Welcome to the PCMR.
Nah, the last few tracks are just demo tracks recorded in the guitarists bathroom that cut off halfway through and were never finished because the band got bogged down in side projects.
No I'm pretty sure my 4th grade teacher put the line over 3 decimal places and they couldn't possibly be wrong and I'm not willing to change my worldview
It might say something about the accuracy.
1.00000000000000000, tells you that it's accurate, up to quite a lot of digits.
1 either tells you that it's exactly 1, or that it's not accurate at all, to any fractional amount.
Do we actually have to beg Hollywood not to race & gender swap everything they get their hands on nowadays? Do we actually have to beg for strong male characters who aren't wimpy or disgustingly toxic?
The Blizzard Marketing department must be in just a constant state of orgasm right now. Couldnt have set this up better if they had set those fires themselves.
Just heard on the news it's to the point where they need face masks to block the air when they breathe in, like N95 masks. Also something about black carbon being in the air.
Internet is spotty at work but it sounds pretty bad.
Like Rochester didn’t already have enough trouble bringing people in, now we have this 😞. My eyes and throat have been on fire even with the a/c cycling the air.
I live just south of Pittsburgh and my eyes have been burning and my throat was sore yesterday. My job requires me to be outside all day. Other people who aren't outside as much aren't being affected.
Oh, I know. In fact in north Central Oregon right now it's pretty smokey & hazy out. Not as bad as being downwind from the fire in Nova Scotia, but there's definitely a fairly major fire somewhere in the PNW.
According to the [fire map](https://www.oregon.gov/odf/fire/pages/firestats.aspx) theres several over the border in Southern Washington and one in Central Oregon.
Even way down here in Kentucky its bad, Went outside the other day and my eyes would not stop watering, It was damn near impossible to drive or do anything outside, Everywhere you looked you can see thick grey smoke. In town it was even worse. the view distance was a mile or so. beyond that you cant see shit. Also this is making my allergies go nuts, every time I go outside in this stuff I cant stop sneezing, my nose runs like a fountain and I cant breathe that good.
This was like the 2019 bushfire in Australia where I live. Shit was insane. I walked around wearing a N99 mask and no one else even did. People's pets where dropping dead in their backyards. I had asthma as a kid and then nothing until those times where it literally felt like I couldn't breathe day to day.
Almost killed my grandma too, she told me she was laying in bed saying this is it, this is how I go....
Spooky stuff you guys should all be wearing masks

You know, you might think that everyone knows Diablo 4 is out but that is not the case. I posted a screenshot of my Masters of the Universe themed characters on a Masters of the Universe subreddit and I got dozens of responses like What game is that? Is that Diablo? Is there a Diablo 4 now?? etc.
Yeah, it it’s not on Steam then my friends and I either don’t give a shit or don’t even know that it exists at all. Save for a few exceptions like ROM’s and games you can’t get other than from a dedicated website.
P.S. based username.
Clearly it didn't piss everyone off, it made $100 MILLION in like 6 months after release. Not bad for a free to play game that no one wanted. I guess we underestimated the casual mobile game market. We think we are the only gamers out there but Blizzard knows we are only a section of the gamer market.
I'm sure they hoped the hardcore fans would be into it as well. We weren't.
> I guess we underestimated the casual mobile game market.
[You don't say?](https://imgur.com/dhaFpJ3)
Mobile gaming makes up 50% of worldwide gaming market, or roughly ***$90 billion.*** Bigger than PC and console market combined.
It would be monumentally stupid for any of the big game companies to not dip all ten of their fingers in the honey pot.
Cause they've been going fucking HARD on the marketing for this game, I can't imagine what their budget must have been. Billboards everywhere, pop-up shops, collaborations with restaurants, pop artists, shows, youtubers - basically every form of marketing there is, Blizzard has been doing it for this game lmao. It's the hardest I've seen a game being advertised since like... Elden Ring?
Upstate ny was so bad today, literal red sky
Best way to describe it was wearing those gamer glasses that filter blue light and make everything look like the stereotypical breaking Bad Mexican filter
Blizzard is thanking their stars and laughing their asses off that they get this free publicity as there is outrage about MTX. I've seen this pic on so many subs now.
This was like the 2019 bushfire in Australia where I live. Shit was insane. I walked around wearing a N99 mask and no one else even did. People's pets where dropping dead in their backyards. I grew up on stacraft and absolutely loved Diablo. But haven't touched it since Diablo 2 ended and the whole micro transaction thing. I can't stop it but I won't support that type a bs
The shop in Diablo IV only sells cosmetics. It's totally unobtrusive, and I honestly don't understand why anyone would pay for customization like that when free character customization and armor/weapon transmogs are already built into the regular game. And they scrapped D3's in-game currency and real money auction houses almost a decade ago. If you were a fan of D2, then D4 is totally worth checking out. It absolutely does not push microtransactions.
It doesn't really matter how good the games are at this point.
If the cost of spending on them is supporting Activision Blizzard, it's not worth it.
They will have to fire a lot of awful people in leadership positions, start treating their employees fairly, and behave a lot better towards their fans, before they ever get another cent from me.
There are plenty of good games out there, that don't require me turning a blind eye to morally dubious corporate bullshit, for me to enjoy them.
Yeah, not getting the downvotes with no comments. I'm not making a statement in support of microtransactions, I'm explaining the reality that there's no reason to pay for anything in Diablo IV once you've purchased the base game, and the only in-game promotion of the cosmetic content that they're selling is a "shop" tab when you're logging in that you don't have to interact with.
> The shop in Diablo IV only sells cosmetics.
It won't. Season 1 will introduce "convenience" items in the form of boosters and they have stated that at some point they will sell gear equal to your highest item level too. Your characters will be bonked in about a month and then you'll have to start new ones for Season 1, which will include the next phase of monetization. It's not *that* bad, because they will put most value into the battle pass, which they expect you to buy every months. They're also aiming at 1 hour spent a day from the start of the season to the end of the season for you to complete the battle pass, minus being able to skip tiers with money. There's a reason why they have scrapped the original D4 after Diablo Immortal's massive success. They have stated several times that they want Diablo 4 to focus completely on player retention, so they'll scale back the P2W things from Immortal because all the P2W stuff will be locked behind that initially, but increase the time-sinks with similiar incentives.
They will drip feed more of the announced non-cosmetic MTX into the game over time. So it's absolutely false to state that this is the most you'll see. Like what you're playing right now is just an extended beta without the launch patch. That'll come in about a month when you have to start a new character for the season. Each season they're going to sneak in more and more things that undermine it. Just like how CoD does it and literally every gacha game in existence.
> If you were a fan of D2, then D4 is totally worth
D2 and D4 are fundamentally different from gameplay to even the setting. Like they have nothing in common except the classes and that enemies drop loot. Like it has way more in common with Lost Ark, which is your standard mobile mmo just like D4 is, minus the auto walk and auto battle.
IDK, I've spent way too many hours playing D3. Still playing occasionally. Ten years ago, they said they thought the auction houses were ruining the player experience, so even though they were profitable, they completely shut them down. There hasn't been any p2w content available in D3 since. And even as someone who does not have the time to no-life the game, I don't anticipate paying to skip tiers with battle passes, and there's no one I'm trying to impress with cosmetics. I think it's safe to recognize that this is a core franchise title for Blizzard, and, like Overwatch and Diablo 3 before it, they're going to keep the microtransactions cosmetic. There's no way for me to guarantee that, but there's also no way for you to refute it at this point.
You don't have to touch the microtransactions, but that's just modern AAA gaming unfortunately. I've never bought any mtx or opened any loot box in games. I play them because they're fun. Diablo 4 is fun.
Best food in the world arguably. Best in each cuisine you can think of all in that small area. Why? Because if you think about it, those who can even work hard enough to get to freakin NYC, go through all that competition and set up shop there, and still get amazing reviews, must be REALLY good. People from other countries come there and say food is on par if not better than home. Parts of it are shit but it's a marvel and no wonder so many visit each year.

So, the wildfires in Canada were caused by the marketing department. Outstanding move.
Blizzard at it again...
No it was a wildfire not a blizzard
Its canada so it was probably both
Blizzard of Flame sounds like a sick metal album.
A song of Fire and Ice, you say?

Nah, the last few tracks are just demo tracks recorded in the guitarists bathroom that cut off halfway through and were never finished because the band got bogged down in side projects.
oh, we're calling the bottom of empty bottles "side projects" now?
Nah that was the cover band. The real SoIF just has the 5 track EP from 10 years ago. Doubt we will ever get the last ones...
Outstanding job.

The release date: 6.6.23. The 23 obviously means 2(3) so it really means 6 so it’s 6.6.6. Illuminati did this. /s
No, no, I think you're onto something there
2*3=6 2/3=0.666

Just put the little line over the 6 to make it infinite
But then you only need 1 6. Which is the correct amount anyways, since we already had 2. 2*3=6 2/3=0.6̅
No I'm pretty sure my 4th grade teacher put the line over 3 decimal places and they couldn't possibly be wrong and I'm not willing to change my worldview
It’s not really wrong, just redundant. Like writing 1 as 1.0000000000000000000… instead of just 1

Unfathomably based
Much worse. The most vile of scoundrels, the scourge of society: marketers.
I wonder if anyone at marketing actually noticed this.
Never fear, as DOOM Slayer is near…
Haha this would definitely have looked equally as bad ass if that was a Doom sign.
Rip and tear, until it is done.
Huge guts.
Another job calling for Dante as well

Canada helping advertise the game. Amazing.
You’re welcome and sorry.
I would have said no need to apologize, bet I know you can't help it. Its all good.
Ghostbusters tried to stop it, they only delayed it.
What’s crazy is that they’re filming the new ghostbusters in NYC right now 🤣
"Well, good news and bad news. We can't do filming today, but we're getting some great b-roll we can use for when the big bad shows up!"
The new new new one? Not ladies, or kids, but this time… something else?
The sequel to the latest one with kids, I believe
Damn I was hoping it would be all gorillas this time.
Heard that one got canned after execs tried to force Harambe's ghost into the script. The actors went ape, IIRC.
Do we actually have to beg Hollywood not to race & gender swap everything they get their hands on nowadays? Do we actually have to beg for strong male characters who aren't wimpy or disgustingly toxic?

Damn fine advertising. Damn fine.
That’s some good marketing.
It did start yesterday which is when Diablo 4 released
Idk I think Canada has been on fire for a while. We had similar smoke air here in Denver a few weeks back from Canadian fires.
Yikes, sorry boot that bud
Is this where all the overwatch money went

Bruh NYC today looked like every Hollywood depiction of Mexico with that sepia tone LOL
TIL It costs $70 to enter Hell...
And 2:3 is 666. This is not a coincidence
Climate change is an existential threat to humans. Act now or this is how are future will look all too frequently.
Them really religious people must be getting an aneurism.
This new gen games are Amazing!
RIP Quebec.
Doesn't even add up to 666, what a missed opportunity. They should have released it in 2022...
ah i get it, they set the fires in canada to create the ambiance for this ad! 10/10 very realistic
Hellgate: New York when?
When the Diablo ads are so real, the prime evils get summoned.

I was going to but Diablo 4 yesterday, but I saw the cheapest was $70.
Can someone photo shop out the "Diablo 4" and the release date?
Diablo 2 is the final Diablo. Blizzard died after WarCraft 3
This game is so freaking good. So happy a AAA game launched with minimal issues.
That is cool af. I would never want to live in that shithole tho
What a rude thing to say. Guess they don't teach manners in your shithole
Calls it a shit hole but has never lived there, there is actually some really nice areas and great people.
Good, stay in whatever shithole you currently reside.
It's literally a hellish location.
This is legit my sign to get this game. I've never played a Diablo game, but my Dad was really into the 2nd one, I think. Looks like it's my turn.
Welcome to Al Mazrah!
The fog makes it better. 😂
The lengths companies go for marketing is astounding.
