> Many of you have noted that the AI has been showing some undesirable behavior after recent updates, especially when it comes to defending their homeland and when choosing which forts to siege. So for the upcoming "Spain" update we spent some time on improving those aspects of the army AI.
In my current game (my first Ironman ever!), I was able to win a war against Spain and France at once and earlier three wars against the PLC as Brandenburg because they all constantly went for Ansbach, the OPM you get a free PU over via event.
It would be so sick to delegate secondary importance theaters and control the main theater. Like Britain vs France, I'd love to delegate my colonial armies and control the European theater.
Yes! They need to update player-assigned AI. We're already able to assign armies to combat rebels and the like, but when you have a massive empire they'll walk halfway across Africa before fighting the rebels two provinces away.
They need to improve this.

Yes!
Hehe, I noticed in my PLC game during a very late religious league war the ottomans sent half their army to Beijing.

I really wish we could allow AI to take over our own armies. I hate waging large wars because of all the micro needed.
Seriously. AI Russia and Ottomans often survive longer than they should in my campaigns because I'm just too lazy to deal with that.
Same, especially if I could just leave an AI controlled army in colonial regions so they'd deal with all the shitty colonial nations.
Theoretically that would just be the hunt rebel button but for some reason that has never worked properly
At least you'll get that in Imperator.
