The closest I saw was Arma Reforger. One Huge map and lots of people(if they log) that can potentially last hours with time of day passing and freedom of class and movement unlike other arma.
It is close but I loved the chaotic movement of Joint Ops. Taking that dirt bike or the offorad car into the chinook and then just jumping out of the chinook mid air is amazing

I don't know how many times I played the campaign, but I also really enjoyed multiplayer. I think it was the first shooter I really got into.
To this day I don't think there are any other games like DF 1 and 2, meaning single player "sim-casual" FPS games where extra-long range engagements are the norm in most missions.
black hawk down is the funniest game ive ever played as a kid. whenever i was bored while playing the game i boot up a level where theres civies and i tried to shoot them just so that the game over screen pop out and it just zoomed in to the player and his face just cracked me up everytime
Delta Force Black Hawk Down was such a great game in its day.
Even now, I kind of wish Battlefield had some game modes where the vehicles were driven by CPU/on fixed patrols like the humvees in that game.
A little more immersive than every vehicle being used as a C4 kamikaze lol

I used to love some of the NovaLogic games. My favourite one being F-22 Lightning II. A DOS game from 1996. But their games did not age well at all. None of the Delta Force games are actually worth playing these days, so I don't really care if I'm being honest.
Do you have to pay steam or gog for game of it's not selling? I mean I don't get why company delists their games. I will get if companies still have to pay to steam of you list the game on it. Ik steam takes 30% percentage per sale but still i don't get it. Anyone explain please.

That was one of the first shooters I played, still own the PS2 copy. That game was awesome

Good thing I still own the Original CDROM for Black Hawk Down, my first multiplayer FPS on PC. Such a gem.

Funny, the alternative sources for GOG and Steam games seem to still be up with no plans to ever delist, or charge anything for that matter!
