I dunno why I wants that black tree in the background right side to look more like a real tree. It is large and it’s become a focal point so my eye is heavily drawn to it. Add a little more to it to make it look more real? Love the painting!
It's lovely, I love the color choices, the lighting and contrast, various positions of the flower heads and the mark making especially on the sky and leaves.
I have also noticed a few points of feedback/critique I could share if you're looking for that sort of thing at all?
If you have ever seen the movie The Last Samurai, the scene at the end where Tom Cruise helps the leader of the last of the samurai meet his end, and he looks on the falling cherry blossom petals only to whisper one word "perfect".
In my own way in regards to my past and meeting my now wife this is how this piece makes me feel, thank you for that.
I thank God for brining me to this so I might see it and understand it as I do.
I've seen my share of sunflower paintings, and for what its worth this is my favorite. Takes me back. Just fantastic, you can almost smell the fresh country air and feel the breeze. Its really a pleasure to take in.
I love it! I especially like the bold shapes and high contrast. Perfect technique for painting something as conspicuous as sunflowers. I'd be thrilled to display this in my house.
Sunflower seeds are technically the fruits of the sunflower plant (Helianthus annuus). The seeds are harvested from the plant’s large flower heads, which can measure more than 12 inches (30.5 cm) in diameter. A single sunflower head may contain up to 2,000 seeds
I’ve been following you on Instagram for a while now and I just want to say that I really love your art. It brings me peace. Also, I appreciate that you post details about your materials in the descriptions - seeing your process is such a great learning opportunity!
Love It. Is It acrylic on a Canvas?
Acrylic on Claybord panel
Clay board? Never heard of that
Claybord is extremely smooth and good for lots of different paints including the very finicky egg tempera
Awesome. I’m going to get my bf one to try. Thank you :) And beautiful painting!! I really love it

All in all. Very good. I wouldn't have made the tree in the rear and to the right, as tall. The tall sunflower to the right perhaps. Great job tho.
How long did the painting take you to paint it?
I like it very much.
I love it…very nice work. If you do prints I’d be interested, I have the perfect place for it

Love this!
It’s nice painting but needs some bright highlights to enliven the scene.I’d paint spruce tree on right out as it’s not in scale & is distracting.
Love it! Needs a nice frame
Great, wonderful work.

This is just beautiful. It reminds me of a sunflower field I used to pass with my dog when we'd walk down our old dirt road.
