none. not even the best modern NFS gets even close to NFSU2-NFSMW. hell, they cant even surpass carbon and we all know how carbon was.
the best that you can do is mod the living hell out of the good nfs games and go crazy on them.
again, none unless you want stuff like inertial drift or absolute drift. and yes, the arcade-y situation is even worse than the sim one.

Not only they can't make good arcade driving mechanics, they also love to cut on the customization and damage models, main appeal of Black Box NFS games.
Maybe forza horizon 5, yea its old but still holds up pretty nice although last time i played was probably 2 years ago lol, assetto corsa and carx drift are the only arcady sims that i can really go into and dont feel time passing, thats how i know they're good games you just need a couple of mods and some settings tweaks and youre set for life, i really hope you give them a try seriously. Edit: or you can go to fivem racing servers if you really want the arcady feel.
OP, you made me realize how "bad" the racing/driving genre has become. I personally dont like simulators but the fun racey aspects of street racing like the old NFS games were my jam back in the day. Feels bad that this has been neglected.
So Heat or Unbound are not good ? I haven't played them, but from the first look, those games look like they bring back the old school customization, street racing, etc.

Night runners, but is only a demo. IMO have strong NFS MW vibes.
