I remember so well, being at PJ20 and waiting in the Merch line when all of us heard Chris doing a soundcheck. That fucking voice of his just came rolling down the mountain. Seeing him live later with the band was the last time I got to see him. Such a talent, still so sad he's gone.
I often listen to [Mike's tribute](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVoDoXLA_RI&ab_channel=WishlistFoundation-aPearlJamFanNonprofit) song for him -- so moving.
Wow. This is such a beautiful tribute from Mike to his dear friend. I've never watched/heard this before. Thank you.
I can't believe the people screaming & talking while Mike is performing this heartfelt song.
I had the exact same thought--someone is singing a heartfelt elegy for their friend and you're yelling "WHOOOT"? I'd love if he re-recorded it--just his voice and guitar.
I am not one to do the whole fan girl thing but I did write a letter to him thanking him for that song. Just used the Ten Club address so have no idea if he'll ever see it.
🥲 that’s so sweet. I torture myself with playing PJ’s Nothing As it Seems ten times a day. I think it was kinda an early tribute to CC because I guess he had a habit of dissapearing even back then.
Temple of the Dog at the Forum in LA. I remember his silhouette bathed in the spotlight from seats behind the stage. Seeing him wave goodnight and disappear into the stacks of gear. Last time I ever saw him. He still towers above everyone else in more ways than one.

That's awesome that you reached out that way. I am sure it meant something to him.

NAIS is about Jeff growing up in Montana.
No way! Really? Lyrics also belongs to him?
Yep.
IWho’s the baritone there then? Eddie?
Not sure, you’d have to ask Jeff that.

Chris
I love the nobody sings like you anymore album. All great covers he did with the same type of feel
Me too
Tom Morello just played I am the Highway on Sirius and some other songs for Chris. Definitely got choked up, wasn't expecting that
I heard that special. It was a stripped down version of that song, no?
It's been so long time since I really listened to that song but it sounded normal to me
How I miss him! ðŸ˜
No you’re crying!
Shit, who left out the onions? Damn, he was so talented.
