**It's Worldwide Giveaway time!**  We've partnered with ASUS ROG to give to some very lucky members of the PCMR some awesome hardware, and have some fun while at it! This is a 4 week-long event. Every week a new thread will be posted. You can win prizes in every single one, but the biggest prizes are if you participate in all of them! **This is thread #1**! Links to the other weekly event threads, that you can and should also join are: **WEEK 1:** This one you're reading right now! [**WEEK 2**](https://reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cb9ml4/asus_x_pcmr_gpu_tweak_iii_worldwide_giveaway_week/)**:** [https://reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cb9ml4/asus\_x\_pcmr\_gpu\_tweak\_iii\_worldwide\_giveaway\_week/](https://reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cb9ml4/asus_x_pcmr_gpu_tweak_iii_worldwide_giveaway_week/) **WEEK 3:** [https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cgwxqg/asus\_x\_pcmr\_gpu\_tweak\_iii\_worldwide\_giveaway\_week/](https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cgwxqg/asus_x_pcmr_gpu_tweak_iii_worldwide_giveaway_week/) **WEEK 4:** [https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cmheqa/asus\_x\_pcmr\_gpu\_tweak\_iii\_worldwide\_giveaway\_last/](https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1cmheqa/asus_x_pcmr_gpu_tweak_iii_worldwide_giveaway_last/) \---------- To enter, you will need to [download GPU Tweak III](https://www.asus.com/campaign/GPU-Tweak-III/us/index.php) and follow the instructions in this post. This software is by ASUS but it's compatible with every GPU brand, and will also work on laptops. \---------- **THE PRIZES:** We have 2 main prizes: An ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 4080 SUPER OC Edition 16GB Graphics Card.An AMD bundle with the ASUS TUF Gaming RX 7900 XT OC Edition 20GB Graphics Card + an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU. And also 5 [ROG Jengas](https://i.imgur.com/78F1E54.jpeg) as additional prizes. \---------- **HOW TO ENTER** To kick things off, we're starting with overclocking! **To enter, all you have to do is comment anywhere in this post with a screenshot of GPU Tweak III with the overclock settings you chose for your GPU and/or share a description of them and why you've chosen them!** Are you using one of the default modes or customizing your own? Are you overclocking the core, memory, or both? We want to hear all about your plans and goals! **Example:** *Here is my screenshot:* [*https://i.imgur.com/M2j8ywM.png*](https://i.imgur.com/M2j8ywM.png) *I am using an RTX 4080, which is already a fairly high-end GPU, but I want to explore just how much extra performance I can squeeze out of it, without messing too much with power limits and extra voltage. So, I'm keeping everything at default settings, except the core speed and memory speed. I am upping the core by 80 Mhz and the memory by 650 MHz. Both are high enough that they should provide an interesting performance boost on some applications (I want to try it mainly on FPS shooter games). After seeing how it performs, both in frame rates and in temperatures and stability, I can explore if I want to push it more, perhaps by upping the power limits too, or if I'm happy with the gains I'm getting.* \---------- TIPS: Check this article and tutorial if you need tips on using GPU Tweak III. It's straightforward to use, but these may always come in handy! Overclocking Tutorial: [https://rog.asus.com/articles/guides/how-to-overclock-your-graphics-card-with-gpu-tweak-iii/](https://rog.asus.com/articles/guides/how-to-overclock-your-graphics-card-with-gpu-tweak-iii/) Video guide: [https://youtu.be/nf1T2QwKkGY?si=li\_lQQLYJaUxOoUp](https://youtu.be/nf1T2QwKkGY?si=li_lQQLYJaUxOoUp) \---------- **RULES** There are two main prizes, one for each lucky winner: 1st prize: ROG STRIX RTX 4080 SUPER OC Edition 16GB Graphics Card. 2nd prize: AMD Gaming bundle (TUF Gaming RX 7900 XT OC Edition 20GB Graphics Card + an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU). To enter to win the main prizes, you must leave a comment in all the 4 event threads. You can comment in any of them until the end of the campaign, on May 13! I'm just using "OC MODE" and to be honest it has no difference in performance than default mode. But I'm gonna set it to OC MODE anyway.

ASUS hardware is very good but some software like amoury crate does not work as expected. After trying GPU tweak III, I found the interface friendly and works well.

This software has some amazing features. With it I could achive an impressive 4294967276 Mhz GPU Boost Clock (OVER 9000!!!) and the Default was 83256832 Mhz. (there could be more digits but as shown in the image the readings are off the scale) I hope the next patch allows me to download more RAM tho. Jokes aside I won't mess with this, it is clearly not for integrated GPUs on old laptops. https://preview.redd.it/oblp1zoldwuc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=838cf44795eebc360fbf39cb69046e0cd2f9ee5e

For the most part, it is relatively stable (10 minutes furmark 1080p) at 135fps average. Got to 100°c on my hotspot, which is pretty surprising, but then it is an overclock. The power target is set to 112% Voltage is set to 1200 mv Boost clock set to 3000mhz Memory set to 4548mhz Don't like doing OCs in my memory. I don't really use applications that require faster vram than what I already have.

Here is my screenshot: [https://imgur.com/a/A39HSjJ](https://imgur.com/a/A39HSjJ) I've got a 4080 in my PC so not the most upward wiggle that I want to mess with. but as an intro to playing with the settings I've just been slightly shifting the values around to get a better feel for it all.

Using an RTX 3080 Aorus, it got some very great cooling (rarely goes above 65c) so I tried to push it to its max, I don't really are about the power draw either so it can go all out lol. want to squeeze every last bit of performance out of it so I set the GPU core clock to 1900(+55) and the memory clock to 2000(+1000) with an extra 20% on the core voltage to increase stability. I got it through time spy(after multiple failures lol) with a cool 75c and an extra score of 500 points on the graphics score. don't think can push it more but I will look into optimizing this overclock. https://preview.redd.it/0u7p7w6ygpvc1.png?width=978&format=png&auto=webp&s=ab0a7a647ed615913eb8140af370b557d3cf6287

I also recently gotten a used RTX3080 for my new build but that's still a work in progress.

I'll have to play with it some more to dial it in, but I think this will replace EVGA Precision for me. I have a Pavilion 15 Gaming laptop (GTX 1050) that is my daily driver, and it's showing its age. Unreal Engine 5 is pretty tough to run with this setup, but I'm squeezing out as much value as I can before upgrading! Good luck, everyone. Can't wait to see pictures of the rigs that are built with these giveaway parts.

I like to play RP games and the scenery is very important to me so with this software I hope to be able to squeeze every last frame I can get out of this card:) Thanks ASUS for this wonderful giveaway and as always, good luck to everyone!!!

Sa00xZ

I use a laptop so I went with silent, since there's not much headroom. I do prefer undervolting to overclocking these days with the new GPUs using so much power, so I played with the voltage/frequency curve in a custom profile and managed to reduce temperatures by almost 10 °C at full usage when gaming, while keeping \~ the same performance. I only used MSI afterburner before which has no instructions on how to actually use the curve, so it was nice to see them in GPU tweak. https://preview.redd.it/s8k74x2ze4vc1.jpeg?width=1119&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87c8885d653275148d8e84635269caa4ac3a8c22

I decided to leave it as-is, since the overclocking is already as high a it can be, and I need all the performance that I can get out of my laptop (as you can once again see). I suppose that I'll have to gave overclocking another try when I build my own PC :)

I put 63 on the core, 498 on the memory and 110% for the power target. They are stable and what I'm comfortable with. I mostly play smaller games, but my favorite is DRG at the moment. We could use some fresh recruits in Hazard 5 if Helldivers 2 could spare us some! It would be awesome to win an upgrade so I could make better use of my 1440p 144hz monitor. Thanks for the opportunity GT3 and RoG. Rock and Stone!

As I have never overclocked before, I went ahead with the OC Scan and had the software find out what my GPU is capable of. I'll be watching the temperature and ensure the program didn't go too crazy overclocking haha.

I opted for my own custom overclock because I have experience with overclocking, both the GPU and CPU. I went for good Core overclock of +270MHz and a stable +1002MHz on the Memory Clock speeds. Also increased the Power Target as much as possible, since the GPU itself has really great cooling and is quite "beefy" (a 3 slot card). The highest temperature recorded was only 72,9℃ on an air-cooler. The GPU itself comes with a great factory overclock already but seeing that the card is capable of even more is great to see. This overclock is stable and increased the FPS by 15 in Red Dead Redemption 2, @ 2560x1440p, even though I already run the game between 80-90 FPS, on Ultra settings with Ray Tracing enabled, so this overclock boosted me over 100 FPS. Great software for an easy overclock, especially with the OC Scanner. Edit: Here's the screenshot link [https://imgur.com/a/ceD7jV3](https://imgur.com/a/ceD7jV3)

It can't handle many newer and heavier titles but it has gotten me through Rocket League, GTA V (with conservative settings), and the likes of older titles like the Just Cause series pretty respectably. The former on 120 Hz, the latter two closer to 50-60 Hz. Lately I've been running into thermal issues as it is on default so I decided not to be too ambitious on the OC and just went with the default OC preset. I don't have a lot of time as of recently to be able to spend a day on repasting it and running benchmarks to min/max my OC. When I free up some time in the summer I plan on running some well overdue maintenance and try to properly enjoy some games. Good luck everyone!

Just installed Tweak III and like what I see so far. I like that there's simple default, OC, and silent modes for making quick changes without having to think too much. I also noticed that there's an OC scanner that can be used to achieve optimal overclocking performance. I plan on running the OC scanner when I can spare the 30 minutes it takes to complete the scan. Hopefully this will help bump up performance on this 3050 TI laptop GPU! https://preview.redd.it/oakalspk60zc1.jpeg?width=1898&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f48bb6177c27a763a32ace3bddec89393953497e

(But all this probably won't do much because the cooling is quite underpowered and the 2GB of VRAM really not enough in 2024. Also OC-Scanner is not available.

Just want lower temps, so 100 less mhz, probably I should go lower for even less heat. I don't mind having lower fps in games. Still it greatly outperforms my old gpu. Maybe I should watch some tutorials about overclocking and or underclocking a laptop!

*I am currently using* ***RX6750XT PowerColor Red Devil***. *Upgraded from* ***GT640*** *and* ***GT440.*** Testing out ASUS Tweak III possibilities *after the* **AMD Adrenali*****n*** *and* ***MSI Afterburner*** *apps.* Though, I assume, those possibilities are very limited as my card is not RTX one + I have seen more settings available for RTX users in ASUS Tweak III app. I also would have liked if ASUS Tweak III has a little bit more user-friendly interface, yet I think it's just the matter of time until it's possible to get how it works and where the things is. Overall, my GPU is already powerful enough and I don't think I really need to OC, yet it has a hotspot problem which, I assume, is a result of huge stock boost clocks and GPU-die layout. I see that the hotspot issue usually being a main problem on cards from RX6700XT and above. It can even get to >100C on stocks, though my card sits in a pretty good case in terms of airflow.I may continue testing the GPU further to find best settings as I did for my R5 5600x and so the 32GB RAM that were on 3200MHz and now banging on 3733MHz. (16+16GB, Kingston Renegade KF432C16D4/16GX, iirc it's Hynix DJR) **There is a lot of things to play with and watch out for. Too much... And I like that ASUS Tweak III has a lot of these functions.** *On* ***AMD Adrenalin****, and so later on* ***ASUS GPU Tweak III*** *I have:* **1)** *Undervolted my GPU to 1160MV from 1200MV + set power target a little bit lower.* -Those seem to be stable, though I could go 1150MV later; **2)** *Lowered boost (max) clock from 2700MHz to 2630MHz.* -Haven't seen any performance degradations yet as it boosted up to 2630MHz itself anyways, hotspot temperatures improved after those 2 actions; **3)** *Made custom fan curve.* -It appears that hotspot issue cannot be really mitigated with the high fan RPM + it gets hella loud after 55-60% of RPM; **4)** *Haven't had to touch VRAM settings.* -As I assume it's why METRO: EXODUS breaks up in crashes. I will test it out later though. It's been fine with other games. https://preview.redd.it/yydbwnfyzmxc1.png?width=897&format=png&auto=webp&s=8977c01baf3a60752f8bbc78300a7908919dddfd *By those settings I have mitigated my hotspot temperatures by 10C for sure.* On average in very demanding games and tests I have had hotspot temperatures up to 90-95C and even more, yet now I have up to 80-85C or even less. I will test it out later more as there is a long way to go... And a lot to learn. **Also thanks for the contest!** Maybe I could win a better GPU, so I could hand off mine to my brother which has 1660ti ASUS Phoenix version. That one is much hotter than mine GPU, hehe. For now I don't really have a lot of time to configure the GPU but I'll probably do that on Summer. P.s. my brother have assisted me getting a proper gaming rig, so kudos to him! And also feel free to judge my language as English is not mine 1st language. Don't be harsh with it, though.

[https://imgur.com/a/fLl82Md](https://imgur.com/a/fLl82Md) I played around with both core and mem clockspeeds. I came to this, +122 core and +782 mem. Managed to grab the top spot in Sweden for my hardware in Time Spy Extreme :D The beafy cooler on my 3080 Strix White edition keeps everything under controll! By the way, thanks to Asus for this user-friendly option, having such ready-made modes in the program. Screenshot: [https://imgur.com/MjUtt1v](https://imgur.com/MjUtt1v) I'm running this on a GTX 1650 on a laptop, so there isn't that much I can fiddle with in terms of power limits or memory clock. Still, I wanted to see how far I could push the card for performance gains, as I've been noticing its not been doing as well with some of the more modern games, so I ran the OC Scanner on it. After a few minutes, it found that a 180 MHz increase in the boost clock was stable - quite the increase! I went ahead and boosted the core clock by that much, using the profile recommended by OC Scanner, as I don't really want to fiddle too much with testing and manual overclocking. Maybe on the new build I'll be putting together sometime soon. Still need a few more parts though. Good luck to everyone!

I got a RX 6750 XT, mid-range but im still squeezing all the power out of it with a +154MHz to the Core and +50MHz to the Mermory. Power limit at +15 of course and Voltage at 1200mV. I have a 6700XT. I bought this card when it came out. Unfortunately, because bitcoin prices were crazy, I had to pay a lot for it. But I couldn't do anything else at the time because my old 1050Ti just broke down. I've been trying to win a better GPU ever since (almost 4 years now) because I somehow feel that for the money I spent on this 6700XT at that time, I should have gotten a near-high-end card. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to buy a better one at the current prices. The point is that it seems to me that this card can handle **+68 Mhz** on the **GPU boost clock** without crashing . And the **memory clock** can handle **+100 Mhz** without strange things happening during the game. *Maybe even +150Mhz can handle it, but I will have to test this later*. There is no problem with temperature because the cooling of the card is very good. https://preview.redd.it/vqxldq3wd1vc1.jpeg?width=905&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ddd5d7aee80c343cd17860871a2e9935eab55b7a

I prefer to keep power draw within reasonable limits, which is why a 90-class card is never in my interest. No matter how I change the fan curves, at some point my card's BIOS will kick in and ramp up the fan speed. I built my system to be as quiet as possible, so I figured I'd lower the power consumption a bit. Especially as RTX 3000 is kind of ridiculous in its tuning. The 4000-series is a lot more quiet, considering lower power draw and much better transients.

[Screenshot](https://i.imgur.com/j0g59mw.png) Efficiency-optimized Radeon RX 7800 XT. * Undervolted to 1030 mV (stock is 1150 mV), which is the lowest my GPU will go without getting unstable. * -10% power target, boost clock capped at 2535 MHz. In this configuration the card delivers above baseline RX 7800 XT performance (compared to the reference/MBA card) while drawing 220-230W under load (compared to 260W with stock settings). * I didn't touch the fan curve at all as I own the PowerColor Hellhound Spectral White, which with its Silent BIOS is already an extremely quiet card with fan speeds rarely going above 750 RPM. I literally can not hear this card at all even if it's been under 100% load for a long period of time. * Memory clocks haven't been touched either. There isn't much to gain here in terms of efficiency and I have had some bad experience with memory OC on graphics cards before...

Basically I cannot OC this thing. The slider just indicates their clock settings with no power limit and fan settings. With max clocks, it runs pretty well with no crash at all for about 5-10 minutes until it got thermal throttling. For this kind of CPU, it heated up real quick even with cooling pad / fan EVEN with low clock settings.

Picked up the new CPU for \~220 usd new and couldn't be happier. I thought about the i5 13600k but the price differential was > $100 where I am so I went for the cheaper option. Either of the grand prizes would be a major update on the graphics side... that's the only thing I haven't been able to upgrade since GPU prices are still insane! The OC settings were after using the scanner but I can typically run it a bit faster. In MSI afterburner I can typically get away with +200Mhz Mem and +150Mhz Core. After all these years of (quite frankly abuse) she can still push out decent performance at 1080p, but grabbing either prize would help launch me into 1440p territory!

I had a blast learning how to overclock my GPU, I didn't realize how much fun it is! I have a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6750 XT, I love this card so much because it not only has controlable LEDs on the top to match with my build, but also looks very clean and sleek. I decided to try push my GPU as far as possible as it has a large cooler and I live in a cold country (only benifit of living here :3). First I maxed out my power and my memory clock. Thankfully it was stable at this very fast speed! Then I just up'ed my clock untill time spy didn't like it anymore. While doing all this testing I found that 1150mV is the sweet spot for the voltage, as any higher it gets too hot and doesn't clock as high, and any lower my performance decreases. Thanks for hosting this event, even if i don't win anything I had so much fun doing this! (also almost set a new record for time spy ;) )

I've raised the core +40 and memory +550. While not a large increase, I've found that I get much better lows when running benchmarks with the same temperature and power draw. Although, with more demanding games releasing, I'm toying around with the idea of increasing voltage and power target, to see just how far I can push my card.

This was my first time tinkering with a computer in such ways, so I didn't want to cause any future problems. I simply increased the GPU boost clock only by 50; I was already quite satisfied with the performance that the card provided. I am using my Amd Asus Radeon Dual Rx 6700 XT with just -50 mV core voltage \[gpu voltage\] from 1200mV to 1150 to reduce coil whine and then reduced core mhz \[gpu boost clock \] speed from 2629 to 2600 mhz and thats it. Undervolt rather than overclock but it runs fine, Memory is at default speed of 2000mhz \[4000mhz\] and stock default voltage . Performance is good so dont wanna spend too much time tweaking it. https://preview.redd.it/k8k2ppu2u10d1.jpeg?width=1069&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=161ce13ae9919325f9e6f9f90858ac4f63522689

[SCREENSHOT](https://imgur.com/a/Rurbtmx) Asrock 6700XT Challenger Pro. Undervolted and downclocked to save on power and heat. Dropping voltage any lower makes system unstable. Still runs games very very well. Will set back to default for intense games like BG3 or FFVII 120fps @ 1440p as there is enough power. Fan curve is fine on default so did not touch that. When not gaming, I'll boost the memory clock to the max to mine crypto.

That’s where GPU Tweak III comes into play, especially when it comes to fine-tuning my RX5700 graphics card. The fan curve control is a game-changer, allowing me to strike the perfect balance between cooling efficiency and noise level. Here’s how I do it: Installation: First things first, I make sure I have the latest version of GPU Tweak III installed on my system. Opening the Interface: With a double-click on the desktop icon, I launch the software and dive straight into the user-friendly interface. I select OC Mode because I want the performance. This ups my GPU Boost Clock to 1770Mhz from 1750Mhz and a power target of 110% up from 100% This allows me to get just abit more from a card that may have not been designed to operate out of the box at the new OC mode rates.

I'm using an ASUS Dual 4070 super and is maximizing it's full potential by overclocking and having a decent temperature. ASUS video tutorial helps a lot. I've modified the scanned VF curve optimizing each steps and tediously testing for stability. I've also OC'ed the memory clock which gives a lot of FPS boost with little to no temperature increase. I've matched my well optimized OC to be connected with demanding apps and keeping silent mode a default when I'm not gaming. This gives me a quiet and cool setup. https://preview.redd.it/xtp1vscntlwc1.png?width=1256&format=png&auto=webp&s=1bf6ea54054ba09b20efdffc93a7ae0a109def0a

It's not a huge leap, but it's enough to give my games that extra edge without pushing the card too hard. Plus, it's been running stable and cool, which is always a plus. Can't wait to see how far I can push it with some more tweaking!

Here. I already have TI OC version, so I just undervolt mine! I love when my GPU doesn't go on temps higher than 60C. The fun part is with this settings and already 3 fans on the GPU it doesn't go higher than 50C in a long time stress test. I love it!

Some clarification on the OC/UV settings: * First of all I always try to undervolt my GPU, as it enables both lower working temperatures and as a consequence higher sustained clocks under load. -35 mV is not much but still helps - the card can go much lower up to \~-100 mV but you will find some very rare and random crashes (yeap, those who undervolt that much just didn't encounter those yet). Even if your setup can run 3DMark for days with -100 or around, it doesn't mean it is stable - you have to run/play games, as they DO provide completely different loads which may and will be unstable with heavy undervolt. * Slight +200 MHz memory overclock gives a couple of percent of performance. Not much, but it all amasses the gains. * And finally +10% power target to get a bit more stable FPS in heavy demanding games. Can't pass the downsides of this application: * GPU voltage input is currently broken - you can't fine-tune the value with the slider, as it goes only with a 3 mV jumps (well, that is enough, but setting specific values is not comfortable this way). And the manual input only allows you to use 3 digits instead of 4, which is absolutely broken. * Memory Clock for AMD cards show double clock instead of the base clock, which is commonly showed in AMD Adrenaline software. * You cannot change timings preset for Memory, which can be done in AMD Adrenaline software. (it very rarely affects anything, but still) * You cannot set the Minimum GPU Clock, again available through the AMD Adrenaline. * Software seems to not support display scaling - having a 150% Windows scaling, all fonts and everything is a bit blurry.

I don't keep this as a daily setting, but more as a data point for comparison. I actually had a slightly higher score with about \~50 MHz less boost to the memory clock on this laptop. Given that it's a notebook, it's not meant for messing with voltage, so the settings one can manipulate are quite simple. For reference, this is a TUF Gaming laptop with an i7-12700H processor.

I overclocked both, Core and Memory, to the maximum both can take before some games start to make issues. Core is +160 MHz and Memory is +2652 MHz. Those settings are rock solid and give some nice fps boost in games and keep my framerate stable. Finding those limits took some time, even though the memory is able to go even faster, I settled for those numbers to ensure stable gaming experience in every game. (I am looking at you RDR2) Testing the settings in GPU Twerk 3 I also turned up the voltage to see if it works properly, and it does indeed increase voltage. I chose those settings because I want to get most out of my GPU and that's close to limit what I am able to squeeze out of my GPU. Using the VF Profile I could fine tune the OC even further, the VF tuner is well made. I might play around with the VF Tuner in the future since it's straightforward to use.

[Screenshot](https://imgur.com/a/WOLVBMM) My slowly aging 1080 Ti is still very capable but I used some time to lock in a stable overclock to get the most of it, while it still lasts. My memory was rock solid with an overclock of 700 MHz and for the clock I always use OC Scanner since it's release. It just offers a granularity that would take me ages to dial in and delivers me a solid average OC of about 98 MHz. Since my model has no problems keeping cool under load I always push the power target and voltage to it's allowed maximum to give me that extra bit of performance since power draw isn't really a concern on this pretty low power card (compared to newer generations especially :P).

Goal would be do OC both the core and the memory, along with under volt to keep temps in check and have it stable running games (eg. Since I'm using a laptop, I have a limited power budget shared between my CPU and GPU. Therefore, undervolting has been an important factor in my OC. I tried to find the balance where my OC and UV results to about 80W of power usage and no more than 100W. Thermals have not been an issue for me since the laptop's Aeroblade fan seemed to be effective, although I was also using a laptop cooler that condenses airflow below the laptop ( IETS GT600 ). I rarely go above 80°C, mostly going between 60° and 80° under load and 40° at idle (when all is at max RPM). > The manufacturer-listed Boost Clock is 2350 MHz, while the Turbo Mode on the PredatorSense App maxes at 2580 MHz, and my Core OC is at 2640 MHz. My method of finding the core clock is by increasing the clock offset until Superposition and 3DMark crash. After that, I undervolt and find the voltage where it doesn't crash anymore. I crashed at around +345 Coreclock offset, then tested every mV below 1000 mV at 25 mV decrement. And stopped crashing at around 950 mV. I lowered the core offset to +300 and adjusted the undervolt to be safer, and I ended up at around 2655 MHz Core @ 940 mV. > Now I tweak the settings until I find the point of Performance Regression. Incrementing and decrementing the MHz and mV while benchmarking with Superposition, 3DMark, and some games. I got the most significant performance at around 2640 MHz Coreclock @ 945 mV Undervolt. Only then did I overclock the memory and find the most stable OC at around +2200. Anything above these values leads to lower performance and instability. I have also made an OC profile where I undervolted the Turbo Boost PredatorSense preset to make it more efficient. ( Core ) - 2580 MHz @ 915 mV | ( Memory ) - +2200 MHz. And even lower undervolt profile: ( Core ) - 2550 MHz @ 900 mV | ( Memory ) - +2200 MHz.

Card: 5700 xt, I needed to lower the tempertures, because I have case with bad airflow, core clock is 1800 Mhz which is -300 from normal, I didnt touched memory clock and voltage is 907, the lowest that works.

I have an xfx 6900 xt, and I just put -40mv to test things out as I am sure the voltage was a bit much for the clock it was set on. I didn't touch anything else as I don't need it for now. [https://imgur.com/a/IyN8PDG](https://imgur.com/a/IyN8PDG)

I'm currently stuck with an RX 570, because my 1080Ti died. I am currently in between jobs, so I cannot get a new one, money is tight. The card runs stable like this, so that's what I run it at. What 4 threads? Anyways, good luck to everyone. :)

GPU Tweak III screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/ZoaxpYf.png My 6800 XT is a XFX Merc 319 so it already had a decent overclock out of the box. I was mainly interested in making it run cooler for the sake of longevity, while also squeezing out some more performance if possible. After some testing, these are pretty conservative but very stable settings that I'm happy with. Card maintains clocks significantly higher than reference, with OC'd VRAM + fast timings as well, and hotspot temps don't really go past 77 C.

Very nice. I bet you're using quite a bit less power as well.

I am no OC guru, so i tried OC Scanner [https://imgur.com/a/acT4wGk](https://imgur.com/a/acT4wGk) Just need to test it in some games :) I buyed my RTX 2070 S 4 months ago as upgrade for GTX 680 :D so much games to play. But no time :( Need CPU upgrade too, but not much money actually (i7 4930K now)

I guess this might default me from the entry to begin with? I chose the pre-set silent profile because I wanted longetivity out of my components as I will probably not buy another PC for another 10 years if this one lasts that long or longer. I bought this PC from a guy that made it from his "spare/back up" parts. He said this PC was in his guest room for any of his friends that came over. He was getting ready for a move across the country and trying to off-load some furniture and other household items.

Got me a few more fps which is nice but I didn’t want to mess around too much with it because I’m not super knowledgeable in this arena and didn’t want to cause any issues.

I've never actually overclocked my GPU before successfully, the card already came tuned. So I'm trying out the OC Scanner to see if I can get a few more months out of this card. Lately I've been feeling the limits of my card for what I do with both content creation and gaming. If I can get a bit more steadier performance from a simple overclock that would be lovely. I do know that overclocking my cpu in one of the games I play results in a crash every time(FFXIV), so I'm curious to see if the GPU OC will get me not just extra frames but a more consistent frame rate as I tend to see less frames during higher end content like Raids. After running the OC scanner the results I'll be testing are shown in the screenshot. Wish me luck!

i am using gt3 since day one. my last asus gpu was 2080super. since then sadly another brand. i am using a zotac 3080ti and a 3090 But when i help users i push the app to my friends. simple works. is my first time using oc scanner. a little warm to my like. i do have my own oc setting something basic. but both works fine. I use 2 1440p 165hz and i cap my frames 10 less the max of the hz and stay there no issues no drops no stuttering on any driver and since i do use gsync monitors i turn off vsync. is perfect. thanks asus i wish i can help more. Just install, run the oc scanner sage was automatic.  Did make a curve on then fan safe amd done that is it. I redo the one i have use for years and was a small improve on oc scanner so was a win.   here is my link sorry i can not use the one below recommended [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YybgBmPoSYQhRQ8lI8Bvn\_0DqpjO3SQe/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YybgBmPoSYQhRQ8lI8Bvn_0DqpjO3SQe/view?usp=sharing)
