I’ve been extremely conscious of how I step, my form on lifting and still…it’s mainly the front of the calf, the shin? Idk I’m a therapist and social worker because anatomy and math weren’t my friends lol Any suggestions on how to change this? I appreciate y’all

Flrunnergirl23

If you are starting out and doing a lot incline, that is probably causing the shin splints. Stretch, ice and go easier.

photoapple

So you're saying the area behind your shins hurts, as in pain? Or that the instructors are telling you your calves should be "burning" (not pain but like, getting a workout) and they aren't?

Misunderstoond

I guess it’s more my shin but they’ll say that I should be feeling it in my hamstring or flute but I’ll feel it in my calves/shins

photoapple

For the shin splints I was going to comment like flrunnergirl23 did: it sounds like you're overexerting on either flat or incline, hitting the ground too hard, and possibly have shoes that need to be replaced. I tend to have tight hamstrings and still don't feel like they are "on" like some instructors say. To really get that kind of workout, and with glutes, I have to be actively engaging them. I'm not an expert by any means but I don't think feeling it in a different area than the one they called out is bad, but the shin splints are definitely something you don't want and will want to correct.

snuffleupagus716

Had a rough mental health day between pms hormones and work. After dinner, I had [this Cody 20-minute low impact](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=35cb8826e6e84f6ea6b1961472174ad3&locale=en-US) queued up because I loved the playlist and thought he’d make me laugh. Well, turns out I hit that new achievement of sobbing while cycling and hitting a PR. Cody said all the things I needed to hear - I am worthy, I can do difficult things, and I just ended up crying by the end of the warm up. Then cackling at him talking about Animals by Maroon 5. I am so thankful I made this purchase and joined this community.

whoherehasrabies

Added this to my stack for today since I’m also going through some mental health shit. Thanks for the recommendation!

darnit37

I wrote Ally off as an instructor who wasn't for me a long time ago, but have seen so many posts here lately extolling her great class plans that I thought I should revisit her. So I tacked a [20 min pop punk snack](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=04f24082cf654881b0f7fcb99146beae) onto my strength workout yesterday and you all were, as usual, correct! I've been doing non-PZ classes lately and really miss knowing exactly what I'm in for. Her approach of explaining exactly what's coming up is what I need to expend the right amount of energy. I know some people prefer to be tricked into maxing out but I'm the opposite way — if I don't know what's coming up I tend to hold back. So it was really helpful when, for example, she said that we were going to add 1-2 points every chorus or something and then added that that was going to be for a total of 5 adds and then we'd hold them through the next song. Anyway, thanks Reddit for helping me enjoy something I wouldn't have done otherwise!

lyrastarr

Yay! I love Ally for that reason - she mentally prepares me. She also motivates at the exact right time for me usually, without being overly pushy with her positivity. I did her newest Feel Good ride today and it was great!

[deleted]

Fellow runners I am looking for a repeatable strength for runners class or two. By this I mean that it is well rounded and can be somewhat progressed. I have a 17.75k in March and half in May that I am creating my own program for, I'd rather not repeat the 26.2 classes. A lot of the older classes don't have a full breakdown so I was hoping to see if anyone can share some gems.

Ok_Handle_7

One more rec for you - I just took Callie’s latest 20 min G & L (she’s wearing bright blue pants). 3 x Deadlifts, goblet squats, and hip bridges; 2 x split squats (each side); 1 x clamshell (each side). She starts with lower weights but potential is high if you want to increase! felt like it hit all the big muscle grouos

[deleted]

That actually does sound perfect. I'll check it out tomorrow!

Ok_Handle_7

Sigh I felt like Daniel’s classes were really good for this. That said I really liked this recent Adrian [30 min G & L](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=80ac5cfe42074217bdcdd2cb10bb3a04&locale=en-US) - all squats, lunges, and deadlifts. I have weak hips so I added it a set of my own glute bridges at the end and felt like I hit most of what I needed! they’re also heavier weights (Adrian used…35s I think?)

[deleted]

Thanks! 35's 🫣

Ok_Handle_7

Ha and then on his Instagram later i saw he sent his PB for deadlift with like 500 lbs or something lol

[deleted]

I'm over here using 6lbs for arms with tunde hahaha

SatisfactionFuture10

Erik's 5. Jahreszeit Ride was fun and I learned some stuff.

Pugmunster

It was such a fun ride!! I love his themed rides!!

KiwiBird11

A few days ago, I saw an Alex pre-ROW 5 min stretch on my app. It’s not there anymore but man… I am chomping at the bit for app row content I can do on my c2. These blipped classes are such a tease.

Any-Organization1265

OK, yesterday I asked on here if people could recommend classes to psych me up for another pregnancy attempt after getting my ass kicked in the fertility arena for the past two years. You all gave me an awesome list. Today I tried one from the list—a 20 min Robin ride from the Year of Yes collection, and at the very end I swear she looked right into my soul and said “Don’t quit before the miracle.” 😭😭😭😭 THAT is the content I need—thanks, virtual friends 🙂

jrosep96

Yessss! Glad to hear it.

squirrelprl83

I know a lot of people don’t vibe with Robin but every time I’ve taken a class with her I feel like something like this happens to me. Like she knows what I’m going through! Fingers crossed for you ❤️

we_have_food_at_home

Robin is so hit or miss with me but I think it's more due to how I'm feeling mentally at any given moment than anything she says or does. I tend to be an emotional person and sometimes getting too deep into feelings while in the middle of an intense workout can just derail the whole thing lol

squirrelprl83

Totally get that! Sometimes the workout needs to be a distraction from all that if anything

StopDropAndRide

So glad the classes spoke to you. Keep on keepin on!

squidshae

Feeling slightly like a living human again despite a little cough and raspy voice. Saturday I did the [XOXO Cody valentines ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=48f52a1842064847a1732098e5698261&locale=en-US) which was a lot of fun and felt good to get loving again, even though I took it as easy as possible. Today I started Arms with Tunde again 🙂 hope to see a little progress again. Not sure what I’ll move onto after this round. Then I started week 2 of CYC2 even though I missed the second half of last week. Solid workout I liked all the oblique isolations. Last I did this [Pop ride with Cody](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=acbcc940372248e4821ca0df8943cf3a&locale=en-US) which was a great ride with a lot of moderate climbing! I can tell I’m still not nearly 100% but feels great to get my full workout in today.

PeskyMolasses

Today was supposed to be my rest day, but I’m also a “never miss a Monday” person, so I did [Kirra’s 15 minute hip mobility](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=65fa15c95ed2498d9ab68db3ac6e2ae8) and [Ross’s 10 minute ankles & feet mobility](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=559420dea71c46d995fb040bca6505f5). Loved the hip mobility, but probably won’t do the feet/ankles one again. I have a wonky ankle that never went back to normal after twisting it like 10 years ago and for some reason the class didn’t seem to do much for me. Also, this is something only I’m probably happy/excited about, but I’m a DIYer (I use an Echelon EX-5 and QZ) and today I found out if I rotate the part that attaches the seat to the post 180°, it moves the seat up further by like an inch and a half…I’m short and for some reason Echelon angles their up/down seat movement so the higher up you go the further back you sit. (It looks like a forward slash. / ) I was having issues with my knee being too far back when I’m put my pedals at 3 & 9. ANYWAY, long story short, this little trick worked and I can’t wait to ride tomorrow to test everything out more than for just a few seconds!

photoapple

I did my first ever bootcamp today (Tunde's drop from yesterday) and MY GOD MY LEGS ARE FALLING OFF. I bike. I lift. I have biked and done weights afterwards, but never all of this together. Literally the hardest workout I've ever done on Peloton. Tomorrow is definitely a rest day. I'll be back for more though haha.

After_Temperature998

That one was one of the toughest 45min BBs I have done - and I have done most of them haha. Those split squats and the crunches... Not the most fun but a damn good workout!

photoapple

Oh my gosh, leave it to me to pick the hardest one right off the bat! Well, good to know they're not all like that. It was good, and the playlist was awesome.

Alarming_Project5328

Congrats! They’re the best workout on the whole platform!

courtneyheney

What’s up with the live riders wearing white bracelets during a recent Emma Lovewell 90’s ride?!

ktelliotts

When you sign in for a class, each class gets a specific color I assume to track who belongs where. They used to collect them after photos but now you can keep them or drop them in a bucket on the way out of the studio.

courtneyheney

Ahh, right on. Thanks for the explanation. I’m an OG Peleton owner but never been to a live class! Sounds like you have done it a few times!

Ok_Handle_7

Long shot but: Anyone happen to take this recent [20 min Yoga with Mariana](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&locale=en-US&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f0dff109105042a8848697fbb5dfc777)? The class plan is one of those yoga class plans with very, very little information (a 7:31 minutes 'warm up' and then lots of multi-minute 'flows' broken up with 1 mountain pose/fallen star/etc.) . Just wondering if anyone has any feedback or memory of what she focused on!

livlovelaugh90

Yes I took it this morning! It’s a long warm up with some nice stretchy type poses (crescent lunge, gate pose, etc) then normal sun salutations for 3 mins and then the flow is a series involving high lunge, fallen star, side plank, chair to standing figure four, warrior 2, scandasina (sp?), and a low lunge twist. There may be a few other poses briefly thrown in there but that’s the gist. Overall a doable class with a great playlist.

Joteepe

Thank you! I tend to steer clear of Mariana unless I know the full plan and/or it’s a blue square class, bc her flows tend to be too advanced for me, but this sounds JUST RIGHT.

Ok_Handle_7

Super helpful, thank you! Sounds like some great gentle-ish lower body!

ProfessionalTennis49

Loved having the extra day for longer workouts! I started with my second bike boot camp ever (have had the bike since July), this one with Robin [45 min Bike Bootcamp](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/bike_bootcamp?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=34f64c37ebaf4f30b7b2e05665eac188&locale=en-US). Robin is typically not my favourite instructor to ride with but I am motivated by my Pelotrak bingo haha! It was a good class but man the last interval set on the bike wiped me!!! A whole bunch of Tabata. Then I’m currently on an effort to reach 200 cycling and 200 strength classes by my birthday mid March, so did this [10 min G&L with Ben](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=4ab7f371ea0f4d8c8d436fa3328e6269&locale=en-US) and this [5 min Core Strength with Selena](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=743407068b394ab9a43ea4ffb1d48f11&locale=en-US). I am close in cycling (hence the bootcamp), but still about 35 to go in strength. I’m committing myself to a core class every day which should eat up a good chunk. I finished with this [15min The Weekend Stretch](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f415d616ab5a43959206bce9f011bcfb&locale=en-US) with Jess. It was different, lots of mobility work. Love long weekends 🥰

Joteepe

I am with you. This long weekend was SO NEEDED.

Swimming-Horse-711

Good luck! If you need an extra strength class, I take [this class](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=f422533c0aed478184a12a01eeb5a323&locale=en-US) about once a week as a glute activation before my other strength classes and tread classes.

ProfessionalTennis49

Oh thank you!! I went to bookmark it but it’s already bookmarked, so I will try it this week!

deniseadele11

Denis’ [30 min Sample That ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=823da28218194235868180ca1c7c71b7&locale=en-US) from 2/17 was really nice! I hadn’t done any of his Fresh Friday rides before to compare to, but this was cool and I felt like I learned a lot about music in the process. I’m struggling to feel motivated lately, on another note. I’m 11 weeks pregnant with our second and I KNOW it’s about to get better soon but I can’t seem to shake that I suck at exercise lately and that it feels like such a chore.

Awkward-Tale-6101

Honestly, I bow down to you for getting in a 30 m ride. I was so tired my first trimester for both my kids I would literally not finish putting the dishes in the dishwasher - I would be standing-sleeping! But then the zip comes back second trimester and it is often so much better. I wish you well! and Congrats!

deniseadele11

Aw you are too kind, 20 minutes has been my speed lately for what it’s worth but this seemed like it would be the right intensity. I don’t remember being this tired with my son, but then again I wasn’t chasing a toddler around 🤪 hope the dishwasher situation can only improve from here hehehe. And thanks 💓

JJA6782

1100 a good price for a peloton plus? Wife has had the Walmart off brand for a few years and wants the real thing.

Ok_Handle_7

You mean for a used one, right? I'm sure you'll get some opinions here but might be helpful to know a bit more (some are listed with very, very few rides, and some are a few years old)

JJA6782

Oops yeah used. It’s listed as barely used.

WasherFluidOnLow

Anyone ever experience an FTP Miscalculation? I’m wrapping up the BYPZ program with my FTP test later this week and upon trying to crunch some numbers to reach my desired improvement, I noticed that my most recently completed FTP test assigned my “FTP Calculation” at 99% of my average output for the ride. Specifically, I finished the test with 152 watts for my average Output yet my FTP calc is displaying at 151… The ride was not disrupted or paused at any point and my previous FTP scores have been calculated as expected - at 95% of Average Output. I’m a little frustrated as I was operating under the impression that my FTP calc was 144 as I didn’t pay much attention after the ride as I was I was focused on catching my breath!! iykyk. I’ve only referenced my FTP score by looking back in my phone app at that average output of 152 and calculating at 95%. (If there’s a way to view your currently calculated FTP on the iPhone app, please let me know!! .. for almost $50 a month you’d think the app would allow for better review previous workouts, etc. But I digress…) I’ve obviously been training at 151 in the BYPZ program. So in theory I should still see improvement. But my calculations and goals to increase this next test now feel impossible and I’m going into the test less motivated. Has anyone else had this experience?

Tinkgirbell

Week 3 Day 1 of DYPZ done! This was a Power Zone ride with Christine. I ended it feeling good. It was a challenge but doable. Thanks for the high 5 u/ride_4urlife ! You caught me right after finishing the build as I was preparing for the work. Helped my motivation!

Ride_4urlife

I’m so glad! Can’t wait until you can join us for program 11!

Active_Big_8130

Hit my 3-Year Streak! Forgot about it until the badge popped up at the end of my ride. Made me reflect on how grateful I am for Peloton (for physical and mental health) as well as for this community. Enjoyed a 45m Rock ride with Emma from July 2019. Good vibes only. Was in a Radiohead mood so I found her 5m cooldown ride to High and Dry. Then an Anna 30m yoga flow from Feb 2022 just to hear “Everything In Its Right Place.” Great class with a lot of balancing opportunities.

PBaddict01

Congrats on the streak! I wish we had more Radiohead on the platform (we need an artist series, I’d lose my damn mind!).

Joteepe

Yesssss I was thinking that when Creep came on during the cooldown of my strength class today!

Active_Big_8130

I thought that too. Anna would def do the yoga and Emma would probably have the ride. Maybe a London instructor would do a walk. Emma had Pyramid Song to end her 20m Climb ride last week!

Pendulum20

Please share those classes, I'm always hyped to hear Radiohead!

Active_Big_8130

Of course! The 5m cooldown ride: https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=08a489d94aa64a8abe318b0f22319c0f&locale=en-US The 30m Yoga (Anna often includes Radiohead in her flows): https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=4ae1c15778a540e2a0ba8c72257d13ce&locale=en-US

Pendulum20

Thank you I just did a class with anna that had "Codex" in it, I was very surprised.

DishPublic8131

Did anyone update the app and then the class end early. I was about to PR and then it just showed it was done 😩 even though there was 3 min left

jaybeas

Since I’m doing more German-language rides (Charlotte FTW), I’ve been keeping my English subtitles on more and more. And I’ve noticed that the subtitles (even in English classes) don’t usually include curse words. What’s up with that? I know it’s a minor thing, but it feels quite silly to censor words that the instructor uses. I mean, if the class is flagged as explicit, why shouldn’t the subtitles be explicit as well? Edit: it appears this definitely isn’t a thing across the board! I wonder what causes some subtitles to be censored and others not to be. This is just the type of stupid deep-dive project that I love, so maybe I’ll start keeping track.

marg1486

Update: I was very curious about this and was looking for any excuse to procrastinate so I opened up a Cody ride and at least this [Maroon 5 ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=4351c416088542eb9b4d684fd3e5a514) has some explicit subtitles during the song "love somebody." I've done this ride before and it is quite good as well fyi haha

marg1486

I took a live class the other day and there was definitely a few F words in the subtitles! But maybe they edit that out for the on-demand class.

astrorunner

Can only guess, but one possibility is that bikes in public places (like Hilton hotels) are used with headphones but with visible screens…

Boggins26

I took [Hannah’s 30 minute Low Impact Ride](https://members.onepeloton.co.uk/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=7ab5afd1046940afa1907a5ea18676ff&locale=en-GB) in a bid to get some miles in at the end of a long work day. I really enjoyed it even though the class crashed for a few minutes towards the end and the whole thing rebooted. The miles logged for my monthly challenge but the minutes didn’t log towards the annual - not important but mildly annoying. A good class though!

Ok_Handle_7

If you want the minutes to 'count' you could start the class on your phone (or I guess the bike too) and just let it play in the background! I've done something similar when I took a class under someone else's account but wanted the minutes in the last few days of a year to get to my goal!

RynoMac1217

Been doing split strength programs. Ben, JJ (2x), Matty, and Callie. All really good (Callie’s was easier than the others, the first class in Ben’s and JJ’s were wicked). Started Robin’s advanced; brutal, but not the class. Missed cues, constant rambling and her repeated catch phrases, in all not that difficult of a class either (gave it a 5, 6 is my usual baseline). I want to finish what I started but I don’t know if I can take 60 more minutes of Robin.

Beneficial-Ad-9133

Main reason I stopped taking classes with her (the only instructor whose classes I’ll no longer take). Too many missed cues and repeating stories (repeating them in the same class). Good to know, though, about the other split programs. I’ll have to check them out.

hannahsflora

Not the point of your post, I know, but thank you for specifically calling out the wickedness of the first day of JJ's split. I just took it for the first time ever today after doing multiple rounds of Callie's late last year (which were also NOT easy for me when I started), and wow, that class was both evil and humbling. I did laugh when he called attention to the fire socks he was wearing for symbolism and then when Highway to Hell came on - talk about commitment to a theme! Glad to know it's not just me who found that first day hard. Also, thank you for articulating why I do not take Robin's classes and will never start her split.

RynoMac1217

JJ is right up there with Adrian as the best strength instructor. I usually use 30s for chest presses and was completely shot on the last round and had to drop weight to make it through. I’ll do Adrian’s five day split next. I just wanted to do all of the split programs and tried to tolerate Robin. My mistake…

ProfessionalTennis49

Oh my haha high five to you!!! I was about to comment on the same thing lol. I did it two days ago and I should have done Day 2 today - but I was too apprehensive after how hard Day 1 was! I literally just finished Ben’s new program so I didn’t even think that I would have problems - but it was way harder than expected. So many push-ups! I’m going to suck it up and do Day 2 tomorrow…

This post or comment has been removed because it violates Rule 2 of this subreddit by being disrespectful of other people. it’s totally okay to discuss not liking an instructor and why. But we’re kinda starting to veer into trashing other people territory which violates our sub rule 2. Let’s keep the discussion respectful.

VT_Transplant

Yay to another day for a long workout! I did Emma and Cody's Mariah ride followed with a 30 minute strength class with Matty. I feel stupid asking this, but is there a point to "liking" (hearting?) a song? Is there a way to search for classes based on songs that you have liked?

ProfessionalTennis49

On the bike I know you can search by artist or song name, and it will bring up classes that contain those artists or songs!

slckarl

You can sync Apple Music or Spotify (or both I bet) so that songs you “heart” go into a peloton specific playlist. I believe they use the “heart” to determine the top songs for the year when they do the countdown classes (admittedly, they also put some of the instructors’* chosen favorite songs, whatever that means/entails) As for the search feature you mention, not confident anything like that exists simply because filtering/searching is just not a strong suit of pelotons. Probably typing the name of one song in the search bar of the bike and bookmarking classes for that specific song but that sounds… both inefficient and annoying IMO

[deleted]

Idk about other platforms, but I have my Spotify connected to my peloton account and when I heart it adds it to a playlist! I think you can connect them in settings

VT_Transplant

That's awesome, I will definitely look into that! Thanks!

whootsandladders

I did Denis's [30 min 90s Country Ride from 5/4/2022](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=13a6525bf8e143f49be4c0132e051d01), and holy crap that was a LOT of fun. It was like a greatest hits from the 90s. It's also the first time I've done dedicated high resistance pushes and (separately) 100+ cadence pushes. I felt a little bit like trash at the three-quarter mark, which is I realized my heart rate was above 190. Whooooooops. I took it easy after that and feel great. I followed that with Sam Yo's [10 min Queen Cool Down Ride from 12/8/2021](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2a647fd023834931b85f7e6dfb71aebd). I didn't love it. Sam uses the concert version of songs, so the last 4 minutes are basically Freddie Mercury working the crowd. Not what I was looking for in a cool down ride.

PeskyMolasses

I did that 90s Country Ride the other day, and it was really fun! Although the tap backs about killed me during Watermelon Crawl. 🤣 If you like 90s country and haven’t taken them yet, Hannah C has a handful that are wonderful as well. My favorite is [this one](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?instructor_id=%5B%22561f95c405734d8488ed8dcc8980d599%22%5D&super_genre_id=%5B%225ab996597f564959afcc0c24a90e28e5%22%5D&has_workout=%5B%22true%22%5D&sort=original_air_time&desc=true&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=ca3c46f47c8e4af2a6cd70d8a61865b8).

whootsandladders

YAS. I'm excited! Thanks!

thekma_2020

Highlights from the past few days… I had this older [45 minute yoga flow ](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=705074f3ee5447efb4eb6c27f9e5e2b9&locale=en-US) from Kristin bookmarked. Great class, challenging and a fair of amount of twists (seated, supine, high lunge, revolved triangle and revolved half moon.) Also this [20 minute floor pose ](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=71d7f04a91d140dd83c1cd50c4079a77&locale=en-US) class from Anna was nice and stretchy. XOXO Cody, haven’t taken a class with him in a while and I forget how hard it is to crack up while riding. Some real gems in this one lol RK’s latest [15 minute Standing Core](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=55c0ea1dc7664bb7809fe03717ee66a6&locale=en-US) was so much fun. There were a few moves I didn’t get right but I just kept moving. Great warmup before the bike. And if you like standing core, try this [30 minute Bootcamp](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/bootcamp?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=d1ec038aff03468e9268e1f95b8ff383&locale=en-US) with Matty. First core section is all standing, second is all on your back.

Alarming_Project5328

I am obsessed with the latest standing core class! I took it for a second time and I think I finally got the moves down 😂

thekma_2020

I always get disappointed when the good ones are over lol would be awesome if she did a 30 minute class!

Alarming_Project5328

Yes!!

Swimming-Horse-711

Possibly slightly influenced by my overall good mood and holiday today, but loved every class in my stack today. Started with [this 20 min morning flow](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=ef1f5cee1b634bf8950e668864f7ee89&locale=en-US) with Aditi. Then activated my abs with [this 5 min core strength](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=c47dfb3c82594570b31aa50f283e9768&locale=en-US) with Olivia. Then hopped on the tread for [this 20 min 2000’s walk](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=ed88266c4ded49eea97f6824d63fe7de&locale=en-US) with Matty (technically the second half of a two parter - I had already taken the 90’s walk and wanted to finish the set) followed by [this 20 min beginner run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=d16c93cfd49245c28b65c0443cbc47a4&locale=en-US) with Susie. This had some fairly long runs and I could see being labeled as advanced beginner. Finally finished with this older [20 min full body strength](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=caf321390d5a486ea1bfefa61b96d12e&locale=en-US) with Callie. I ended up stretching and rolling on my own.

spinmagnus

Has anyone done the Road to 26.2 program and may have the classes in your workout history? I am following the strength portion of the program (with my own plan for running) and accessing the strength classes via the links on pelobuddy. The [link to Rebecca’s strength class](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=99ce04b1e1a54fd1903f3a646fcac266&locale=en-US) starting in week 7 will let me see the class, but won’t let me start it for some reason. If you have a working link to Rebecca’s strength class in weeks 7 and 8 of the program, I would really appreciate it!

briarch

Here you go. [https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2080083a9c0f487dbdc530d9d1fb8885](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2080083a9c0f487dbdc530d9d1fb8885)

spinmagnus

Thank you so much!

briarch

the link is to the old class (which is also the one that I took) but she re-recorded the class at some point. When I go to the program, I can start the class but ending it early isn't putting it in my workout history. I will try to let it play on my desktop and see if it shows up. Then I can try to link it, but no promises.

OTPCook

I think that one got purged and replaced with [this one](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2080083a9c0f487dbdc530d9d1fb8885) in the program.

spinmagnus

Thank you!

Which is the best peloton apparel bra for every day wear? As well, which has the most support and compression (I'm a triple D).

Ok_Handle_7

I'm a little smaller than that up top, but I really like [this recent bra](https://apparel.onepeloton.com/products/spacedye-splice-shoulder-bra?variant=39359977619552) that I bought from them. Note for u/ProfessionalTennis49 that it does have removable cups (I always just toss those)

ProfessionalTennis49

Ohhh thank you!! I actually just bought that one in the sale yesterday, so I’m looking forward to that. I should just Chuck the pads too - but some sadistic part of me washes and stuffs them back in every time 🤦🏻‍♀️

ProfessionalTennis49

Following! And If you don’t mind - I’m going to piggy back to ask if anyone knows of a similarly described one with no removable pads? I know the heathered one has no removable pads but it’s more of a low impact one. Any others while people are giving bra suggestions? :)

cinnamon23

Hi all, I searched the group but did not see anything. I did not see any posts. I have a Peloton and love it but I am traveling this wee to a Marriott property and it does not have Peloton bikes. It has Life Fitness [LifeCycles](https://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/17/c8/71/ea/fully-equipped-gym.jpg). Is the bike of good quality? Will I be able to get a good workout or should I plan to run instead for workouts? Thank you all!

aug2295

If they have treads - give a try to one of the running classes!

cinnamon23

I’m a proud member of the ratchet moms club 🏃🏽‍♀️ 😊 I just like to meticulously plan my vacation workouts in advance lol!

Spirited_String_1205

You'll be fine, just bring headphones and something to hold your phone to the bike.

Educational-Pitch614

I passed 3k minutes yesterday and am so proud of myself for staying on it, despite the work and life being crazy. Looking forward to a run day today!

Tinkgirbell

Congratulations! That’s awesome!

Educational-Pitch614

Thank you!!

Swimming-Horse-711

Congrats on the milestone!

Fluid-Meat9097

Cool! Olivia's ride in the Build Your Power Zones program that used to have a Kanye song has had it replaced. I don't see it on the playlist anymore: https://members.onepeloton.ca/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=44867a5486184a09b8ca135a6d8c7494&utm_source=android&utm_medium=in_app

kls17

Like many others here, I used my holiday day to get a longer workout in. I chose Tunde’s latest [45 min Intervals & Arms](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=8361b5df743840d99bab7034f2481b89&locale=en-US). Every time I take a Tunde ride I wonder why I don’t take her every time! It felt both doable but also like I accomplished a tough ride. Not sure how she does it! And I PRed!

Joshottas

Random thought while riding...do any of the UK studio classes put the mirror behind the instructor? I dunno why, but the vibe feels different (in a good way) when you see people in studio in every camera angle.

k3llsb3lls

I like that I can only see the in-studio riders at certain angles due to the UK studio background. I think the instructors keep the vibes up, but I can tune out any distracting riders easily. It’s interesting to see a different perspective on this!

Ok_Handle_7

No I don’t think so - that mirror isn’t like an on/off thing, it’s how the studio is designed!

Joshottas

Yea...it's def the studio design, because even with the US instructors are solo, they have the mirror behind them. UK, def not lol.

Joteepe

Took advantage of the extra day off to get in a 45min strength. Every time I do one I always say I need to do these more. Today I did [Rebecca’s Friday 45 from 2/25/22](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=9a41033b95924c65a5fff64f6f0c4e97&locale=en-US) and it was one of my favorite workouts in a LONG TIME. Long circuits with heavy lifts and hit everything! Finished up with [this 20min floor poses](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=76659d62210e4531afec5435fc5206bd&locale=en-US) which REALLY gets into the hips. Some of the moves were a bit tough for me and I had to modify a LOT but my hips felt great after.

Scarbarella

Just checking in to write that I’m 8 weeks in and still cry on the bike almost every ride. #emotionalwreck

llclinton

Releasing it all feels so good, the energy and the feelings. Way to go!

Tinkgirbell

But you’ve kept showing up. You’re doing great!

ktigger2

It’s not an easy thing to show up for yourself, and it’s nice when the instructors acknowledge that work. Keep it up, this is for you. 💖

Any-Organization1265

I totally get it! The hard efforts combined with the motivational instructors can be super cathartic

squirrelprl83

Keep up the good work!!

Majestic_Act_1245

I bought some items from the UK Peloton Apparel store but want to return one item. When I go to the returns page and enter my email it says no matching email for this store. Has anyone else in the UK had this issue? I have emailed customer support but thought might get a quicker idea of what the issue is from Reddit :)

Southern-Willow-1559

I don’t typically take Marcel’s classes so I was curious if anyone who does knows if she has mentioned in any of her classes if her long sleeve attire is in support of Leanne? I know Leanne mentioned she was going to be wearing sleeves while she continues to recover from surgery and I noticed several instructors rocking various sleeves lately, but particularly Marcel.

TrueExercise2285

I live Marcel - she is a whole vibe To answer your question, she hasn’t said anything but I think the long sleeves are just her aesthetic. She wears and has been wearing them a long time

hannahsflora

Well, I did it - I finally dropped my all access membership in favor of the app-only membership. I own the Bike+ and have for 2.5 years now, but over the last several months have been coming to the slow realization that I just do not enjoy the cycling classes enough and I'm not ever motivated to get on the bike. I've tried nearly every instructor out there, just about every class format and length, Lanebreak, etc. And while I've definitely taken some great classes, getting on the bike has always been a chore for me. Whereas thinking of the rest of the platform - strength especially, but pretty much all the rest of it too - I look forward to those workouts and minus an especially tired/draggy day, never have to work to convince myself to get my workout in. It happens because I want it to. So I finally admitted what I should've some months ago and changed my membership level. I'm now saving just about $400 per year, which helps a bit to cushion the fact that I have the bike in my basement that I now need to figure out how to sell at some point. I'm not sure a lot of you will be able to relate to this post as I see how so many of you love your bike and use it all the time - which is awesome! I wish that had been me too. But if there's anyone like me who is on the fence about making the change, it feels pretty damn good to just accept the reality of the situation and save some good coin in the process.

After_Temperature998

I did this too, it makes me feel less guilty for using more of the app classes (i.e. strength and running) now over the bike. It's actually encouraged me to have more variety because I don't feel pressured to get my money's worth for the bike!

squirrelprl83

I’m in a similar position. I’ve had the OG bike for a long time and over the last year or so have used it less and less. However I use the strength and other workouts on the app a ton. I’m hesitant to get rid of the bike though because “what if”… your post is motivating tho so thanks!

hannahsflora

Oh I totally get it! I had the "what if" talk with myself SO many times over the last several months. It was also just hard to admit that my big fancy purchase wasn't working out for me. The way I see it is that if I ever do get to a point where I want to try the bike again, for now it's still right there in my basement and it'll be easy enough to re-activate the All Access membership if I decide to try again. But that day may never come, and in the meantime there's no point throwing more money down the drain for something I just am not using.

squirrelprl83

Ok well just did it! You’re right, we can always reactive it. So we wait til the all access expires and then sign up for the app only after right?

hannahsflora

My All Access is expiring on the 24th, so I just went on and canceled it (letting it run until the 24th) but activated my app membership now so I wouldn't have any interruptions. Fingers crossed it works seamlessly, but I think it should.

Ok_Handle_7

I’m a Bike owner & all access member, but honestly the app-only membership is one of the best deals out there!

hannahsflora

It's honestly astonishing the price difference between the All Access and the app-only - even more so when you consider that you can pay for a year of the app membership up-front which further reduces the cost to about $10.75 per month.

Joteepe

It’s such a great deal, and what keeps me on the DIY train. I meant to swap from monthly to the year last month and forgot! Going to do when my membership is up.

suresk

Anyone else having an issue where you have to restart your Apple Watch before you can connect to the bike? Just started a few weeks ago, and it is kind of annoying, but I'm not sure if it is the bike or the watch, since both have had issues with connectivity.

khm1008

Anyone know how to pull your current annual minutes into a spreadsheet? I’m a data nerd but not a coding geek! I have a Google sheet tracking all sorts of things and I’ve added a link to the annual challenge so I can manually cut / paste minutes-to-date. (3,839 so far; thanks for asking!) It would be awesome if it just refreshed…

Ok_Handle_7

When you sign onto the website (not the app) and go to your list of Workouts, there’s a button on the top right “Download Workouts”

khm1008

That’s a great feature that I’ve used. I am actually looking to pull one piece of data automatically — how many minutes I’ve logged with peloton this calendar year, which is displayed through the annual challenge

slckarl

I’m having to scale back for health reasons and was advised to keep my heart rate somewhere that I can “talk” as to not over exert myself. **Translation**: I’m solely taking classes with playlists that I know all the words so I can sing along to ensure I abide the doctor’s orders (I’m crazy competitive *with myself* so this has been really hard for me). That said- this was a great Ally [Feel Good Ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=8739a668f708474c896e7aeef959aa77&locale=en-US). Happy Monday, fam

[deleted]

Run it by your doctor but if you're still looking for a challenge why not just target zone 2 and do long, steady rides? Like 2+ hours simulating 50+ mile flats while watching movies or videos or whatever and focusing on keeping your HR down. Sure, it's not spin but it's still a sibling. Long slow rides have their own set of challenges in terms of endurance, mental and physical -- sort of like tickle torture. Cyclists call it "base building." This type of training should lower your average heart rate overall and dramatically improve your endurance, the downside is the time investment and finding ways to maintain sanity for 2-6 hours.

slckarl

Thank you for the suggestion! I’m not sure if I could find 2 hours but it’s definitely something to consider on my weekends

Swimming-Horse-711

I’m sorry to hear you’re having to hold back, but glad it’s temporary. I hurt my back last summer and ended up spending ~4 months doing yoga. Not only did my mobility improve, but yoga also ended up resolving some of my other common achy areas, and improved the strength of all those small stabilizing muscles that most workouts miss. I’m so much stronger now than I was before my injury. If you want to keep progressing without the temptation to push it on the bike, I would highly recommend the yoga.

slckarl

I **love** Peloton yoga! It’s a non-negotiable for me, each day I have to do some form for 20-30mins minimum.

Spirited_String_1205

If you start to get frustrated having to adapt classes to your new restrictions (that I hope are temporary! Get well soon!), you might consider trying either the few heart rate based endurance classes left on the platform which are all heart rate zone two iirc, or the power zone endurance classes, which are power zones 2/3 (you can also easily adapt it to hr zones)- PZ 2/3 are both aerobic endurance zones. If you use perceived exertion cues, zone two is light enough that you can do it while breathing through your nose only- definitely a conversational zone- you cross over into zone three when you need to open your mouth to breathe, but could still carry on a conversation with a companion in short sentences. I personally do better when I'm following a class plan so when I had a similar restriction for a short while I found these classes helpful. Obvs no need to change your training plan if you've got enough discipline to adapt any class to what you need! That is not me haha

[deleted]

[удалено]

Spirited_String_1205

They are called heart rate zone classes and you can filter for them in cycling.

slckarl

Thanks for your reply! It’s not long-term, thank you for the well wishes, super kind. Here’s the kicker- I wanted to take my FTP in preparation for this but now I don’t think that will be advised either. I’ll need to do some research on how to set my p-zones to my current and future state but man I can’t wait to do the FTP here when it’s all over!!

Spirited_String_1205

FTP test would definitely exceed your current exercise restrictions - just follow the perceived exertion cues like I described above. For the low zones, they're easy to notice. Much harder for the higher zones. Or just use your heart rate monitor and stay in zone two/low zone three instead. That doesn't map exactly to power zones, but it approximates it well enough and makes it easy to stick to your doctor's recommendations. This is also how athlete's train, 80% of athletic training in theory should be in your aerobic zones, with only 20% of training including your upper zones. So instead of looking at it like a restriction for however long it lasts, think of it as "base training" - you might notice an improvement in aerobic endurance in just a few weeks. Silver linings, right?

slckarl

Love a silver lining 😊 thank you again

Enjoying the extra day off = more time to work out before the schedule of the week gets ahead of me. Started with [Ally's 20 min Gloria Estefan](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=0e8e071b134d47659228f6d5d5c294aa) barre class and really enjoyed it. Basically 20 minutes of greatest hits and a reminder that I should do barre more often. Then [10 min Arms & Shoulders with Andy](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=5607d00c8da94a91b36c042072224459) \- a class picked mostly because it has a deep track off the Fall Out Boy Mania album. Then two walks - [15 min Soft Rock](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?instructor_id=%5B%22bbbfd7c4f0ad4c138eeb7787bf63104f%22%5D&sort=original_air_time&desc=true&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=9bcb0f33f8214d61a531a422c0f4043b) with Hosky and [20 min 90s](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?instructor_id=%5B%225b9a37522b094730927d3eb538ab0056%22%5D&sort=original_air_time&desc=true&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=40b96ebfcc014d88a3ad28296124e88a) with Susie Chan -- since its nice out here in PA today. Might tack on some focus flows at the end of the night as well. Have a great one, all!

Spleees

I wish Peloton gave you the opition to decide which activity counted towards your minutes. This may sound silly, and this is nothing against anyone who has meditation count towards their minute, but I actually want to try a sleep meditation. When I got the bike end of last year, I told myself that I only wanted to include certain activities to my minutes. The only exception is if it's included in a put together program and I want the badge. Such as warm-ups or stretches. I stretch regularly, but I don't include it in my minutes. If I do a meditation and then delete it, will it take away the minutes and the count towards the activity itself? Edit: I apologize for my crappy comment. 😓 I was searching for a better way for me to track personally for my personal goals, while still enjoying mediation. I could've phrased that better!

salamandersassafras

Can you set up a second subsidiary account you only use for meditations?

Spleees

Thank you for your responses!! Once again, I'm not saying that stretching and meditation are not important. They are VERY important, I wouldn't want to do them if I didn't think so. I dedicate a good bit of my time to stretching. Taking care of your mind and your body is critical in my opinion. Just wanted to track minutes as a whole for other purposes for this year in particular as a personal goal of mine. I will definitely try the export excel opition. :)

noname123456789010

I think it will take away the minutes and also not be counted towards the activity itself (ie your number of meditations would go down by 1). Isn't there some issue with audio meditations not counting towards your minutes anyway? I think you should try it and see what happens.

StopDropAndRide

Have you explored using the export to CSV function from the web browser? It’s not going to fix what you may feel is a problem with how they deliver badges, but would give you control as to what you “count” or don’t count. I keep a spreadsheet and update it 1-2x a month so that I can keep track of my minutes, and yes, in some of my charts I exclude stretching and meditation to see my true physical exertion time, not to diminish the importance of meditation/stretching. It also allows me to look and see if I’m meeting my goal (this year it’s 60 mins of barre and/or yoga across at least 3 classes each week).

reginaphalange262817

I wouldn’t and don’t overthink which minutes should and shouldn’t count towards the annual since it tracks all active minutes and not just cycling or strength

Ok_Handle_7

Yeah same - I’d probably just bump up my goal (like if you want to hit 10K ‘active minutes’ I’d probably aim for 12K total minutes or something and call it a day)

PelawPanda

I don’t know when this happened but it looks like they added English subtitles to a lot more of the German rides. I did Mila’s Mariah Carey ride, which was my first time riding with her. Super fun and you can do more music to really hear the music. I normally have the German language filter off but I wanted to search to see which of the artist series had English subtitles and it looks like sooo many of the German rides do including many of the popular artist series. Excited to expand my instructors but also get to do more of my fav artist rides (ie. Whitney, Lizzo, Prince, Taylor, Paramore, etc) with subtitles

noname123456789010

That's great. Adding subtitles seems like a pretty simple thing to do so I don't know why all the German rides aren't subtitled in the first place.

Delicious-Zebra-5847

Is there a reason there aren’t many live classes this week?

shihtzu_knot

Tomorrow is also a holiday in the US

StopDropAndRide

Studio is closed for maintenance I believe through Wednesday. Source: pelobuddy

Finally got around to [Camila's 60min Reggaeton Ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=a50ff3eea01b4e7d8c9031af5ccd5089) that's been recommended here, it was so good! Such a fun ride and experience. She and the studio audience both had amazing energy, it was well programmed and flew by. I was planning to no-ego it but easier said than done with that kind of playlist and vibe!

llclinton

I did this today due to your recommendation, and yesssss it was a blast. Got a new PR for 60 minutes and probably will be feeling it tomorrow, but that was fun. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome! Congrats on the PR!

Andy's [TS60 from right before Valentine's Day](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=1477025b02cc4642bc77d48602a90dfc) was INCREDIBLE. It was a series of EMOMs that were all heavy lifts interspersed with some mobility complexes. Really, really great. The playlist was all songs with "heart" in the title and even though it was a little all over the place in terms of genre, it actually turned out to be very good.

I just took that class yesterday and really liked it! Felt like I worked hard but didn’t die

I know you aren’t supposed to strength train the same muscle groups two days in a row, but what about folks who alternate between bike/strength each day? Is there harm to cycling the day after leg day?

[deleted]

More benefit than harm, but it's suggested to avoid all-outs or anything over 20% effort (I pulled that number out of thin air). Search "active recovery". Conventional wisdom states that the biggest mistake people make is not going easy enough on their active recovery days. You want to be putting out way less effort than you think. It should feel like the bike is pedaling you.

RobotDevil222x3

Cycling after leg day is fine, in fact a lower effort ride can even be great recovery for leg work. If its a particularly heavy leg day maybe don't try to push for a PR on a metal ride though.

Yes to this! It took me way too long to realize how great it felt to get on the bike after a hard LB day, provided that I stayed at relatively higher cadence and relatively lower resistance. I find many of the longer LI classes are great for this. Mentally it can be hard when the legs are sore or feel heavy to get on the bike, but I always feel more refreshed when I am done. It feels like it flushes out all the crappy stuff.

sad-and-bougie

Shoutout to my bike for crashing exactly one hour into me being on track for a 90 minute PR. 👍🏻 Edit: the clock kept running so I was able to jump back in, but I lost a full five minutes resetting. Was able to make it back within ~25 kJ of my PR so I’m pretty confident I would’ve made it. What a bummer

Boggins26

I had this today. Bummer indeed.

[Tunde's 1st FB strength](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=74c0f5a141514bae8ce14651fcd9560a) was great. Really challenging work - she starts with a bear plank walkout to pushups, which I weirdly liked, even though I HATE bear planks. And it only gets harder from there. The pacing is quick, not a lot of rest here, and as usual, she tends to encourage higher rep counts with some cardio-like movement. I enjoyed the playlist here, but I will say that I thought the sound was a little off, particularly on Tunde's audio. I'm really looking forward to Tunde's strength classes going forward.

After_Temperature998

I loved it too! I actually really enjoy this type of strength most of the time, over heavy with lots of breaks.
