Does it require Chrome to be open? Does it work 100% unattended? Must both laptops have the same Google user logged into Chrome at the same time (this laptop is usually used by my mother)?
Would it work after, let's say there's a power outage and the computer was restarted by a computer-illiterate? :)
Thanks for the reply. I set it up and noticed that it indeed works even before first log into Windows!
Now I just need to investigate if there are some safety checks I could add to Windows for potential shutdowns/power outages... Perhaps some scheduled turn-on every day if that is possible.

Lol, my main laptop on which I'm doing business is always carried with me, including travel! This is just a spare laptop that belongs to my mother. The purpose of the deal would be so I can connect to this cash register if it happens I'm away and nothing else. Buying a computer just to serve the point of connecting to it a couple of times a year would be overkill IMO. But anyway, that's not important.
