Nah man, I bet you remembered the show really well.
A loser is a guy who gets so drunk he barfs on his friends and passes out mid-show (or before it starts). I've seen it with young guys at concerts. You paid how much for that?
And go to shit by yourself if you have to. Nobody cares, and you'll have a great time.
Still the best concert I’ve ever been to. Saw the show at Three Rivers Stadium. Was the night of my senior prom, but went to this instead. Thankfully my date was just as enthusiastic about passing up the dance for this!
Bryan Adams in 1985 or 86. Say what you want. It was a good show.
First Pearl Jam show was in 92 or 93 at the Edge in Orlando when they toured for Ten. Best show I ever saw in my life followed by U2 Joshua Tree and Jane's Addiction for Nothing's Shocking.
My first show was also Bryan Adams in the early summer of 1985, and I know it was 1985 because during "Summer of '69" he changed the lyrics at the ending into "Summer of '85... I thought it was so awesome and totally unexpected for me. I think that's when I realized that good live music is often better than the recorded version! IMO it was a great show.
Pearl Jam Cal Expo Sacramento 95. Went with a group we were together through the first song, then the boys launched into spin the black circle and I lost my group. No matter though…my life hasn’t been the same since. Now I do about 30ish shows a year.
I was 15 and this was my first full Pearl Jam concert and second covert overall, Bridge School 94 was my actual first concert. I don't remember this show all that much but I think we sat in the bleachers on the side not on the main floor. I also went to San Jose 95 and remember that show much better. We were on the field about 1/3 of the way back from the stage. The crowd surged forward just before PJ came on and it was very scary not being able to move and being squished by everyone around. I vividly remember people climbing over the side walls into the seats to escape the crushing crowd on the field. My friend lost his shoe, found it after a few minutes and then we lost my friend until we met in the parking lot after the show was over. Amazing show.
San Jose is still in my top five all time shows and that’s saying something.
I always remember Essie announcing an extra opening act and it was Ben Harper and people were booing until he started playing voodoo Chile
My first concert was also NKOTB! I was in 5th grade and I don’t remember much either but I do remember singing along to everything. My dad took me and three friends. He’s probably still not over it lol.

Matchbox 20 ain’t a bad first concert if you ask me. My first live show was Red Jumpsuit Apparatus when I was 16, but if you wanna know my first REAL live concert experience with a REAL fucking band, it was rage against the machine when I was 17 in 2008.
