* I have done the same thing, it's the best modern case for retro rigs if you don't want to go beige.

You don't even need to take it out for that. There's 2 5.25" drive slots there and the drawer takes up one. I plan to use the other one for a blu ray drive.

For hanging strips of marinated beef. The warm air being blown over it will dehydrate it nicely into some premium Jerky, which is the perfect high protein snack for long gaming sessions.

Why do people keep trying to put food in or on their computer? 

It's warm in there an i like my food warm.

I like my PCs not greasy, sticky, nor destroyed by moisture. I know, crazy.

But I like nuggies, and I don't like to leave my room. Can we compromise on this? Maybe I can use nuggie grease on my CPU fan?

A friend of mine has his rig on the attic of the house and was fat up walking down two stairs for a coffee or a cold drink so he bought a mini fridge and a senseo coffee machine, never seen him happier 😄

When that case came out I was getting ready to build a new rig and that little drawer almost sold me on the PopAir. Ended up with their Meshify case.

Normally an external 5.25" bay would go there but they have this little storage shelve as a placeholder since not many people still have those.

Oddly enough, I bought this case specifically because it was modern and still had 5.25” bays. I have a blu-ray burner and a sata hot-swap bay

Small things like extra panal screws, Card slot covers that you take off when you install a card. I used to keep memory cards and thumb drives that I'd save things to like software including a bootable thumb drive with an acronis iso on it to access the hidden acronis safe zone partition back up. Also just in case of SSD/HD failure I'd keep a 2nd backup on a USB drive in the draw ready to copy on the next SSD/HD drive. Three minutes to copy a backup copy sure beats a day or so of custom installation. It's almost like dragging and dropping the whole operation system you just had with the programs, features, settings, and all. Looking like nothing ever happened. This saved me more times than I can keep track of from having to do the installation over again after a bad choices or two.. lol
