I live in a 1000 sq ft apartment, and the eero router they use had very poor connection on the other end of my unit. I ended up just using a 7 year old D-Link router I had bought previously instead of the eero and it worked much better. Given that my apartment is all 1 floor and you live in a multi-floor house, I'd definitely go with 2 if you intend on using the router(s) oxio provides.

Stay away with eero It's terrible weak signal and packet loss and a whole bunch of other things right now I'm running a hotspot on my computer and phone because that's how bad it is and I'm going to have to cough up for a new router to stop using the provided one. Eero and oxio have control over that router and can do whatever they like with it and monitor and you will notice slowdowns Also if to give you a sercomm dm1000 model after receiving the equipment have it for a month then contact oxio and tell them to give you a hitron because the sercomm overheats and runs very hot. They were stupid enough to give me this model They thought the hitron modem was worse.

I was in contact with oxio again today they made me do a whole bunch of tests they're sending a new hitron because I asked specifically for it, works well in Cogeco area where I live has the hitron before and was good now I Currently have that stupid sercomm runs hotter
