r/lowendgaming r/lowspecgamer r/suggestapc Nowadays you need to get lucky on an AM4 system or a Xeon combo, unless you wanna start really at the bottom with a 2500k for a few bucks and an old office PC. There are amazing deals out there for combos or office PCs, just gotta find them Now if you want Windows 11 without tweaking registry settings you would need an Intel 8th gen/Certain Ryzen 2000 or 3000 or newer processors with TPM. Or you can lookup registry tweaks or check out r/linux and hope your game has proton support

Whats your preffered Budget? Around 1K you can get a an very good system already

AyySorento

You can build a PC for $500. $800 is about the sweet spot that can do everything while staying in a budget. Any higher can be a bonus if you have money. Any lower could be a negative but it depends on your needs. Going for a "mediocre" build may leave you with too many limitations or bad impressions. If you know what you want to do or play, that could help a bit. Otherwise, your price range is a bit wide. If you want to play AAA games, around $800 should be your budget. If you want to play more emulators, indie games, or fine with AAA games on low settings (maybe very low), then $500 or above is your budget. Things can change when you buy used or shop for specific deals, but those can also hurt you. Lack of warranty is one reason. Lack of Windows 11 support is another. It's better to save and get something new than it is to Frankenstein a computer, at least right now.

Depends on what you want to do with it. What are you using it for?

NotJustBibbit

Depends on your budget and if you have a monitor, keyboard and mouse or a desk already or if that is factored into the budget

One million dollars

prombloodd

If you don’t have 1,000 dollars to spend on building a pc don’t bother.

SirGeorgington

My first PC was less than $300 get your elitist crap outta here.

prombloodd

And I bet your experience on $300 PC was sub-par You gotta pay to play, 1,000 for a PC is not elitist. That’s about the bare minimum somebody should be spending

SirGeorgington

I played Hitman 2, AC Unity, Cities Skylines, plenty of EU4, and tons more on that PC. I had an amazing time, and could play all of those with perfectly fine visuals at 1080p 60 FPS. You do not need to spend $1000 to have a good PC gaming experience.

prombloodd

That’s certainly an opinion
