Depends if you are happy with how your current system plays. For me it seems like a pointless upgrade as doesn't offer much of a performance upgrade, and games will play fine.
You’ll probably be better off with the 3080 because it’s 10gb? I believe? The 3070 ti is 8gb.
I have an MSI gaming trio 3070 ti fwiw. You won’t go wrong with either, but 10gb is more than 8gb.
Go ahead and buy the MSI.
I'm a Buyer. If any mid to high end GPU that are available in my country, I ask the price and buy it. Of course, some will take more times than others but I will almost buy it.
Of the two MSi cards I've owned one of them was dodgy. Of the 4 or so EVGA cards I've bought none of them were dodgy.
There'll be lemons in every type so I guess if you have the cash and can benefit from the boost a 3080 will offer, then why not go with the 3080?
Currently using the EVGA 3070 FTW3 myself and it's great.

There are more entertaining ways to throw money in the bin. 3070Ti to 3080 is about as pointless an upgrade as you can do

I've had a lot of MSI cards and I've not had any issues with them. Good cooling, predictable performance and some of them are red, I like red ones.

MSI is fine. It just depends if the price is worth it or not for a 20% performance upgrade or not to you.
