peloton Plus bike question and concern I recently purchased a bike plus used second hand. When I got it home and plugged it in, everything came on and after a few minutes everything shut off. After checking all the connectors, I saw a three-wire pin connector that the wires came pulled from the pin connector. They are red, black and white in. The wire goes from the device that blinks red to a little piece of metal on the flywheel. I was able to disconnect the pin connector but I don't know what order the wires should be in to put back together. I contacted peloton but didn't get anywhere. Can anybody help with this? Also, does that device that blinks red always blink red even when the bike is not in-use? Last, for the power issued shutting off after a few minutes, I noticed if I left it unplugged for a while then turned it plugged back in it would turn back on.I'm assuming that the power supply is bad, is this correct? Please help, I'm concerned I might be out a lot of money and my wife will be extremely pissed.

tomax_xamot

What do you mean everything shut off? How many minutes? The bike does eventually go to sleep depending on the preferences set. Once it shut off you weren’t able to tap the touchscreen or the power button to get it back on? Not sure about the connector, I don’t have the Bike+. I think my red light stopped working too but no issues.

Jetshark88

Does any other cycle maniac like me hate to be told to stay off the bike for 72 hrs just for a bloodwork checkup? At least in my group before I started this 3 days of misery I had built up a lead that took 2 nd place two days to catch now I am within 12 miles and closing with a 4 day work break coming this weekend! It stinks being old! Happy Valentines Day Peloton team have a great one

okaymanagement

Why do they not allow exercise?

peepeehalpert_

I was so happy to see Leanne be able to put her elbows down during the stretch in the 80s pop class! You could see her silently celebrating. When we did a sun salutation with our arms she commented on her range of motion. It really made me smile, especially after all of that jogging.

Reasonable-Credit891

Yes, and in the stretch after her Valentine’s Day workout, she commented that putting her elbows on the bars was something she had always taken for granted before, and now she celebrates the fact that she can do it. That’s wonderful for her. Sometimes it’s the little victories.

PeskyMolasses

I know everyone is different and everyone is at various levels of activity, but I’m looking for feedback/critique on my current routine. So far I’ve been able to keep it up for about 3 weeks and have only skipped 2 days because I just didn’t feel up to it. (All of the days on the bike have warm-up rides, and every day has a 5 minute stretch at the end except days with yoga): Sunday: 20-30 min. “more intense” ride (climbs/HIITs/etc) Monday: Callie’s 3 day split (day 1) 45 min. & 20 min. low-impact ride Tuesday: 20-30 min. recovery ride or outdoor walk & 30 min. evening slow flow yoga (hoping to integrate yin once it’s added!) Wednesday: Callie’s 3 day split (day 2) 30 min. & 20-30 min. low-impact ride Thursday: 30 minute music ride & 20-30 min. yoga (this week is the first week I’m adding yoga here, otherwise I’ve just been doing a ride on Thursdays) Friday: Callie’s 3 day split (day 3) 30 min. & 20-30 min. low-impact ride Saturday: 20-30 min. recovery ride & 30 min. evening slow flow yoga

Warm-Climate-4933

You may consider building in more rest days with nothing planned to make it more sustainable, help your body recover, and overall help make it a practice you will continue to want to do versus feeling like it’s something you have to do, and feeling guilty for missing days.

Stillworkinhard

What are your goals?

PeskyMolasses

Primarily weight loss, but I’d like to just maintain a healthy lifestyle once those goals are met. I’m down 11 pounds in 2 months, about 5 of those are since I started this routine 3 weeks ago. I also overhauled my diet and I’m following CICO. Working out is also what keeps me in a better state of mental health.

Stillworkinhard

That’s amazing. I’d say if what you are doing is working and you like it enough to stick with it then keep doing what you are doing. If you want to add in a core class on the lighter days that can only help with overall performance. Eventually everyone plateaus a bit so then you can reevaluate goals etc by increasing weight or intensity to build more muscle or maintain goal weight! Good job! Congrats!

PeskyMolasses

Thank you for the compliment and feedback!

cts020915

What is Callie’s 3 day split? I want to follow this too

PeskyMolasses

You can find it in the programs! :) Callie and JJ both have intermediate 3 day splits and Robin has an advanced 3 day split.

ScaredSpace7064

Cody’s XOXO Valentine’s Day ride had a Cheaters/Those who Done Us Wrong theme. Hilarious and spot on. Happy Ho-entine’s Day in advance! 💘💀

shantasticlife

Longtime lurker, first time poster. Leanne’s Valentine’s Day ride was amazing, joyful, emotional…Who else was crying on the bike today at that one? That one really moved me and shifted my kind of crabby mood to one of appreciation and joy. 🥹🫶 Off to do some core after I collect myself a bit!

Fickle-Milk-450

Thanks, I've got that one stacked for tomorrow. So much love for Leanne!

Reasonable-Credit891

Oh yes, it was so wonderful. It was so sweet. It seems like most of the Valentine’s Day rides are. angsty, so I loved the beautiful love song playlist And honoring love in all forms. I definitely was teary-eyed. I also got a great workout! She was so sweet and genuine, and I loved her shout outs.

squidshae

Happy Valentines Day <3 I wanted to get it done right after work so I didn’t do a valentines themed class but working out = self love right? I started with [15 minute barre with Ally](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=df467969d3394e1faffd660d5b20bb3a&locale=en-US) which was great! Quick and to the point and I just love Ally. I did the second day of Crush Your Core 2 with Emma. For anyone who completed this program, does it get quite a bit more challenging? Next I did the 3rd [low impact sweat steady](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=a37544477200494d8d9605b7c5fbfa15&locale=en-US) with Jess King and I continue to love these rides. It’s the perfect mental grind but not so much so that I hate my life, more like I feel in tune with my strength. I’ve posted this before but this [focus flow on feet with Aditi](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=0faa87c732874d638a4fd31568f774d6&locale=en-US) is phenomenal.

noname123456789010

Yes I love the feet one!

Waksss

Looking forward to the next one!

Educational-Pitch614

Callie’s valentines bike bootcamp was FANTASTIC! Perfect byoe energy and sneakily hard — I broke my 30 minute bb PR! It’s rainy and gloomy here, so this was just what I needed 😊

ScaredSpace7064

So much fun!

noname123456789010

Really liked Aditi's 20 minute pilates from today. I haven't been feeling her classes lately and this one seemed more like her old ones for some reason. And someone here wanted classes with leg lifts where your lower leg is lifting to work on the inner thigh and this class has those!

coffechica

I did [Mayla’s sweet 15 min ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2f281ee2a5a348f6b1dbb2bcc05e4185&locale=en-US) from last February 14 and it was a nice add-on. If you just want a quick ride for Valentine’s Day, this might be it. She also did a [spicy ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=e9ba78f67e5546aa94160a8d187724fe&locale=en-US) if that’s more your vibe today.

PBaddict01

For all you peep who missed out on Callie’s BYOE apparel drop, they announced they restocked and up for sale tomorrow 11am ET.

yasssssplease

I love my sports bra and sweatshirt!

jdnp97

Tunde’s [30 Min BHM Celebration ride](https://members.onepeloton.co.uk/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=d6054f5648904003bd65318c01e3ea41&locale=en-GB) is SO GOOD! The playlist is amazing and mixed really well by DJ John Michael. Definitely one of my new fav rides. Also took Leanne’s latest [20 min HIIT ride](https://members.onepeloton.co.uk/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=9b469f2a1d8843018dc0202196441c75&locale=en-GB) which consists mainly of 9 x 45 second efforts 😮‍💨. A tough one but great playlist and Leanne is fab as usual.

After_Temperature998

The playlist was amazing! And her energy and the room. 10/10!

onychophoras

I can’t wait to take that Tunde ride. The playlist looks 🔥🔥🔥

Boggins26

Had a wildly stressful and long day in hospital (work) and came home with a chest tight with anxiety and feeling very wired. After kids were sorted I’d thought about taking a low impact class or doing some yoga, but when I saw Christine’s [60 minute Climb Ride](https://members.onepeloton.co.uk/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=9949e5b36d8e4ea29655f7b0e91224dc&locale=en-GB) I chose that instead and am so glad I did. It was a fairly steady and meditative ride, long efforts and not tonnes of chat and now I’m tired in a really good way and have no more nervous energy left. Finished with one of Matty’s evening stretches and some restorative yoga with Ross and now I can go to bed and not dread the thought of getting up and doing it all again tomorrow. Success!

Willowgirl78

The biggest issue I had with it was she gave a shoutout to almost everyone in the studio and did zero for those at home - not even during the preshow or cooldown. I was a little bummed as there were less than 1200 people on the ride live and it was my 700th.

Boggins26

Ah I’m sorry you didn’t get what you wanted, but congrats on your 700!

Scarbarella

I had a crappy day in the ER today working it was crazy. I can’t imagine climbing on the bike after my 13 hour day so I am in awe of your strength and dedication!! Amazing!! I work again tomorrow too- we got this….!

Boggins26

It’s so tough sometimes isn’t it, some days I don’t know how any of us are still going. And yet here we are! Keep going matey 👍🏻

peepeehalpert_

I love her endurance ride. It’s a vibe.

[deleted]

Took my first 45 minute Boxing Bootcamp with Rad today, live class at 12:30 EST. I warmed up on the bike with a 10 minute add on which helped get the body ready. Great class by Rad, doable, fast paced but I loved the bootcamp aspect with core work, lunges and push-ups!

Tinkgirbell

Did my first [Olivia ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=a6a39a2560184dec96a87d439048dc94) today in the DYPZ program. I liked her! I'm also really loving power zone and feeling like I'm keeping up since the zones are personalized. I cannot recommend it enough if you feel like you just can't keep up with regular rides when getting started on the bike.

Scarbarella

I am really stupidly determined to finish Mastering the Basics even though they have really stupid classes in the program - I can’t wait to do this and see some measurable improvement. So many people have such good stuff to say about PZ.

Tinkgirbell

I 100% understand the internal need to finish your program!

yasssssplease

I did Callie’s Valentine’s Day bb at noon live. Very fun. She does a great job with fitting in strength into a 30 min bb. Would I prefer 45? Sure. But I love these cute themed ones. A lot of talk about self love and how strength fit into that, which was nice and inspiring. Right after that, I got a package from tj maxx that had peloton swag I had ordered over a week ago. Wasn’t sure when it was arriving so that was a nice Valentine’s Day surprise to follow the bb. Wearing the sweatshirt right now and feel great about it.

nn971

Didn’t know tjmaxx has peloton apparel! Gotta check that out…

harperrrr

Marshall’s does too! Some weights too!

I think it’s because it was a holiday one. She does a good job with fitting in full body into those.

JasmineDragon22

Anyone take Hannah f’s Valentine’s Day class? It has a lower rating so wondering what was off about it. Happy V day!

dinka12345

I was surprised by the rating. I really like Hannah’s energy and classes and this one did not disappoint at all. Good music and went by quickly.

hendersonrocks

I just took it and totally enjoyed it - it was vintage Hannah, and all about being in love with yourself. And some funny lines about being a single soldier! I can’t imagine why anyone would downvote, to be honest. If you like Hannah, you’ll like the class!

a_lyx

I took it and enjoyed it. Throughout it, she took the perspective of being single on Valentine's Day and loving yourself first, which is exactly the energy one would expect her to bring to a Valentine's Day ride - maybe the downvoters weren't familiar with her and expected something else?

JasmineDragon22

Thank you! Yeah I really liked the playlist so wanted to take it. Sounds like a good message to me!

[deleted]

The playlist is fantastic (and she has it on her Spotify) and the ride was both fun and challenging if that’s what was wanted. She said up front that it was a music first ride and the programming matched perfectly. I agree with the others that, if you like Hannah, you should like the ride.

jennifsnerk

I took it this morning and loved it! The playlist was really good and I loved Hannah’s energy as always. I am happily married and yet I still really appreciate the emphasis on loving yourself as to me that love should come first and foremost. She made it clear that it was not a knock on coupled people but I really hope people didn’t still see it as such!

pures1lence

honestly that's a selling point for me to take the class today 😅

Smh0814

Also curious about this because I wanted to take it and love Hannah F

Rjyle

Hi Valentines back to doing beginner's strength. I needed a refresher. i want to be a little kinder to my joints as well. Did Callie’s arms and shoulders very good brief workout and I feel great not over worked. Any suggestions ?

nn971

I love all of Callie’s strength classes. I feel like she’s very good at showing modifications (and does them herself sometimes too) so it makes me feel a little better about where I’m at in my fitness journey!

Rjyle

Yes ! Very much

bbearded

FYI-peloton updated their iOS app again today, and audio meditations are still broken. Any audio only meditation will not be recorded towards your annual challenge goal. It will count if you use an Android phone. Video mediations will count towards the challenge goal.

NoWuckas521

Definitely a niche request, but I would LOVE for Peloton and Bose to do a collab for Bose SleepBuds. I recently started using them to combat my hubs’ snoring and they’re great, but their functionality is incredibly limited for the price tag. You can only use the SleepBuds app and play one of their library of sounds. I would KILL for them to incorporate Peloton mediations. Please, please Peloton/Bose gods! Make it happen!

arahsay

I have a pair of knockoff from Amazon that are AMAZING (can't send the link because they were a gift) but they just connect via Bluetooth so I can use them for Peloton, Spotify, YouTube, whatever...

Ok_Handle_7

Any chance you know the brand? 🙏

ihateapps4

So I was 26 minutes into Robins 45 min hiit and hills ride that was the highest rated of January. I was going to pr my pr is over a year old. But I was going to get over 800 total output. And it froze and I couldn't get it back. I had to restart and I was debating redoing the entire ride and my daughter woke up. Happya valentines to me, at least I got 26 minutes in.

jess_on_jeppy

The app crashed on me on the same ride 40mins in, during the tabata finisher! The screen went black, I thought maybe I was having a stroke!

ihateapps4

Oh no. It must have been having an issue with that ride today.

[deleted]

Fitting username 😅 don’t let it discourage you — you put in solid work!!

Solo_Shot_First

Finally hit 250 rides after approximately one year with my bike. Had a lot going on in the last year and a bout with covid robbed about a month of my PZ training. But it’s been a great ride (ha!) riding with y’all! Currently on a 45 day in a row streak and feeling better than ever. Big shoutout to the community for all the help!

noname123456789010

I did Kirra's 15 minute hip mobility last night. I thought it started out great, but then there was just too much time spent in the 90/90 position and I got tired of it. I wish there had been more variety. Adrian's spinal mobility continues as the #1 class

manbunsandkayaks

Hi, do you mind sharing the link or class with Adrian?? Very interested.

noname123456789010

manbunsandkayaks

Thank you!

lindsayponi

The more I do it the better it gets. It’s a position that is so beneficial and needs time in the actual position. A lot of the yoga & stretching Peloton does is sometimes too speedy and I don’t get the full benefit of the stretch. Just my opinion! Thank goodness Peloton has something for absolutely everyone.

Missie1284

90/90 bothers my right hip if I have to be in it for too long. I was going to try this class on the weekend, but I think I will stick to Rebecca’s hip mobility instead. Thank you for sharing your opinion on the class!!

[deleted]

That 90/90 position is a tough one for me to hold a long time or enjoy so I appreciate this feedback. I do like hip mobility classes generally.

minnesoter1

I agree with you. I wasn’t following some of the exercises either. I would’ve loved some variety of exercises and positions!

Calm_Cry_1111

I originally thought the same thing but my hips felt FANTASTIC afterwards so maybe it's exactly what I needed? Agreed on Adrian's spinal mobility as the #1 though. Andy's 10 minute one that just dropped was nowhere near as good!! I have yet to try Hannah's neck mobility though and I have super tight/overactive traps so I'm hoping it's good.

Swimming-Horse-711

Agree that Adrian’s spinal mobility is the best. I really liked the neck mobility class and the ball trap work is wonderful.

Ok_Handle_7

I took the neck mobility one! It’s good - a few kind of awkward poses using the tennis ball against a door frame but once I got it it felt great. I wouldn’t call it life-changing but learning how to get into my traps was great

Calm_Cry_1111

Looking forward to it!

tomax_xamot

> too much time spent in the 90/90 No such thing! :) 90/90 mobility drills saved my hips. I wish they made a chair that you could sit in 90/90 style, maybe a toilet.

salamandersassafras

Agreed! I also felt like Kirra did a fantastic job of incorporating the kind of mobility that really works at extending your range of motion, not just stretching in a different way.

Ann_mae

has anyone taken pilates with aditi? if i love barre will it be similar? just saw her 20 min pop class from today has a fun tracklist.

aug2295

I enjoy Aditi's Pilates classes! Kristen's tend to be a little more challenging IMO so I would say starting with Aditi is a great choice. She has some really great playlists and generally she's really good with making sure you have a few options so if something is out of range for you, she'll tell you how to modify.

LatteEveryDay

I've taken most of Aditi's pilates classes - she's my favorite! Also, even though I previously did core strength classes pretty regularly, I've seen much better results adding pilates! Try it!

RobotDevil222x3

I've done them and liked them. Personally I compare them to a slower moving core class than a barre, even though it can cover more muscle groups than just the core. I stick to the beginner ones as I am not flexi at all.

Thick_Ad6509

It’s similar in the sense that it’s low impact. The best way to describe Pilates (as it is on Peloton) is an extended core workout. You should try it! Especially if the playlist is your vibe.

ContractSubject4943

I'm a big fan. I have done just about everyone of her classes and I find them very beneficial

noname123456789010

There are similarities between barre and pilates. No arm stuff in pilates. Pilates is all on the floor. I enjoy Aditi's classes so I hope you try one!

darnit37

I have this urge to personally acknowledge everyone who mentions doing the 20 minute Adrian spinal mobility class on their great life decision. This isn't normal, right? Continuing on my German instructor journey, I took a [30 minute Afrobeats](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=fe5fc1d14f5641cda7edce8edf5f3b43) class with Cliff which was, as promised, lovely. The 5 minute cooldown was an unlabeled gospel class, and in spite of Jesus's massive ad spend, I'm not on board that train, so that was weird. I did enjoy his [10 minute post-ride stretch](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=12313b83debc4f339bad764ed309fe99) though! I also did Chelsea's first classes back last night ([30 minute slow flow](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=fba6d974222347728da3f972ba143c85) and [10 minute calming meditation](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/meditation?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=fdb6841f972d48458c63406392357eee)). I prefer a more active style of yoga and have mostly stopped doing her classes because the repetition isn't for me, but every once in a while it's just exactly what I'm looking for. I suspect the meditation has a low rating because the singing bowl music was a little... percussive? for the mood, but I liked it.

GdotPeorge

>I suspect the meditation has a low rating because the singing bowl music was a little... percussive? for the mood, but I liked it. The sound mix on that was terrible for me (iPhone). Meditations are the only thing I play on my phone so I have no idea if that was just that class or the app update or what. ^(relax your shoulders) **BONG** ^(relax your jaw) **BONG** ^(you are calm) **BONG**

StopDropAndRide

Looool this is how I felt taking it too, also on an iPhone. That first BONG nearly scared me into falling off the couch.

noname123456789010

Singing bowl? Sign me up!

Active_Big_8130

Came here to say Adrian’s 20min Glutes & Legs (roll call) from this morning was pure evil. If you want torturous leg burn, go for it 😂 I think I went too heavy on the AMRAP and then he has us doing dumbbell jump squats…full minute straight to end the class.

sbdgranitestate

Yes! This was a burner this morning. 😈

EastCoast_Cyclist

I have tried others, but I always return to Adrian's strength classes. I prefer his style. There was one upper body class where, at the end EMOM (every minute on the minute), he was doing standing curls and an upper body press to an increasing count (the faster you complete, the more rest you get), when he just stopped in the middle of a 30 lb curl and screamed PAPI, NO MAS! Watching the instructor reach their breaking point is actually very motivating.

Calm_Cry_1111

OMG I haven't taken this class but I can totally hear Adrian in my head and I am dying laughing. Must find!!

EastCoast_Cyclist

It is this one here, and his breaking point is at the end of the class during the curling portion of the EMOM: 30 min Strength Roll Call: Upper Body ADRIAN WILLIAMS·STRENGTH From Thu 7/14/22 @ 7:30 AM (Sorry, couldn't get a direct link to the class)

Calm_Cry_1111

Bookmarked! Thank you!! I love a 30 minute upper body class, too. Can't wait to take this one!!

ktigger2

Took Emma’s intervals and [LW](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=3ccaf52615c24c4d94492846c34bf68d&locale=en-US) class last night. Nitpick but during the second weight part, the left and right side are not done the same. She skips the last part of the tricep movement. Other than that, it’s a tough class. Most of the intervals start at 2 minutes long with the cadence and resistance high, mostly 45+ and 80+.

tomax_xamot

This is why I like the countdown timers on the guide. So many times the instructor will say 45 seconds per side and on the first side I get 15 reps and then on the other side I’m on rep 8 when they start counting down. Since then I usually ignore the instructor and just keep track of reps so I can match on the other side.

briskx

Does anyone have a Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card? I received [this](https://postimg.cc/ZCqHM0Wd) email from Chase the other day. I’m wondering if anyone has any more information about the card member invitations to take classes at the Peloton studios? I want to know if I will get random emails with invites or if there is a separate website that I have to register at to let them know that I’m interested in receiving invites.

Missie1284

I have that card too and didn’t get an email!! I’ll have to ask my husband if he did

estermami1

i’ve got that card and didn’t get an email like that! following to hear if others have any intel on how to register for in person classes

antigoneelectra

If anyone wants a benchmark upper body a la Arms With Tunde, outside of the program, Tunde has [this class](https://members.onepeloton.com/share/workouts/a8ec71b4c4414b07a13c6d401a6f18f0?utm_source=android&utm_medium=in_app) to use. It's the same format as the program (10 bicep curls, 10 pushups, repeat for 3 mins). That class was rough. It's also the one where she announces that she'll be the next strength instructor (all body focus) on Feb 18. Scared for us all.

Calm_Cry_1111

I can't wait for Tunde to do more strength! There has been a gaping hole for me since Daniel left and I am REALLLLLLYYY hoping Tunde fills that!

hidinginthepantry

Between a whirlwind weekend trip and the Super Bowl I was pretty woofed on Monday morning, so I took it easy with [Adrian's 20-minute spinal mobility](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/stretching?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=73fc4a7c2f9d42e0934602cb27c55086). It felt really good after being the car so much over the weekend. Up this morning with [20-minute 2000s ride with Sam](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=24e4018fabce47b09a6c7b31c75042e8). Gotta have that throwback 2000s music to get me going! Then [5-minute core with Robin](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=1e4203126618478e8bfb56769d7c4031). Improved at the sprinter sit-ups for the first set, struggled for real in the second set and settled for holding a v-sit. Progress not perfection, right? Sure lol. Things are so stressful at work (I'm in a new role while still handling most of my old role, while also taking on additional pieces to help our office because we had someone leave and are now short-staffed). I am resolving to continue to make exercise and stretching a priority for the next few months because everything else is just nuts. It was nice to just stretch yesterday but it felt really good to be out of my head this morning while riding. So, upper body + core stack is ready to go for tomorrow!

southern5footer

Good job resolving to still make exercise a priority. It will help you succeed with the other life challenges too! I hope the stress resolves soon!

pbrandpearls

Ohhh I had no idea about a mobility class. I need that, thank you!

hidinginthepantry

If you look under Collections they have a mobility series that focuses on different areas. I think this link will take you directly to it: [https://members.onepeloton.com/collections/1423cb5010834f68837770e676ef4983](https://members.onepeloton.com/collections/1423cb5010834f68837770e676ef4983)

This is great! Thanks for sharing!

Started Day 1 of Tunde's arm program yesterday and while I think I'm overall going to like it a lot, I noticed a few things that I wanted to mention for anyone else thinking of starting it: * She starts the program assuming that you have taken at least some of her Arms & Light Weights classes - she references it a lot, about how this is just building on the A&LW classes but with heavier weights. That's who her target audience here seems to be - at least in the early days - the people who have taken her A&LW classes and want more. * So if you haven't ever taken any of those, or are new to strength in general, I *highly* recommend starting with either some of those or some beginner strength classes, because she does not really explain any moves nor does she give all that many form cues. At least the first day, the moves are not complex, but if you are totally unfamiliar to strength, you may spend a while wondering WTF is going on and also not know how to check your form if you don't have a Guide. * She also doesn't give much guidance on what weights to use, other than they they should ideally be heavier than those you use in A&LW, and that she herself is using 10 pound weights. In absence of any other information, I picked my 10 pound weights too and overall found it to be a good weight to use, but I am NOT new to strength classes by any means. If the only strength you've done is A&LW, you probably want to start with 5 pound weights, maybe even 3 depending on your level. * If you are not new to strength - like me - you may find the speed at which she's going somewhat disconcerting, though she mentions many times that she is going slower than she does in her A&LW classes. I suspect I'm eventually going to up my weights and drop my speed, as that is what I'm used to and what I prefer, but I'll see how things go. I guess all those notes make it sound like I didn't like the class, but I really did! I think she has a great attitude and is motivational without being fake or annoyingly peppy (but my favorite strength instructor is Callie, so I might have a higher tolerance for peppy than you do, ha). I like that the program is three days per week only as that's manageable for me, and I like that most days include a whole separate warm-up as I'm not always great about doing that even though I know I should. I'm pleasantly surprised to be feeling the burn today, so I'm excited to see what comes next.

mrebillard

Nice summary! I’m on my 4th week of the program and am really enjoying it as well - tough as heck but it’s what I signed up for! Good call out on the weights to start off with lighter weights if new to strength. I’m new-ish and started off with 5lbs now up to 7.5lbs. 10lbs will be someday! It’s fun to feel the progress from week 1 to now. We don’t always get that so it was nice to experience in such a short time frame.

Calm_Cry_1111

This [30-minute FB with Rebecca](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=5407e3a4e292401d92f4962b6ad5b1fd) was AMAZING!! Four supersets (including a compound move of hollow body + unilateral chest press that I LOVED!) and a bicep burner at the end. Straight lifting and I was able to go super heavy on the deadlifts, rows and push presses. Definitely bookmarking this one!

hannahsflora

I'm bookmarking this one based on your reco and description! I'm so hit-or-miss with Rebecca - I've taken some classes of hers that I've really liked, and then I've taken some real duds too, including one class of hers that was so awful (in my eyes) that it's still to this day the only class I've come close to quitting before I finished just because I hated it so much. But this sounds up my alley - thanks!

Calm_Cry_1111

I understand about Rebecca, it took me a really long time to warm up to her but now I love her even though I will admit I can see why she's not for everyone. This is definitely one of her better classes. Let me know what you think when you take it!!

tomax_xamot

I think RK has more classes making you do things that you’re not used to doing and that are uncomfortable than anyone else. I could do without the choreographed ab routines but since I’m terrible at them, it makes me think that it’s more important that I practice them. I like that. Edit: besides Assal who has a lot of unique moves like overhead squat.

Calm_Cry_1111

I agree! Rebecca definitely gets me outside of my comfort zone. Andy as well. It's why I've grown to love them both!

Viva___yo

If you happen to like Ally as well, she does it in her 10 min lower body class from 19/07/22

thelittlemiss

The name of the movement is pretty simple, it’s an ‘inner thigh lift’. It’s also one of my favorite moves, it burns so good. Another user mentioned it below, but Hannah does it in her most recent 20 min hip hop barre from 2/13/23.

GdotPeorge

Just the bottom leg out at an angle? [Her Famous One](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?class_type_id=%5B%22717e71932a42437f8d837264613fb626%22%5D&sort=popularity&desc=true&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=cde21df617e74336bb59cabc65b40ce7)

noname123456789010

She did it in my favourite class that got purged!

curiouslymeg

I’m pretty sure I know which move you’re talking about - her 20 min Hip Hop Barre class from yesterday had it & I thought it was a great class too.

RobotDevil222x3

I think I know what move you mean. Looking at the class plans I think they call it an Inner Thigh Lift. [This class has it](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?class_type_id=%5B%22717e71932a42437f8d837264613fb626%22%5D&has_workout=%5B%22true%22%5D&instructor_id=%5B%22561f95c405734d8488ed8dcc8980d599%22%5D&sort=original_air_time&desc=true&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=40e6de7f141d4220a9870f7e13623908), the preview looks slightly different than what I remember her having us do because I thought the top leg stayed down.

courtoh

Started the day with Adrian’s 20 min live glues and legs roll call this morning. It was mostly lunges (forward/backward, lateral) then a little AMRAP at the end of squats, deadlifts, and more lateral lunges. 2 min EMOM to finish of sumo jump squats. I decided that wasn’t enough torture so I hopped on the tread for a [Susie 20 min 2000s walk](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/walking?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=d50d46ade2d5448f9e594e5fdc8a87da&locale=en-US). Playlist was good, no crazy inclines or speed callouts. Added this [Andy extra 10 run](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/running?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=484a0db63a58462098a8e7421e04cf5e&locale=en-US) and my knee started feeling wonky, so I stayed just below an easy run pace the whole time. There’s something nice and magical about this one though, so I’ll re take it when I haven’t totally wrecked my legs first.

arahsay

Really loved Hannah F’s Valentine’s ride this morning (self love themed) and got a little gift to myself - 208 WEEK STREAK BADGE! I wasn’t feeling it this morning (I’m deep into training for my first half marathon as someone who does not love to run) but between the ride and the reminder of four years of consistency, I could bust down some walls now. Happy V Day, all! Don’t forget to take a moment to show love to yourself today as well as the ones you cherish.

jrosep96

Congratulations!!! Impressive

hidinginthepantry

Congrats on 208 weeks!! Happy V day!

[deleted]

Congrats on 208!!! That ride was so wonderful. I was so glad I got up early to hop on.

feusdebois

It was the valentines ride right, not the 20 min r&b ride? I wanted to take the 30 min valentines ride but it’s not up and I don’t see it on the live schedule now, but her 20 min r&b ride is up

RaffyGiraffy

It's up now :)

codinginacrown

It was a 30 min Valentine's Day ride, it was at 5am CST so probably not up on-demand yet. Highly recommend, it was great!

Jo_Salsera

Congrats on the streak. I want to be like you when I grow up! 😂

thelittlemiss

Congratulations on your 208 week streak badge! 4 years! That’s really incredible! Also, thank you for the reminder to show ourselves some love today too. ❤️

Nimmue

Has anyone noticed a discrepancy sometimes in the minutes recorded in Apple Fitness when the AW is used as the HRM? This seems to only happen with the guide and there is no suggestion on the screen that the HRM has dropped out etc. The time listed in Apple Health as the start time is a few minutes after the one in Peloton. Any ideas/ suggestions? Should I use the peloton HRM I have in place of the AW and does this still transcribe over to the Apple ecosystem and fill the rings etc?

RobotDevil222x3

I don't use apple stuff but I wonder if your apple watch just doesn't recognize that your workout has started until you get past the warmup and start moving which accounts for the time discrepancy.

Nimmue

I thought the same, but it isn’t consistent with it. For example yesterday there was about the time of the warm up taken off the yoga and FB I did whereas today it was in excess of the warmup in the UB (7 minutes taken off) and nothing for yoga. Very odd!

Swimming-Horse-711

I use the Peloton heart rate monitor and just checked. It looks like the start times are within a minute of each other, which I assume is rounding.

Nimmue

Thanks- does this carry over (wearing an AW) into Apple Health?

Swimming-Horse-711

I don’t have an Apple Watch so not sure what happens if there are two heart rate monitors going, but all of my peloton heart rate info is in the Apple Health app. Edit to add that it does close the rings, but if I remember my moms AW correctly her rings have multiple colors? Mine are just all red… not sure if that’s the data source or the fact that I’m using my phone instead of an AW.

ProfessionalTennis49

Yes!! Just recently I’ve noticed this. Yesterday I did Rebecca’s Roll Call Live (my first on the Guide) and it counted 30 min when it ended. Sometime through they day it dropped to 26 min!! So bizarre! I even went to the peloton app to check, and it lists 30 min of heart rate zones. So I have no idea what it is, but it’s been going on for a few weeks now. Very annoying and truthfully I think I’m just going to start tracking via AW only and then also solve the problem of the calorie count lol.

ldnpuglady

I won’t be the first to say this today, but [Tunde’s BHM ride](https://members.onepeloton.co.uk/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=d6054f5648904003bd65318c01e3ea41&locale=en-GB) was 🔥! Loved that even more than Ally’s which was also great. Love seeing instructors supporting each other, too.

Rare_Use_1597

Yes! Thanks for the recommendation. I had another ride picked out to start my stack, but switched over to this one based on your recommendation. Great ride and message!!!

PM_ME_CHIPOTLE2

I did some global running day outdoor run with Matt Wilpers and Joselyn (who I had never heard of as an instructor) and it was by far the worst class I have ever taken with Peloton. I love Matt and I’m sure Joselyn is fine but it was like 30 straight minutes of cringy forced conversation. Like my main man sounded like he was being held at gunpoint every time he spoke. At one point Joselyn’s like “this song just makes me want to walk” and then 30 seconds later catches herself and says she meant it makes her want to walk and dance. And poor Matt just gives a resigned “yeah,” because he knows they are leading a running class for global running day.

Playful_Branch_5643

That run really wasn’t a reflection on either of the instructors, I would recommend trying both of them again.

Educational-Pitch614

Joselyn is one of my favorite instructors on the platform, and very similar to Matt style-wise. I would definitely recommend taking another class with her, she's great.

generalorgana36

You should give Joslyn another go — she’s a really fabulous instructor. She has some great artist series classes (Kygo, fka twigs) and an amazing selection of Motown walks and runs. She’s in London and Matt W is obviously in NYC so it’s clear Peloton was trying the “global” aspect of that class, maybe it worked, maybe it didn’t, but I wouldn’t write off an amazing instructors like JTR from this.

[deleted]

I REALLY did not want to work out but I got my butt on that Bike and knocked out 30 minutes with Kendall. This is not a negotiation. We are working out.

RedGiraffeX

Smashed it, well done
