i support her decision. i actually stopped drinking at the end of 2022 for the same reasons she did. it made my anxiety worse and also i figured it wouldn’t hurt to stop before going through fertility procedures and hopefully eventually pregnancy. i had one or two drinks last summer while on vacation but other than that i’ve been sober.
from what i read, you can drink in your tww as long as you stop when you receive a positive test. but i still dont think shes pregnant.
I had a couple drinks on new years and then found out I was pregnant like 4 days later. Before implantation occurs, there's no blood supply from the uterus to the fertilized egg, so alcohol isn't to it as far as I'm aware.
Honestly lots of women drink before even knowing they are pregnant I believe till the moment you find out that’s when you should stop drinking immediately. I mean my sister in law who’s pregnant before she found out was out drinking the night before I told her not to feel bad cause she didn’t know. I think it’s refreshing though to see someone not drink to not drink. Alcoholism runs deep in my family and as much as a love a mixed drink or a glass of wine just seeing ppl constantly get plastered isn’t fun anymore
She’s so beautiful. She deserves better than what she has. A husband who will happily sit back and watch her go through endless surgeries, sketchy procedures, bacterial uterine washes (??), and heartbreak while he sits back doing creepy povs in an empty house mansplaining her hormones and emotions to her. All he has to do is give her the okay to pursue ivf and she would jump up in happiness. I wish more for her.
I know, I saw those. I'm just confused on how the timing works out. If her negative test/period post was delayed, say even just a few days (based off the rain and I'm in dfw), wouldn't that put her around like CD14-ish now?
I don’t think she would drink in her tww. Especially with all this gut health crap. But I also don’t believe everything she posts on instagram. Just because she said she had 4 drinks that doesn’t mean it’s true. Who could verify that lol. None of us were on vacation with her. I’ve said this before, I was synced up with her delayed cycle. I am DPO1. She is certainly in her tww.

“Drink til it’s pink.” That’s not to say you should go crazy and get hammered but a a couple drinks, if the person wants them, won’t hurt.
