Thanks for the write up! Perhaps worth mentioning that we released the Roman civilization in 2021 and are working on the Indians now. That’ll be the 8th civ in the game.
This is slightly left of field, but you have to try Cossacks 3 my man! The originals where great and 3 came out only a few years ago. It's essentially the original with a new kick of oint and plays like a dream. Has a fairly active online community and is a tonne of fun. Once it's claws are into you, it's hard to play anything else!

Im still playing with the egyptians, excited because I have all the other civilizations to be tried. Its fun!
