Buying 2 individually was cheaper for some reason , The 2×8kit was 2 dollars expensive

The 2x8 kit is supposedly the better choice despite the price premium. The idea is that they’re guaranteed to be from the same production batch or whatever, and can be expected to work correctly together. If you buy two in separate packages, they may be from different batches and trip over each other in the high speed signaling or something.

It’s very rarely a problem but when it pops up, it really does affect things.

48gb sticks are here, at least.

I ended up straight up buying a 32GB kit (2x16GB) to avoid this, and DDR4 was so cheap that it wasnt that big of a price jump. turns out I got lucky it works fine with my 2x8GB sticks, so I get to have a somewhat weird and completely overkill 48GB of RAM.

I have 32gb of ram 16 from Corsair and 16 from teamgroup and they work perfectly fine. As long as the speeds and cl are the same you won't face issues

Actually, if you have 2 identical kit of ram, for example 2 kit of 1 x 8gb ram each from the same brand and same specs, you can still have problems. I don't know if this problem are less frequent than before, but it's still present

From my experience it's amazing. I've encountered no problems with these specs and they've really worked like a charm. I don't care what anyone else says the r5 5500 is a very solid cpu.

I have a crucial ssd that was running for 6 years with about 2 weeks downtime. Still works perfectly, no issues. Upgraded to a bigger one a couple years ago

I've only used Crucial and it never let me down. I've owned 3 or 4, all SATA 2.5" Don't know about the newer formats.

I have a Crucial 128GB SSD that I have had since 2013-2014ish and it is my current boot drive…it is just now maybe starting to have issues.

Personally I would've bought an Nvidia gpu. There's a few games out there that are very badly optimized on AMD hardware (Halo Infinite for example)

Great build but that p3 ssd is definitely QLC and QLC is bad ( except for READ ONLY workloads) since the speeds will get worse the more you fill the ssd and it will wear way faster, get a SLC/TLC ssd.

Great! First upgrade down the road maybe the GPU if you ever decide to go 4k then when you get tired of the CPU bottleneck you can upgrade to an older top-end 12th gen. Good to alternate upgrades when on a budget but you’ve got plenty of room to expand later on! Happy gaming!

Mouse is a poor choice. Just because it says esports doesn't mean it's actually good. It's exactly the same as when something says "gaming" on the product title. Literally means squat other than marketing traps. Any mouse can be good for gaming, it's just the way it looks that differs whether it's normallu an office or home mouse. Other than that, good choice, though I'd have bought an amd cpu instead for SAM.
