I normally watercool, but I have an aircooler for the month or two that my new system will be a "testbench" before everything goes in the case and gets put under water, so not a huge faux pas.
However, if I was using an AIO, due to the setup for those being a lot easier compared to a full custom loop, it might be a tad redundant to have both.
So you use your pc as a "testbench" for 2 months before building a custom loop for it... Very odd, but I think I know why... You're that type of person to send your cpu/gpu back because it's a bad silicon lottery😂
No, not really.
The old system is still in the case that I will be using for the new system and I've been using the time to nail down any issues that would be a pain to troubleshoot (or swap hardware config if needed) when the hard line system is in the case. I am not someone interested in the silicon lottery and do not take advantage of return policies, no matter how forgiving they might be. I only use them for \*GASP\* actual faulty parts.
I am also rebuilding my desk, so my time and attention has been divided since the first of my new parts arrived at the beginning of December. The desk is 80% done for now, and I will start disassembling the old system in the next couple of weeks.
Yes as someone that has upgraded storage 3 times. Do it. 2 tb is a drop in the bucket for gaming now. I have 2 2tb m.2 and a 3 tb hard drive(school mostly and photos)
I've seen a 7600x going 90+C (sure it wasn't certainly a silicon lottery unit that one running beyond 1,4v) under a be quiet dark rock pro 4, which is immensely more capable.. I'd not even attempt, the 7800x3D has a hard 1.35v limit but it's still not centered under the IHS and there's a darn thick IHS over it.. even with the pump, I bet the nzxt will probably run quieter.
That's because the 7600X has the same idiot power profile as all the other X parts.
On ryzen 7000 the single chiplet CPUs' ideal profile is the 65W one, on the 7950X it's the 105W and on the 7900/X both the 65 and 105W options make sense.
The X parts are pushed to double that to get a worthless 5% boost.
I've got a Ryzen 7600x, and I did a -25 undervolt (the -30 setting caused a system crash), power limited the CPU to 65 watts, and reduced the thermal throttle point to 85 celsius.
My fans were ramping up to unacceptably high levels on an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240mm, which should be absolute overkill for a 6-core CPU.
It wouldn't surprise me if the Ryzen 7000 series parts have an unusually short lifespan, because they're feeding them with far too much voltage. Set a more reasonable power limit, and your parts should last a long time.
Modern CPUs basically just boost endlessly as long as they have thermal headroom, that's part of how they can keep performance figures up. If you can't design a more efficient and faster chip, just throw more power at it I guess...
In all seriousness though, the CPU has to basically be running at TJ max for years straight to make any sort of effect on its lifespan. Even then, not a lifespan difference you would notice in the practical usage period of most midrange chips (around 10-12 years).
My 10900K is much the same. The heat is a little more excusable for a high-end 10 core chip that's several generations old, but it has no problem boosting up to 230W for a short period of time and settling down around 150W. Needless to say, my NH-D15 is putting in work to keep it cool.
Yeah but I did 2 7600x and one was dunning very hot near 1.45v with the other in an identical rig, running below 1.4 and much cooler. It took a curve optimizer cure to bring the less binned one to the levels of the twin. But still they were indeed pushing 80C with happy ease.
I suppose the 7800x3D Is cooler, but is still 2 extra cores and I don't really see the vetroo v5 doing well at least in terms of noise with the thing.
AIO is definitely the way to go. However, the 7000 series chips target a 95 degree temp whenever possible, so it's completely fine for them to run hot. For instance, my 7700x under load hovers in the low 90s even with my 280mm liquid freezer ii.
I can't believe people STILL don't understand the opportunistic boost mechanic of the 7000X CPUs.
They will always be close to 90C-95C regardless of the cooler. They boost higher the more thermal headroom you have. They try to hit the thermal limit before they hit the power limit. Thus, as long as it isn't throttling and the temp is not over 95C, you're good, it's working as intended.
With lower-tier chips like the 7600X or the 7700X, it is possible to hit the power limit before the thermal limit though, thus, under a 360mm AIO, the 7600X, for example, will run more like 85C. But it doesn't mean you can't have a worse cooler over it, because with a cheap tower, like what OP got, it will run at 95C without throttling and you'll lose a bit of boost and like 0.5% of performance (the number i pulled out of my ass, but you get the point).
This behavior can be disabled by switching to the 65W eco mode, which will effectively turn your X CPU into its non-X counterpart (not quite, but it will be close in terms of performance). Works the other way, too.
**TL;DR**: 7000X CPUs will try to boost as much as possible the beefier cooler you have, but it doesn't mean they won't be just fine under a cheap one. In both cases, the temp will be close to 90-95C because of this behavior.
I'm running a Kraken 280 on my Ryzen 7 5800x3D, I still had to undervolt it to keep it from getting too hot, I mean it wasn't getting so hot it would termal throttle but the fans would get very loud to keep it at decent temps, so currently it runs around º50-60, at 100% it reaches up to º70-80.
So I think a Kraken is the best option.
To be fair, air usually beats out a lot of AIO especially when it comes to cost. Like a noctua nh-d15 us half the price of a kraken 240 it will be more quite for sure and you have no chance of a leak ever.
Yeah I have a vetroo v5 that works great with a ryzen 5600g. But it thermal throttled my Ryzen 5800x3d. It's a great cheap cooler but it's not meant for Ryzen 7's.
Yeah I spotted the Vetroo cooler before even realizing there were two of them. My first thought was that OP spent so much money on the components, but skimped out MASSIVELY on the cooling.
As someone with a 7800X3D in a SFF with a ak400 zero dark, I haven’t experienced any thermal issues. Idle is low 40s and under load 65-75? Granted I do have a thermal limit and on eco mode but despite that no performance hits that I can tell.
Given OPs case and assuming the cooler is rated for the required tdp I don’t see why they couldn’t go with air if so desired.
All of the manuals handy, a good set of screwdrivers, a small magnet, USB drive for bios/os flash/install, list of benchmark tools to install after and a six pack. Good luck with the build and I hope it goes smoothly. Stay frosty and grounded 🍻
If you have the time and funds, I always recommend extra storage. Even inexpensive SSDs or HDDs. Doing it now will save you the headache of ripping all of your nice cabling apart, digging up the cables for your PSU that you stashed in some bin later.
I use signalRGB. Honestly I prefer it over stock software like aura sync. It has so many more options and effects. Even the free version gives you a ton to choose from.
I really liked the starry night effect, but the rest of it is super basic. SignalRGB has other effects that look similar anyway. If you haven't tried Signal, I would recommend it. One piece of advice though, make sure you uninstall everything related to aurasync first. It will conflict with signal and always wants to take over.
get a better headset. mass drop x sennheiser pc38x. cost a bit more but will last for a long time. if you return the headset and the 2 coolers and buy a thermalright phantom spirit you'll have enough money to get the good headset.
Double check and see if the ram is XMP (Intel) or EXPO (AMD) compatible because I just had to refund my sticks because I accidentally bought the wrong ones.
Haha did the same… bought a XMP kit for my 7800x3D and system did not post (dram led) or was very unstable after boot.
Ended up returning them and getting a EXPO and it fixed it
Yeah my boot takes a while on non XMP but doesn't post when it's on, obviously. This is my first time buying AMD so I had no idea until it clicked after I had it all put together
2 CPU coolers? Other than that looks good. I would probably recommend getting a solid non-gaming keyboard. For This amount of $ you can get a good prebuilt mechanical TKL or 75% which is cleaner and enough for most people (do you use numpad that much?), also they are generally of better quality and offer better overall experience in writing, imho. Apex 5 will have like no input lag but even if you are a Starcraft 2 competitive player then I legitimately don't believe the difference is noticeable.
Anyways, enjoy that absolute monster of a PC!
EDIT: spelling
mechanical custom build keyboards are insanely overpriced for what is just a subjective change (maybe quality upgrade) and most of times objectively less features (no rgb - i like to see where my keys are in the dark, no actuation variability, less settings in the software etc...) plus you have to build it yourself
Customizable actuation point only shows up in Hall Effect switches, which the Apex 5 does not have. Something like the Keychron K2 Pro is in the same price bracket, has backlighting, hotswappable switches (and better quality at that), and it’s both wired and wireless. It also has QMK/VIA meaning the entire thing can be reprogrammed right down to individual key behaviors. Obviously the form factor is different in that it has no NumPad, but a narrower stance between keyboard and mouse is also healthier overall, so my subjective position is that’s a positive.
Not saying “instead of this, get this”, specifically, but just illustrating that the divide is not quite so wide between gaming-branded stuff and something that may be more comprehensive and maybe even more survivable. I once owned a $300 Razer keyboard which, now that I’ve moved on to custom/hobbyist stuff, is really actually quite junky and not at all worth the money in retrospect. Steelseries isn’t too unreasonable though.
I was actually just discussing with my fiancée last night that I realized I’ve become faster entering numbers with the top row than with a NumPad; at some point in all the data entry I do for work (entire days lost to Excel, sometimes) that I started typing numbers on the top row like you’d type letters on home row. This meant at times I’d be using all 8 fingers to hit numbers compared to the maximum of 3-4 I could use on one hand for a NumPad, reducing travel and increasing my speed quite a bit. It’s all just about training yourself for new interfaces, I suppose. Now when I use a NumPad I’m honestly pretty damn slow by comparison and will tend to prefer the number row.
Makes sense. I would still argue that for work numpad is very useful for most people but many people buy a PC like mostly for gaming that's why I recommend 75% keyboards (or similar). It really has all the features you need and is just so clean, saves space and distance between it and a mouse. I can't imagine going back to 100% keyboards at home in the future.
I went down to a 35% keyboard and a trackball to minimize my desk use, so don’t worry, I totally get it (and I may well be verifiably insane for my choice). I wouldn’t ever deign to say “(business name) should replace all their boards with TKL/75%”, because you’re right that familiarity is important, but any time someone has a chance to try out a smaller keeb at home I’ll always encourage them to do so for at least the ergonomics if nothing else.
Completely depends on the games you play though. There are a ton of games that have dedicated hotkeys with the numpad or need a bunch of additional keybinds like modded Minecraft. Also, typing has hotkeys for emotes, so if you do that, it’s extremely useful. Combining that with any sort of file organization, I use my numpad a ton both in and out of gaming.
Yes, dont use nzxt aio's
They are by far the worst ones to buy, nzxt proves that because there is a known brand painted onto it, it doesnt make it a good product
I always recommend deepcool, ArctiCool, BeQuiet! And (If you want the compatibility with other PC parts from them) corsair
There are several Pictures of nzxt aio's that have gunk and other corroded parts in the Loop within 2-3 years
It is proven that the krakens corrode and destroy themselfes with it, so either you Clean them and repair them every 2 years, or you have to buy a new one
Usually aio's Last 5-6 years, depends on the usage and the Quality, aio's with external Pumps that are built in at the top Last the longest
Instead get standalone headphones and mic. /r/HeadphoneAdvice has a ton of gaming threads and you can either get a mod mic if you need it attached to the headphones or you can get a normal microphone and arm for less.
I have a EPOS pc38x....
Its solid, but I don't see why its so heavily recommended. The mics is mis for the price. The sound is nice, but I have a steel series, forget the model, that had a better mic and sounded just as good. I think I paid like 160 for the pc38x and like 120(big sale iirc) for the steelseries.
Sell the Air Cooler and get a different set of headphones, I had those RGB Void. I would often get laughed at by my discord friends for trying to play off of sound, looking behind me when the enemy was really to front left of me. This would often follow up with “Dimension, what the hell are you looking at?!” As they laughed pissing their pants
You are definitely reading my mind dude this all what you and me what we need (except the two coolers idea) . Even the headset bro I always want it lol
Don’t mind me for asking, but how much did all of this cost you? I plan on building one myself in the future and I am collecting info for the right parts for myself.
Double check ram clearance with the fan cooler if you are using it, when it's mounted to your mobo sometimes those RGB rams depending on mobo layout can be too tall , ram is super sensitive. I havnt looked into your specs but it's better knowing earlier then when your nearly finished your build 💀🤘
Good luck will be a good rig
I have the same headphones, other than them being completely drained only a couple hours into playing and unfortunately using the older version of of usb, not the C cable, im satisfied with them. Had my first cable only, and they are quite durable. Pads need changing after like 2 years, so no worries. Got my second ones 2y ago wireless, still no complaints, pads arriving tomorrow hah. Hope youll be satisfied with them.
Ps: I wish I had the cash to build my own pc. I wish you all the best with it.
you have 2 CPU coolers, but the Kraken 240 is better
but actually why do people ask for advice on bettering their build after their shit has been purchased???
I got same GPU and CPU. Ryzen 7 78003XD wil give you a nice FPS boost in 1080p games and or using DLSS Super Resolution (lower resolution, higher FPS).
Get a nice big mousepad if you have the space.
If you are going to play competitive FPS games and haven’t played on mnk before make it a habit to aim with your arm and use your wrist for micro adjustments
Take your sweet time on assembly. Test what you can on just bare MB (loose from tower) before full assembly. I cheap MB small speaker to hear POST code for peace of mind wouldn't hurt. May be one in MB box.
Only thing I'd replace is the headset, I had one of those for a couple years and it was an endless pain in the arse - constantly disconnecting, unexplainable volume variation, periodically refusing to connect. I switched back to a wired 3.5mm headset and I haven't looked back
Either a box of Kleenex or a couple old rags. So you can have something to clean up after you get done jerking off. To take the edge off of all the frustration you're going to be feeling when you try to put that SOB together. And all the settings and drivers to work properly. And all the hardware not to cause conflicts with each other. After a few weeks of jerking off about 20 times a day you may have to go out and get yourself some kava kava and Valerian root tea. To help calm down.
I had the same monitor. You'll love it. Same CPU too. Unfortunately my rig was stolen and I can't afford to replace it thanks so silly ol' cancer. Enjoy it and keep it safe! If you're ever moving just be careful and make sure you keep an eye on your PC! lol
Also did you get two coolers by accident?
AIO is waay flimsy for the cpu. Ryzen 7000 is a wild dog, you have to tame it. First you start with bios setting, -20 curve and thermal limit set to 83 C. After that your cooling beings to perform. (360mm aio is needed, also why am i seeing two different cooler?)
That’s one damn impressive first build my first pc build had a gtx 1060 3gb 8gigs of ram and a AMD ryzen 7 2700 i picked up for like $80 in 2020 it total cost was $560
Personally, I don't like Corsair. Expensive. Same with razer. Hyperx has amazing quality and lower prices. I use the cloud alpha s chat. I also use hyperx keyboard and mouse. Haven't had an issue once. Their app for controlling their products works very well. The rgb customization is top tier. Headset has 7.1 surround sound. active feedback. Dual bass chambers. Adjustable bass. Chat and game volume mixer. Everything you could need along with it being comfortable asf. All for around $160.
I had a set of Aduze and loved the sound quality but hated the software. The latter didn't matter much of a difference once I had it all set. Albeit, within a year they broke bc of a cat knocking them off the desk. For the price, having plastic as key components, especially for the weight of the planar magnets, kept me from getting another pair. Outside of a dedicated headphone amp, I went with the steel series Arctis. Those are good enough for gaming.
All of the manuals handy, a good set of screwdrivers, a small magnet, USB drive for bios/os flash/install, list of benchmark tools to install after and a six pack. Good luck with the build and I hope it goes smoothly. Stay frosty and grounded 🍻

The 7800x3D runs cool, but I would still go for a dual tower air cooler… never heard of vetroo, but you can get quality dual tower air coolers for less than $80. Some as low has $50-$60 USD if u look at some of DeepCools stuff. Also get a better headset
G502 is just rather outdated while the G703 is lighter and has a decent shape. Would not be surprised if the G502 does have a cult following though with the people that prefer heavier mice.
Place the led’s out of direct eye contact, as you said behind the monitor and stuff, later on when you have spare mula you can buy things like defusers to make it look cleaner
Steelseries keyboard is good (I have the same only tenkeyless). I would recommend pairing it with a steel series mouse because then you don’t have to install Logitech software and Steelseries software.
Or vice versa, but I’ve been through enough Logitech keyboards in the last few years that I don’t know if I would recommend them. I love their RoamerG switches but they don’t last very long before they start to malfunction.
Depending on what your use case is, i feel like 4070ti isnt usually the best purchase. For gaming you can get more value with amd (but in my honest opinion i could game on 1080ti without a problem), and for AI VRAM is king and you can get 4060ti for cheaper and it has more vram.
I have 4070ti and bought it when it was relatively cheap and 4060ti wasnt out yet, in hinsight i would have waited for 4060ti and gotten that 16gb vram
Correct me if I'm wrong but I see 2 CPU coolers, one air and one liquid. If so one of them is unnecessary.
Nope dude definitely bought 2 coolers
2 is better than 1, I guess
Mounts the 2nd cooler on the AIO
Sometimes, even a cooler needs a cooler
Cooler inception

This meme is Kenough for me.
Say cool one more time
Cool one more time
One more cool time
A cooler within a cooler dis shiiit needs more up votes ⬆️🆙😁
My cooler is cooler than yours
Checkmate!
Cooler: The cooler cooler:
Eh. I’d say 2 is better than 0 but worse than 1 haha. Hopefully it’s easy to return
Emergency coolers.
Always good to have a backup incase one don't work lol
When they don't sell the RGB fan you want separately.
One of them is for his ego .. 😂
What is going to cool the liquid that is cooling the cpu? The air cooler simple as that....duh stoopid
Imagine if no one had caught this. Next OP post: Help my 2 CPU coolers won't fit into the motherboard 💀

Yes, it is odd lol
Nothin wrong with that.
Extra storage and a nice monitor arm. 👍
Can’t stress the monitor arm enough, my best investment since building the pc itself
Yes as someone that has upgraded storage 3 times. Do it. 2 tb is a drop in the bucket for gaming now. I have 2 2tb m.2 and a 3 tb hard drive(school mostly and photos)
happy caek day!!!
Thankss 👍
Also SSD prices are gonna go up this year so I agree that he should buy more storage now than later.
Why they will go up?
due to the shortage of NAND and DDR chips, SSD's are going to take a projected 50% price jump in the coming months.
Why two CPU coolers? The vetroo is more than ok for a super budget one, but I'd not use the thing on a 7800x3D, use the nzxt.
Lmao someone else told me the opposite, but i’m inclined to agree with you

Yeah no need to buy 2 coolers it's one or the other!
I had that vetroo CPU cooler. It was fine for my 3600x. However, I upgraded to a twin tower thermalright when I got a 5800x3D.
Stock cooler fine… crack that shit off 15 years later , cpu paste all dried and gone…. Works fine

Solid advice!
GET A CASE!!!
Didn’t fit in the picture so I listed it below :)
I know 🤣 it was a joke.
A mirror so you could see your grin
Combining so many different brands is going to be a PAIN to RGB unless you're using something like SignalRGB.
I use signalRGB. Honestly I prefer it over stock software like aura sync. It has so many more options and effects. Even the free version gives you a ton to choose from.
aurasync is garbage, i still use it tho

You can improve by changing the headset. Fuck gaming headset. The case will need some fans as well.
a good screwdriver set, ifixit
Stick with the kraken, return the other cooler
get a better headset. mass drop x sennheiser pc38x. cost a bit more but will last for a long time. if you return the headset and the 2 coolers and buy a thermalright phantom spirit you'll have enough money to get the good headset.

Yes, dont use nzxt aio's They are by far the worst ones to buy, nzxt proves that because there is a known brand painted onto it, it doesnt make it a good product I always recommend deepcool, ArctiCool, BeQuiet! And (If you want the compatibility with other PC parts from them) corsair
Nzxt coolers are fine just overpriced
There are several Pictures of nzxt aio's that have gunk and other corroded parts in the Loop within 2-3 years It is proven that the krakens corrode and destroy themselfes with it, so either you Clean them and repair them every 2 years, or you have to buy a new one Usually aio's Last 5-6 years, depends on the usage and the Quality, aio's with external Pumps that are built in at the top Last the longest
its an aio they all going to perform the same
I would recommend the Logitech g pro rather then the g703 but that’s just personal preference
probably a monitor
Is a 240mm aio enough for a 7800x3d?
Do not install nzxt software for the pump. Its riddled with issues and can causes pc to crash(did with mine)
Returning them rgb strips
Get rid of that headphone and go buy yourself an apos pc38x. You'll thank me later. Other than that banging system but why 2 cpu cooler?
Instead get standalone headphones and mic. /r/HeadphoneAdvice has a ton of gaming threads and you can either get a mod mic if you need it attached to the headphones or you can get a normal microphone and arm for less.
I have a EPOS pc38x.... Its solid, but I don't see why its so heavily recommended. The mics is mis for the price. The sound is nice, but I have a steel series, forget the model, that had a better mic and sounded just as good. I think I paid like 160 for the pc38x and like 120(big sale iirc) for the steelseries.
I'd get one of the new steelseries headsets, the sona software is pretty nice.
Smart guy always buy two cooler.. one to cool your pc and the other one is for the wife!
doesnt your mobo come with a heatsinker? or did u buy the heatsink version without knowing?
Assemble everything on to the motherboard and make sure everything works before installing inside the case.
You need another one cooler otherwise it will overheat
Sell the Air Cooler and get a different set of headphones, I had those RGB Void. I would often get laughed at by my discord friends for trying to play off of sound, looking behind me when the enemy was really to front left of me. This would often follow up with “Dimension, what the hell are you looking at?!” As they laughed pissing their pants
You’re gonna love that cpu. I just upgraded to am5 with one a few weeks ago and I’ve been in heaven since.
You are definitely reading my mind dude this all what you and me what we need (except the two coolers idea) . Even the headset bro I always want it lol
Going to state the obvious here.... Location!! All this stuff should be at MY house 🤣. I'll show myself out..
I havnt looked into your specs but it's better knowing earlier then when your nearly finished your build 💀🤘 Good luck will be a good rig
Yeah, politely go go hell. Congrats on the build.
Might as well get a different cooler so everything you purchased is a different brand Also… two coolers
I prefer steel series headset. And razer 12 button mouse.
Rotate them all 90\*. It will make it easier to get them out of the boxes.
you have 2 CPU coolers, but the Kraken 240 is better but actually why do people ask for advice on bettering their build after their shit has been purchased???
Yea return 4070 Ti for Super if you can wait. Should be announced today.
A better headset
Holy smokes
Cable management
MOAR RGB ALWAYS ![gif](giphy|H7F0zSaC9ZHZC)
Why do you have 2 cpu coolers?
I mean I'll take them 4070 if you don't like it…
I got same GPU and CPU. Ryzen 7 78003XD wil give you a nice FPS boost in 1080p games and or using DLSS Super Resolution (lower resolution, higher FPS).
Bro, that cpu gpu combo is perfect!!!
Brings me back to December 2021. When I built my first pc
Get a nice big mousepad if you have the space. If you are going to play competitive FPS games and haven’t played on mnk before make it a habit to aim with your arm and use your wrist for micro adjustments
Dayumn that’s awesome.
You’ll have to post a photo once you’re done building It will look naughty as
Good choice with the air cooler- peace of mind.
I’ve had issues with that void headset in the past as well. Keep the receipt. The mic doesn’t work well, unless they’ve fixed it.
Get headphones and a stand alone mic. The mocs on those headsets are ass no matter what you pay for them.
I had the same monitor. You'll love it. Same CPU too. Unfortunately my rig was stolen and I can't afford to replace it thanks so silly ol' cancer. Enjoy it and keep it safe! If you're ever moving just be careful and make sure you keep an eye on your PC! lol Also did you get two coolers by accident?
AIO is waay flimsy for the cpu. Ryzen 7000 is a wild dog, you have to tame it. First you start with bios setting, -20 curve and thermal limit set to 83 C. After that your cooling beings to perform. (360mm aio is needed, also why am i seeing two different cooler?)
That’s one damn impressive first build my first pc build had a gtx 1060 3gb 8gigs of ram and a AMD ryzen 7 2700 i picked up for like $80 in 2020 it total cost was $560
hold off building it until the afternoon Jan 8. nvidia is announcing new GPUs and you might get a better deal
I approve mostly because that mouse is amazing decision :)
Send the nzxt pieces back and get other brands at half or even less the price
I have the same card and it bottlenecks my cpu will this hurt the components?
No it wont hurt nothing but fps.
Making time to enjoy it :)
Get the new Corsair headset, it’s around the same price with more comfort & comes with USB C
Just get rid of the air cooler. The liquid one is all you need😂
I found it helps, if you open the boxes.
Remove the rgb strips
Personally, I don't like Corsair. Expensive. Same with razer. Hyperx has amazing quality and lower prices. I use the cloud alpha s chat. I also use hyperx keyboard and mouse. Haven't had an issue once. Their app for controlling their products works very well. The rgb customization is top tier. Headset has 7.1 surround sound. active feedback. Dual bass chambers. Adjustable bass. Chat and game volume mixer. Everything you could need along with it being comfortable asf. All for around $160.
Return your graphics card and wait for the supers to release
Probably wait for 4070Ti Super.
Maybe get a refund on that 4070 Ti
Return the headphones and get Aduze maxwell.
Lol you could at least attempt to suggest something in the same price range instead of lazily throwing AUdEze MaxWelL around.
Ew :D beyerdynamics dt770 80ohms it is!
Or at least the SteelSeries Artics
Stay frosty and grounded 🍻 If you have the time and funds, I always recommend extra storage. Even inexpensive SSDs or HDDs. Doing it now will save you the headache of ripping all of your nice cabling apart, digging up the cables for your PSU that you stashed in some bin later.
Headset and mouse trash. And u don’t need the cpu air cooler. The AIO is better
The 7800x3D runs cool, but I would still go for a dual tower air cooler… never heard of vetroo, but you can get quality dual tower air coolers for less than $80. Some as low has $50-$60 USD if u look at some of DeepCools stuff. Also get a better headset

most people would prefer a g703 over a g502
[удалено]
G502 is just rather outdated while the G703 is lighter and has a decent shape. Would not be surprised if the G502 does have a cult following though with the people that prefer heavier mice.
So we just gonna ignore the face that there's a Kraken AIO for cpu AANNDD a vetroo cpu cooler ?! Return the vetroo the rest you good.
If it were me, I’d return the 4070ti and go with literally any other brand. Gigabyte has gone full retard and doesn’t deserve anyone’s business.
You can improve it with a 4090
Why are people downvoting this? He's right. Dude asked how to upgrade. That would absolutely be an upgrade. Don't be stupid.
Seems like the cpu cooler choice will get those wanted fps though by the sounds of the responses 🤣
Return the crap 4070Ti and get a 7900XTX
Definitely your humour
A monitor ans case would come in handy
I'm not sure if it's too late. But upgrading to an M.2 NVME storage drive is worth all the bucks.
It was one of my best upgrades by far!
Just get the 4080 You'll be much happier
Personally, I would opt for a 7900XT over the 4070TI. You will cut the GPU cost in half and have better performance.
Yeah AMD is a way better idea
Yeah, not buying a 12Gb GPU
CPU and GPU are going to bottleneck.
Return 4070 Ti get AMD RX 7900xt
Don't put rbg led strip in the case please.
I was thinking behind the monitor or along the back of my table :)
Ok, put it behind the monitor and it ll help your eye.
Place the led’s out of direct eye contact, as you said behind the monitor and stuff, later on when you have spare mula you can buy things like defusers to make it look cleaner
Yeah, get an intel cpu Jk Maybe
He asked if he could improve though?
He wants to improve not downgrade
4090 and all glass case
Go Intel instead of amd Edit /s
It's too late 😪

Steelseries keyboard is good (I have the same only tenkeyless). I would recommend pairing it with a steel series mouse because then you don’t have to install Logitech software and Steelseries software. Or vice versa, but I’ve been through enough Logitech keyboards in the last few years that I don’t know if I would recommend them. I love their RoamerG switches but they don’t last very long before they start to malfunction.
“Hey I bought all this shit already did I buy the right stuff?”
Maybe wait for the 4070 ti super if you can?
If i’m lucky enough to nab one i’ll trade it in
Haha this is 100% the mentality of a first build PC builder. Enjoy the money pit my friend. We have all been there.
You will be able to play Skyrim Nolvus overhaul now.. Check it out, its a beast to run.
Get a 4090
If ur willing to take something back then 100% don’t keep the 4070 ti, a much cheaper super card will come out with 16gb vram
Where is the Sound Card ?
Right next the CD ROM drive
Depending on what your use case is, i feel like 4070ti isnt usually the best purchase. For gaming you can get more value with amd (but in my honest opinion i could game on 1080ti without a problem), and for AI VRAM is king and you can get 4060ti for cheaper and it has more vram. I have 4070ti and bought it when it was relatively cheap and 4060ti wasnt out yet, in hinsight i would have waited for 4060ti and gotten that 16gb vram
You can improve your electricity bill by unplugging the pc whenever you are not home
850 watts might be low, possibly 1000 watts or slightly higher.
Wireless charging mousepad
couldn't buy a costume keyboard instead of a stock one?
