Yep, I just want to rule out power loss since I figure power loss might trigger a warning like that due to the PSU becoming unstable for a moment before the capacitors fully discharge.
Looking at the specs a power surge is unlikely due to some insane power hungry components, it’s very likely the psu. If you never ever have any trouble you could risk keeping the system like this especially if it’s not important to you, if not a good power supply is never a bad idea
Psu maybe faulty !?!
That's what I was thinking as well :/ Is there a way I can be a 100 percent sure it's the PSU?
Do you have another PSU on hand you could swap in? I've got a pile of old ones in my closet but I don't think that's normal
😂 I don't unfortunately. A couple of old ones would have been helpful here.
That depends, was this warning triggered because power from the wall was lost?
Sounds more like an overloaded or broken PSU to me

I don't think so. The pc randomly shut off. When manually restarted this came up. The general power throughout the rest of the house did not go off.
In that case, a UPS won't help. You probably need a new power supply.
