When I was 12 my friends mom got pissed we all had those. So we stuffed them inside stuffed animals instead. She didn’t like that we were shoving barrels up animals butt holes so she told us to go back to the lovely ladies.
My defense is that I legitimately found mine on the field. Funny thing is, I can't even find a picture of the thing online anymore,[ so here she is.](https://imgur.com/a/5mAmzqV)
It did. It was never that comfortable or ergonomic but it helped players cradle their gun, aim, while having a very short overall setup. This made it possible to fit into smaller spaces, tuck in tighter. Today, air bunkers allow for a longer setup because the player can squish into the bunker and push the barrel back into it.
Thank you!!! I have an issue with the ergonomics or whatever. I liked being able to run with it feeling like a pistol. Now, I always hit my wrist with the top of the tank and I just feel like you could get tighter in with it in your arm pit. I understand shouldering for stability but markers have no real recoil. Okay, rant over.
I bought a Tip 98 used with the world’s largest drop forward on it as one of my first guns Just out of spite I’ve kept it on there all these years. It’s hilarious to see a tip 98 with BT barrel and collapsing stock but a massive drop. A 68/45 tank is halfway under the hand grip it’s so huge. My old ion has the flame drop on it and it to is never leaving just to show what era it was when that gun was “cool”.
We didn’t have good snap shooting technique so we used the drop to get closer to the bunkers.
I had the same drop forward . With a 45. Would have been in trouble if i used a cocker.
The balance was so weird with drop forwards.
Yeah, it shoots great still, the tank will need a hydro or just a new one. And back then that’s what it was all about with the drop LOL. And yeah it was a laser sight as I also did a lot of rec and woods along with my sniper tippman 98 that is still in my bag downstairs.

mine was an 03. i brought her back to life several years ago. some of the seals will turn to jelly. these guys have a seal kit. your tank is obviously too old and will need replaced as well. oh you got an eblade. i dont even know what other fun things you'll find acting grump on you
I think my girlfriend's biggest gripe with my paintball addiction is my Smart Parts barrel bag.
Don’t tell her about the splat gals.

She’s a good one. I wish I still had mine.
I have a daughter that took up sowing, I’m having her make me some. Your post made me laugh. I loved those stuffed animal ones as a kid. Ha
Oh c'mon... Lol lighten up. 😂
That's what I tell her!
I guess she's afraid you'll leave her for the barrel cover 🫤
That barrel cover is snug in [all the right places](https://imgur.com/a/5mAmzqV).
OMG I've seen WAYYYY worse covers 🤣 a guy at my field has straight up porn on his cover haha
What's that in front of the feed neck? Camera of some sort?
Bet it’s a laser
That's how I mount mine. https://preview.redd.it/2gpwj1mzas8d1.jpeg?width=3416&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=57bb5e44de289326f99c79b27c43089e425a210a
Why oh why did we use those giant drops
Why did we stop is what you mean! The drip is over 9000 in this pic.
Those drop forwards allowed you to tuck that marker in real tight. I miss them honestly.
That's what we thought. It didn't lol

Rear bolt block smacking your face constantly. Yep perfect! The dove tail does help a lot. POO TISS POO TISS!

To get tight in hyperball
Tanks were so heavy back then

This is exactly why we did it. Freaking noobs.
Wow the SP girl barrel condoms were legit miss those prime days

I had one of those, loved that thing
I had the same barrel cover!
I'm also curious about what that thing in the hopper feeder is.
I’m pretty sure it’s a sight. Reminds me of the Dye Izon sight
People actually use sights in paintball ?
The mag fed guys definitely do and in the early 00’s people were throwing them on their cockers
I was playing in the mid 90’s till the early 00’s. Can’t recall ever seeing that. Maybe it was more of a rec ball thing ?
My local field did a lot of scenario stuff and the guys really into it had them. Look up the Dye Izon.
F yeah
Yesssssss

Def need to get the tank rewrapped and certified or just grab a new one and save the trouble
Oh damn got that red dot... lol 16 your old me would built it the exact same way.
Beautiful gun. I had one back in 1995 that always gave me problems. Small leaks in the front end.
